Least favorite notes: heavy floral or incense notes

Least favorite non-BPAL perfumes:

If Beth made a custom blend for you, what would the notes be, and what would you want the label art to look like? deep, mysterious chocolate scent that makes you wonder just what’s in it; stunning night-time landscape scene

Lifestyle

Style/home decoration style: classical eclectic is how I try to describe all of my style. I live in the south and have family history in latin america and the mediterranean. My house is a weird combo of edwardian & victorian style furniture in sedate colors, dark wood furniture, black & white photos, along side a riot of tropical colors, lightweight white & grey linen, and an excessive number of family photos. Then, add in a few industrial metal furnishings. Probably best captured by looking at my pinterest boards. The PvR:NOH board is furniture I actually own.

Favorite decorating colors: red in the living room, yellow & blue in the bathroom and kitchen, and grey, black, and silver everywhere else

Things you collect: I used to collect unusual sugar packets while travelling, but mostly I’m not a collector.

Favorite music: Everything, literally everything

Least favorite music: I like it all

Vegetarian/Vegan?: (Please be as specific as possible to reduce confusion!) Not any more

Other food restrictions: I’m one of those people who likes to avoid processed foods. The more natural, the better.

Favorite flavors: chocolate, fruit, cumin

Favorite foods/drinks: sweet tea, fried catfish, a good pasta, all seafood

Favorite authors/genres: sci-fi fantasy; big fan of David Eddings, William Gibson, Terry Pratchett. I own most/all of the books written by the first two, but I’m always on the look out for more Discworld

Least favorite authors/genres: Horror

Books/authors you'd like to read, but haven't yet: Chuck Wendig, more Octavia Butler

How do you feel about receiving gently used books as gifts? Hooray!

Favorite stores (including clothing stores): Ureshii, PaintBox SoapWorks,

Favorite online stores (including B&B stores): see above

Magazines you subscribe to: none

Magazines you like, but don't subscribe to: I enjoy reading Garden & Gun and Bitter Southerner, but I don’t do paper magazines

Favorite movies: I like con-artist movies, comic book movies, and well-acted classics. Goodfellas, All About Eve, and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown are favorites. Loopers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Pacific Rim are recent favorites.

Favorite TV show(s): I don’t really watch tv, but I have recently gotten in to Sherlock on netflix. The waiting for future seasons thing is killing me!

Hobbies/crafts done: None really, but I just got in touch with the local weaving and spinning guild to think about learning.

Clothing & Jewelry

Hair type: thick, very dark brown (was black when I was little, but sun has turned it brown), wavy

Skin Type: olive/tanned, freckled, oily

Allergies (specifically B&B related): nope, but I try to avoid most artificially scented products

Other things to avoid: I try to keep things pretty natural

Tub, shower or both? both

Favorite bath & beauty products: PBSW Clean Slate, Kiss My Face Rough Thyme shower gel

Clothing Style/Fave garments: I’m usually a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl, but I fantasize about a feminine but not girly style for work and special occasions. Pinterest is a good indicator of my tastes. The PvR:MRC board contains clothing I either own or plan to buy. I regret the Lands End purchases. I try to keep things sustainable/ethical.

Favorite clothing colors/colors to wear: black, jewel tones

Type(s) of jewelry worn: earrings, necklaces, and cuff bracelets. I like beautiful, dainty jewelry that happens to be unusual or dark toned.

Ring/wrist/collar size: tiny wrists, I’ve tried measuring them but it never seems quite right

Jewelry - gold or silver? silver, always silver

Do you have any allergies to metal? nope

Favorite gemstones: emeralds

Sock/Shoe Size: 7.5

Random Questions:

Random Questions:

- On a scale of 1-5, how organized are you? At home, it ranges from 5 to -5 depending on my mood. At work I’m a 5.

- Where, outside of the U.S. would you love to visit? (if you're international, this can be anywhere) The mediterranean - any part of it. I’ve never been and a branch of my family is from there.

-Where, inside of the U.S. would you love to visit? I’ve considered tying out the NW, but I’m afraid it’s too cold

-Favorite City in the US/World? St. Augustine, FL. Madrid, Spain.

- Do people tell you that you act older, younger, or your age? It used to be older, but now it seems to be narrowing in on my age.

-If I gave you a toy gun with flashing lights, would you hide and start shooting people from around corners OR would you thank me on the IGI thread and then quietly donate it (a niece, Oxfam, Goodwill, wherever)? (there are no wrong answers for this, so don't be afraid to answer honestly) Donate or give to someone who I know would love it. I don’t really like knick knacks or silly toys, but I’m always happy to find a new owner for them.

- What animal do you feel like the most? sloth?

- Your favorite feature about yourself: general? I’m smart and I try to do right by people with that intelligence; physical? my eyes are pretty awesome - dark, big, long eyelashes

- Do you live in a neighborhood or in the middle of nowhere? neighborhood, and it’s awesome. That is the best part of moving to new orleans.

-Have you ever thought, "oh, I'm going to get myself one of those one of these days" but then never do? List 1 under $10 and 1 over $10. Under $10: a spatula (https://productofgir.com/spatulas/black-spatula.html), Over $10: custom made pants

- How do you feel about boi witches? I am in favor but surprised by the question

- Do you like garage sales (boot sales)? Meh - I don’t really enjoy shopping, but I do like a good deal and reusing objects

- I like to slather my food in …: butter

- State fairs or carnivals? fun but tiring. I especially like the local art or food fair variety

- You throw caution to the wind and runaway to join a traveling circus. What job would you want ( a main performer, a side show, a behind the scenes spot, etc) and why? Travel planner and general organizer. Even circuses need a bookkeeper.

- What mythical or fantastic race of creatures (dragons, unicorns, griffins, elves, dwarves, faeries, etc.) do you most identify with? Hobbits

- Imagine that you're given a shoebox-sized time capsule, and you are asked to put any number of items in the box that symbolize who you are. The items can be may be anything you can imagine, and money is no object, but they must fit within the box. What do you choose? My wedding ring, a well read book, a wooden spoon, my dog’s collar, and the mini-figurine my brother’s friend made for me after his death

- Do you need storage boxes/bottles/containers? Decorated or Plain? Sure, decorated but minimalist

- The world has given you the day off. You hear that, no chores, responsibilities, or budget you have to follow. What would you do in those 24 hours? Go to beach, take dog and husband, alternate running around with them, eating delicious food, reading a book, and sleeping.

- Do you like steampunk & if so what kind of steampunk item would you most like to receive? Aesthetically, definitely. That said, it gives me a bit of a squicky feeling thinking about the colonialist implications of the style. I wouldn’t mind reading a steampunk novel.

- Do you have an etsy shop? Nope

- Would you like to receive baked goods, if so what kind? Sure! Any and all are welcome as long as they’re not sugar bombs.

- What is something totally random (yes, that thing that just popped into your head) that hasn't been covered by any previous questions? I’m just starting to work from home. It’s a great set up for me, but I’m trying to find ways give myself quick breaks from sitting in front of my desk all day - stretching implements, quick (5 minutes) meditation routines, easy mental puzzles

Notes (Here's where you can add additional information you'd like your Switch Witch to know!):

You’re awesome! Thank you for doing this.
