Grog Butter rum. This stuff is sweet!! It smells like…well, rum. And caramel candy. This makes me think of Christmas and sitting around a fire all tucked up in pyjamas. I can’t decide if I need a bottle of this or not. It would be too heavy for summer, but perfect for those cold Manitoba nights.

Old Yerevan Oooh sweet! I was scared of musk and rose but this is all fruit when wet. I love this, I am definitely buying a 5ml. I wish I were better at describing scents, because this one is really special. I really recommend this if you like sweet fruit scents.

Laudanum It smells…strange. It’s light green and minty (?). It reminds me of something, but I can’t figure out what. It’s very light and cool.

Pulse Points Yikes. New toy plastic. Pulse Points is a very dry scent. There’s not a lot of depth to it at all – just a harsh plastic scent. This doesn’t change on my skin at all, and I really don’t like it. It’s very strong and it has staying power, but I do not like it at all.

Chaste Moon I’m not sure what’s in this one…I expected a super sweet candy scent, but it’s really light and pretty. It reminds me of something, but I can’t figure out what. Whatever it is, I’m loving it. It’s really too bad I missed this one because I would have liked to have a big bottle of it.

Sugar Skull This is my second try of Sugar Skull. The first time it was way too syrupy sweet. Hmmmm what can I say about this other than that it’s super sweet? It smells like my kitchen at Christmas. Sugar Skull is much more tolerable when it’s dry – much prettier and less sticky-sweet. I really like it this time. I almost wish I had been around to buy a 5ml.

Harvest Moon I was told my nose is broken because I think this smells like flowers. I get a definite ozone and a bit of wine, but mostly flowers.

Wet: yummm. Sweet cherries with a hint of anise. It stays true to the bottle on my skin. As it dries, more anise comes out and fights with the cherry. I recall having an imp before that was much lighter than this one. It was a light red, and this one is almost black. Although this one obviously has more anise, I like it a lot more than the last one. It’s a really deep, sexy scent. I like it.

Musk, rose, tobacco and a lot of floral usually spells disaster for me, however this was on the top of my wishlist. It’s very strong, and very floral. I can’t pick out what it is that I don’t like, but it’s probably the rose, musk or lotus. I can’t decide. It’s a very interesting blend, different from a lot of Beth’s floral oils. I can’t pick out any tobacco at all, but I think a bottle with a bit more tobacco might be a lot nicer for some reason. It’s just a bit too bright and musky for me.

Glitter Mmm juicy and sweet. Wet, it smells like fruit punch, and I like it! After about 5 minutes the lotus starts to come out a bit, and for some reason Glitter starts to smell like some sort of cleaning product. Pledge maybe? Pledge is such a cliché comparison, but that’s really what it’s starting to smell like! The lotus is almost gone, but so is the sweet juiciness. I smell lemon wine. It’s not as “Pledgey” as I had originally thought it would be, but it’s not fabulous. This would be another nice one for summer.

Aeval Smells like the perfume I had when I was a kid. These sexy perfumes never work on me! It’s really really floral and plasticy. Usually I like tonka. It must be the musk I’m smelling. The indivudual notes in this are normally really nice on me, except musk. This is not a keeper.

Forbidden Fruit In the bottle: Amber!!!!!! Uh oh….this is not a good sign. On my skin it’s much prettier, though wet I still get a lot of amber. I don’t get much citrus from this at all, mostly just amber and flowers. It’s very pretty, though the amber is way too strong for me.

Gorgeous! I love this one. It starts out very sweet, like pink popscicles. Dry it's much more beautiful, though still very sweet. I really have a hard time describing this one, but I do love it a lot. I am so glad I have an imp on the way.

In the vial: strong, not so pretty. Wet: Very strong coconut with a hint of something minty. 10 mins: Coconut and lemons. It's really beautiful. Light and cool; this would be really nice on a very hot day. Final: I really like this. I don't know if I like it enough to buy a bottle. It's been really cold here, so I want to keep my imp and try it again in the warmer weather. The lemon is really nice and cooling and the coconut takes away from the sharpness of the citrus. This is a really nice blend.

The musk and amber in this are really strong at first. Wet, this blend is really not for me. Upon drying, the mango really stands out and sweetens the blend nicely. It’s quite strong, though. The amber is really amped up on my skin (as usual) making this one for the swap pile

Wow. Almonds? No…perhaps that’s the cherry wood. Does cherry wood smell like cherries?? Yikes, this one is…something. It makes me anxious. I can really smell the smoke and leather in this one, with a hint of sweetness. Again, not for me, but actually a very nice blend for someone who likes the more smoky, heavy scents.

Minty, coconut yumminess. Oh this one is really nice. The peppermint is very strong at first, making this a very calming scent. I love it! It reminds me of coconut cookies and those mint chocolate wafers. This stuff is great, I must have more!!!!

I can really smell the pine in this one. This is a really lovely winter scent; it’s light and fun and reminds me of snow. Normally pine is not a favourite of mine, but I can just imagine wearing this out on a nice winter evening near Christmas. I hope this is something Beth decides to bring back for winter this year.

I expected to hate this just because of the notes in it. Generally, patchouli, musk and myrrh make for a bad combo for my skin. Lust is actually a very nice sweet floral on me. It stays very true when dry. I get almost an annis hint, and a bit of bite at the end. It's very thick and heavy on me. I feel warm just sniffing it. I like this a lot, I think if I weren't dead tired, it would probably envoke some sexiness in me. I'd wear it at home, but I think it's too heavy for me to wear out.

I was really looking forward to trying this one. It was recommended to me because I'm a huge fan of Venom. At first, I thought there had to be Dragon's Blood in this one. It's so thick and sweet with a smoky, musky hint. It's very pretty, but the smokiness of the opium really amps up on my skin, and is very unflattering.

This one is a wonderfuly thick, musky scent. It's too heavy and masculine for me, but on the right person, it would be gorgeous. I am horrible at picking out notes, but I can tell you this is a thick, heavy floral with just a touch of creaminess to it.

I have to say I'm disappointed. I was reading reviews expecting to smell fruit and a hint flowers. Instead all I smell is flowers. No fruit at all. I love the brain! I'm going to let it sit a bit and see if I change my mind. This one smells almost *exactly* like Lush's youki-hi bomb and Flying Fox shower gel on me. It's a very very strong floral and it lasts a really long time.

In the bottle: Light, sweet and juicy. Wet:Fruity and fun. Reminds me of summer. Dry (10 minutes):This fades really fast into a nice light, fruity/floral. I really like it, it's a nice summer scent. I'd like a big bottle of this, but considering how quickly it fades, I'm not sure if it would be worth it. I'm definitely keeping this imp though.

From the description of this, I thought I might like it. In the bottle: I got a very strong eucalyptis note. Wet: Wow! Vicks Vaporub. Very stong pine. It reminds me a lot of Jabberwocky 10 minutes: The sharpness has mellowed a lot, though it's still a very green herbal scent that's really not for me. This is very nice and calming, but definitely not a keeper. I just couldn't imagine wearing this out. Perhaps I will try it again and wear it to bed.

I absolutely love this oil. It reminds me of suntan lotion, but in a good way. It's soft and feminine. Gorgeous.
