They actually toured in San Diego last weekend...their music wasn't very good but they smelled fantastic!

I don't think I like this one. It smells like Snake Oil on a rampage and the vanilla is really VANILLA on me. Yup, it is a lot like Snake Oil except way too strong for me and the sweetness of the orange and the scent of vanilla gives me a headrush...I can't see myself wearing this, even once in a while.

Smells very earthy. I don't know if that is the green tea doing its job, but the experience is a pleasant one. The scent is like a freshly watered garden--soil, waterdrops, exotic waterflowers, thick herbal plants--this could be a bottle oil for me once my green tea spray runs out.

Ooh, this starts off as a Delphi scent on me...that weird overly smell, almost sweet rotting garbage smell...it does get better as it dries, but not much better. I think my nose reacts to both wine and honey badly...so this just isn't for me. It is just rank on me.

Could this be the pure ozone air smell I have been looking for? It has no sign of citrus like Storm Moon and Thunderbird...just empty air before a rain. It doesn't have any of that dryer sheet smell. Hmmm...will have to try again...this one smells of pure clear nothingness...I love it!

Silk Road is disappointing to me. In the vial it smells really spicy. Almost like an autumy Samhain type oil. But when I put it on, it smells like a very light spicy floral. I had to ask boy what it smelled like to him and he said the same thing. We were both very neutral to the oil. It reminds me a little bit of AIRS's Silk oil, which isn't made anymore, but it is light flowery musk with a slight spice to it. I think I like Silk much better. In a strange way, it reminds me of Snake Oil with flowers instead of honey in it. It disappears very quick. I just put it on about an hour ago and it is all gone. I was hoping for a more foody bazaar type oil and got a sort of girly deordorant scent. I can't really recommend it, for even if someone wanted someone girly and spicy, I would tell them to get Dragon's Milk or Snake Oil instead.

Olfactory caffeine: Wake up, Stay Awake with BPAL

I would say anything with mint or citrus in it...both are supposed to be energizing. I found Absinthe to be energizing. Maybe you should try looking up herbal or fresh scents by families on the website. The fresh scents get you going...I would say Shattered or Akuma...Baobhan Sith... Oh and Mata Hari...coffee is a great pick me up....ditto Miskatonic U. It is spelled Tulzscha, that's why. It is in the Springtime in Arkam section, you can just hit on that too and scroll down. I am take aback that Embalming Fluid didn't work for you...that wakes me up so much! -
It had the same rank garbage smell Delphi had in the vial and putting it on, it takes a lot of time to morph into something I can stand. I wish I knew what note it was that smells like this, I would surely stay away from it.

I like this one. Sort of a mix between Goth Rosary's Graveyard and BPAL's Ulalume with a tiny bit of citrus ozone thrown in for flavor. But will it last on me? If it lasts for more than an hour, I might get a bottle of it, if not, well, I won't. It smells like a freshly mowed graveyard after a rain.

TULZSCHA A belching column of sick greenish flame... spouting volcanically from depths profound and inconceivable, casting no shadows as healthy flame should, and coating the nitrous stone with a nasty, venomous verdigris. For in all that seething combustion no warmth lay, but only the clamminess of death and corruption. A crystalline, cold green fire: six mints with white pepper and cucumber. This be aimed at Beth, but maybe in the future others will be able to answer this, but is this high on the mint and low on the cucumber? I really would like to try it, but the mint I am unsure of. A cold fire? Interesting.

It does smell like a more mainstream perfume, high on the floral. There was something I didn't like about it when I tested it out a few weeks ago. But I can't remember what it was now. Oh, it reminds me exactly of AIRS' Silk.
-
Reminds me of a pantywaist sort of male drinking Earl Grey tea. Think Wesley from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Yeah, you just want to beat him and make his day.
-
It reminds me of Villian, except the pennyroyal is stong and that makes me like it more than Villian, but both remind me of something better worn by a man.
-
It has a nice black tea scent in the beginning then becomes cremey, which I don't like. It would be great to have a black tea oil that didn't have a cremey or fruity base to it. Oh, yeah and the vanilla isn't good for me either.
-
Very cherry on me, you could say single note cherry. It wasn't for me.
-
Very fruity and very fresh. It fades fast and leaves me with sandalwood oil. Not my thing, sorry AlectoNox.
-
Smells like watery tea laced with cedar. I didn't get any lavendar in this one at all and the scent was gone before I hit the bed, so I don't know if its mission was successful or not.
-
Strong on the incense...it reminds me a lot of Catherdral. They could be kissing occult cousins.
-
The only word I can think of is: Ghostly. All you gothlings should buy this one today, it is creepy and marvelous.
-
It's my favorite friend, musty attic smell. But it is full of really nasty things and I can't wait to walk back down the stairs. Not for me.
-
Salty rosewater dripping from a perfume bottle overturned by a black cat in your grandmother's house...as she commits evil deads in the attic with your dolls.
-
To quote Bono: "She wore lemon to colour in the cold grey night she had heaven and she held on so tight." Woah, lemon! It is so lemony nothing else seems to matter!
-
It is like Catherdral on me, but powdery.

Very good, up there with Ice Queen as my favorite Yule blend. It is cold like Ice Queen but definately has more going on. It is the only Yule LE I tried, other than Heath, that didn't have a pluminess to it. Just cold herbal.
