This reminds me of a doughnut with a jelly filling and sugar on top, microwaved. But it is taking me longer than usual to decide whether I like it or not. Sometimes it smells great, and sometimes it is a tad too much PASTRY! I think overall though that it is a keeper.

First impression- cocoa, followed by icky icky black licorice. Ahhh! (runs screaming to wash it off)

Very nice but there is hardly any difference from Pumpkin 5 from last year, though this is maybe a bit more wearable. Perfect for a bright fall day with a bit of chill in the air.

Brown sugar, sassafras, clove, and wild plum. This reminds me of a Yule scent, most likely Butter Rum Cookie, for some reason. I feel like there is a strong boozy rum scent to this with brown sugar, reminding me a little of Brown Jenkins. I really like brown sugar and plum, but it reminds me of when I was wearing Butter Rum Cookie and my boss was convinced something was burning in the office. I was too embarrased to tell him "no, I think it is my perfume"

First note immediately picked out: vetiver. Second note: apricot. These two notes remind me of a GC scent, but I can't think which. Upon reading the list of notes, I can detect a hint of sugar, but that is it. If the apricot were much stronger with only a hint of vetiver, I might keep it as I usually like apricot scents (March Hare and Katharina, I'm looking at you), but as it is, no.

I got this because I was hoping it would be like Candles Moon. This is much more of a soft, creamy beeswax and honey than Candles Moon, but it is still really really nice. I can't stop smelling myself. ETA: This is really nice as a perfume for falling asleep, or else when you want to smell sweet and innocent. I just ordered three more bottles of it. I think if I were faced with the task of picking only one GC to save from discontinuation, this would be it.

never would have guessed these notes. Well, maybe if I sniff hard and close my eyes, I can pick out the pumpkin, maybe some amber. There is something about this that makes me feel slightly urpy. It feels like too much going on, too many conflicting notes. Pumpkin, amber, mango?

This one goes in my "nice but.." file. It has a nice coconut smell but underneath there is a scent of something like plastic.

360. This is a sugary vanilla, full to almost overflowing. Nice scent, first CT I have received that I like. 360. This is a sugary vanilla, full to almost overflowing. Nice scent, first CT I have received that I like. -
I like this. It is a sugary sweet lemon blossom, with a bit of tropical fruit punch thrown in.

This reminds me of L'Encre Noir (for him) by Lalique. Just looked up the notes, and it says "Encre Noire was developed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson, and features two kinds of vetiver (Bourbon and Haitian), cypress, cashmere woods and musk. It is dark and spicy and dirty, with none of the bright, clean feel of Guerlain Vetiver, and has an appropriately inky feel." Guess it must be the Haitian vetiver.

This smells like a spicy cinnamon orange, like one of those potpourri balls that you hang up in a closet, or a winter tea. Maybe a bit of clove.

Re-trying this scent. Upon first application, it reminds me very strongly of candles moon, I don't know why. Something about the tea/milk... beeswax? Then it fades into more of a black tea and stays there. Nice.

This is a soft powdery scent that makes me think of honey, similar to another GC blend that I can't quite place. It isn't me but makes me want to keep sniffing my wrist. It is something that I think a man would want to come in real close (nose a few inches from skin) to smell.

Urg. I don't like this. A strong fougère scent, with maybe some pine and juniper.
-
This is a nice sweet hay smell, with a tiny bit of pumpkin.
-
Urg. Way too fruity floral, rose and fruit in a sickening combination.
-
I liked this at first, but then it just became too too sweet. Plus, honey isn't really my thing.

I really wanted to like this, but it seems to be all dusty cedar on me, for which I have Cytherea.

Navette! This is the first thing that came to my mind when smelling this. Navettes are a speciality of this region, and are small hard cookies shaped like boats and flavored with orange blossom and a little bit of anise I think. Nice, but don't really want to smell like a cookie.

This smells exactly like when I was vacationing in Italy- rollerblading along the coast, past some fig trees, a light breeze. I had received the bottle a little before, but didn't take it with me on my vacation. While skating the thought "Nonae Caprotina" suddenly came to me. Perfect!

This is a perfect fruity summer scent. Not too serious, something for lying on the beach, drinking some frilly cocktail. Kind-of like the Luau Lounge scents, Upa Upa et al.

Hmm, interesting. I would say plum first, then maybe some musk, a bit of lemon and coconut. Very nice scent, but needs to sit for a year or two in the bottle, or else be in imp form. A spring/summer scent, not for Fall or Winter.

Nice but no blackberry. A light beeswax scent and a bit of smoke.

A deep velvety Cabernet Sauvignon with hints of plum, black cherry, rose petals, coffee bean, and smoky oak. Barrel and bottle aged, with a smooth and spicy hit mid-palate. Hints of Dagon's tarry black incense and clotted blood complete this well-rounded, robust indulgence. In the bottle, this smells like everything I hate- a deep red wine scent. (well, actually, I love red wine, just not ON me) Living up to my motto of always skin testing a fragrance, I dab some on. Yep, hate. Smells like wine and something burnt.
