I get a lot of jasmine form this blend. It works very well though, and it dries down to a very comforting woodsy floral. It definitely helps me to relax and go to sleep. (Where is the snoozing smilie?)

Mmm, my favorite of the somnium blend as far as scent goes. It is herbal green and lavender. The green herbal does remind me of rosemary as others have stated. I also get a resinous note from it, maybe myrrh? Scent apart, it works. This one, Oneroi, and Somnus are the three blends I have tried so far, all of them put me to sleep. And this one has the added benefit of causing some interesting dreams.

Out of the imp, almonds. But on, it becomes so much more. Incense, the myrrh and musk, turn into a wonderful, dark, and evocative incense. Definitely a keeper.

Sweet and milky, with the spicy addition of dragon's blood. The honey really tempers the dragon's blood in this blend, giving it a softness. The vanilla doesn't overpower the blend for me either, as it has a tendancy to do. This blend is soft and creamy, and delectable. I like this one, a lot!

Rose, and lilac, while wet. Very pretty and light. This blend has some depth with the resins in it, but sadly still too floral on my skin.

Out of the imp, this smells like roses, delightful, ethereal, roses. I ordered this after finding out I love Rose Red. I picked out three of the rose blends and hoped to find something similar. This one sadly didn't work out. On it goes soapy on me. I smell expensive rose soap, and nothing else. It was so beautiful in the imp and for the first few seconds too. Skin chemistry, ugh!

Lovely, leather and dragon's blood. It is a very masculine scent to me, as I don't get any of the sweet spicy floral I usually get with dragon's blood. The leather reminds me of the leather in Dead Man's Hand, not the leather of De Sade or Tintagel. Very nice!

In the imp, strawberry and wine. On my skin, sadly, this turns in to Strawberry Shortcake doll. I really had high hopes for this as a summer scent, but it is not for me. I love though, that in this order, I got Thalia, which is the summer scent for me, so all is not lost!

Damp pine forests, this is gorgeous. It conjures up a feeling of deep quiet. Very useful when I am feeling overwhelmed. As it dries down it becomes a bit sweeter in tone, and the musk brings a second skin scent out for me. The juniper adds a softness. Absolutely lovely.

Fresh fruity floral. Mmm, for some reason this was in my to be swapped pile? I don't know if I tried it and didn't like it or if I have two floating around, but I'm glad I tried it before adding it in. It is a fresh fruity floral. The plumeria is a sweet floral scent on me, very tropical. The pear is fresh and lovely, sweet without being overpowering. The champagne adds a sense of bubbles to the blen, it is very cheering when worn. This imp I am keeping, it is wonderful for summer.

Chaos Theory XLIX Mmm, sweet, and slightly aquatic, maybe cucumber? A light floral too, and I have no idea what flower it is, as I don't usually wear florals, but it smells gorgeous. A bit like Snow White, but sweeter and creamier. I picked up one bottle, as I wanted my bottle, and this is brilliant. It dries down to a creamy, slightly spicy, divinely beautiful scent. Lightly floral and very feminine, the perfect black dress of scents.

Sara... me too! My wonderful Arkham order just arrived. I am in the midst of a sinus infection so I can't even really smell anything, but this one made it right through the sinus congestion! I could only wear it for about a minute and I had to wash it off. It is overwhelmingly floral on me, I get a very sharp dose of jasmine and until this infection goes away I can't take it. I'm hoping when I try the second bottle I have coming I get more fruit and less floral, but this bottle atleast is going to offered out in imps. And the brain? Is the coolest thing ever, so squishy and fun.

Lampades, Jack, Hesperides, Verdandi... all remind me of early fall.

Spellbound Lab description is... Perfectly enchanting! An irresistibly sexual, utterly rapturous blend of three roses, radiant amber, and sensual red musk. Mmmm, I am wearing it today for the first time, and 12 hours later it still smells wonderful.
-
Rose, powdery amber, and musk. When I first put this on, for about a minute it reminded me of Ivory soap? The the notes came out, the rose mixes with the amber and I smell a wonderful powdery rose, it is fresh and lovely. The musk slinks around underneath, peaking out, banishing all thoughts of "Ivory 99 and whatever % pure soap". This is a compelling and sexy scent. I love it. I keep sniffing myself...

Cinnamon, and sweetness. This one reminds me of apple pie, a spicy fresh baked apple pie. Spicy, sweet, and a fruity, it tickles my nose. Golden, and delicious, a definite keeper, now to see about the properties. Just for scent alone, a keeper, will update later on voodoo properties.
-
Perfect, the description matches this one perfectly. It is gleeful mayhem, fruity, floral, and spicy. It tingles in the nose, fresh and fruity, then switches over to floral and fruity, then switches to floral and spicy, and then back again, and again... My nose doesn't know what to think, but it likes it. A keeper.

Good heavens, it smells pink. Mmm, this is fantastic, pink now has a scent. Light, creamy, strawberry, sugar, and light florals. It is so wonderful. As it dries the sweetness of the sugar and the strawberry soften the traditional lunar herbs and the flowers, into a heavenly pink scent. It is the scent of little girls playing dress-up in their momma's clothes and perfume. Another winner.

Bright fresh, but light floral. Mmm, this is a wonderful and I don't like florals. After I first put it on, for a few minutes, I thought "oh, no, not for me...", but it settles into a light and pretty floral, a soft and gentle crushed flower scent. I can't pick up any individual notes, it is so well blended. I like this, it is a perfect spring floral. I may not wear it often, but I will wear it.

Smoke and forest from the imp. On this is, wow! This is smoke, forest trees, and wild revelry. How does Beth do it? It is reminiscent of Samhain, all the wonderful smoky notes, the forest, the leaves and dirt, without the fruit and pumpkin. It is everything wonderful about bonfires and holidays spent around them. I love it, I am so glad I got two bottles.

I like this one. The ambers are rich and heady. The apple blossom sparkles and delights the nose. The carnation adds a spicy rich floral. It smells golden. A deep summer, when fall is just starting to creep in kind of scent. I'll be hanging on to the imp. I might even need a 5ml.

Aquatics hate me. I try them anyway, because the next one mught be the one that loves me. This one is not that one. At first it is a fresh and lively floral, then the "aquatic" note takes over and turns into an evil ocean, who only wants to drown me with salty goodness. off to swaps with this, and I'm going off to sulk...

A lemony scent greets me from the imp, it is light, fresh and a bit tart. As it dries and mellows, it becomes muskier, the lemon keeps it very fresh and invigorating. This would be an excellent wake-up scent, it almost has a sparkling quality. Love it.
-
Mmm, fruity in the imp. Pink grapefruit, something that smells like pineapple, and mandarin oranges. It is a fresh and light fruit blend, almost tropical. Not bad, but fruit doesn't always love me, and this one goes too sugary sweet after awhile on me. Off to swaps.

Honey sweet floral. This is a lightly sweet floral, the lily is fresh and light. The honey note adds a charming sweetness to this blend. It is a lovely fresh scent, very feminine. A floral I can wear? I might be a girl after all.
