Or something thereabouts? It's a combination of spices and herbs (or is it just herbs? I can't recall the exact formulation of the mixture at the moment...) that's used in France's famed provençal cooking. Oh, what I'd give to smell like that all the time...
(Edit: Oh damn, I've misspelled "herbes" in the topic title. 6 years of French for nothing.)
Maybe I put to much on, but I could smell The Caterpillar 3 days after application, and 300 some miles away from where I first applied it, while I was taking a shower. Thank god I bought the 5ml!

I'm into forensics (more commonly known as speech and debate), and a friend and I are acting out a piece about king Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine (while she's been under house arrest for 14 years). I was wondering if anyone knew of scents that would help us project the air of conflict and regal backstabbing that this piece seeks to communicate.

I'm looking for the ultimate bergamot. I absolutely adore the way it smells (my Earl Grey is stone cold by the time I get done sniffing and sighing over it ). Something gender-neutral or masculine-leaning, if possible.
(EDIT: This may be a long shot, but lychee?)
