Friday July 5/13

Anything from Villainess that strikes your fancy, either from their update or from the GC? Wack & Nilotica sound good. I generally prefer paintbox, but I'd enjoy trying some smack, smooch, or whipped

Thursday July 4/13

If you get a long weekend this weekend... what are you doing with it? Staying in? Going out? Family? Friends? If you don't get a long weekend, are you OK with that, or a little sad? (If you are Canadian, apply this to last weekend).

we have plans to sleep ( we went to friends' house yesterday) and to baby-proof the house. And I need to finishing writing the last worship service for July and start sewing some July b-day gifts and knit some goodness for my witchee. Maybe hubs can care for the kids for a while.

Would you be interested in getting a kombucha starter and instructions on how to use it to easily make your own fermented, probiotic tea drink?

That sounds interesting

Wednesday July 3/13

Anything interesting from the new Paintbox Soapworks update for you?

ALL OF IT!!!

Seriously, though - Candy Floss looks good, and Avast is always great. Nekisse, Clean Slate, Mandinka, Whiskers & the Natural also sound good. I'd love to try a Bath Streusel, and I always love sorbettos and any kind of moisturizer/cream.

What about recycled sari silk yarn, witches and witchees?

LOVE IT!!!!

Sooo, the Blooddrop update (Aviary and Summer Simplicities). Anything you'd like from there?

Tuesday July 2/13

Every package has to have something blue in it. Blue can also be used to describe more risque humor...how would you rate your general sense of humor? Are you strictly PG-13, R-rated, NC-17?

G to PG13 is probably best, with the curious kiddos & all.

Do you like puzzles? What kind? Jigsaw, word, etc?

Jigsaw puzzles! :)

Daughter's Lists

Monday July 1/13

I know Canadian chips can be different than others, how does "dill pickle" or "ketchup" sound? No thanks

If you were getting a custom Haus of Gloi blend, what four notes would you choose? Summer notes listed here and you can click through to the whole list from there. http://www.hausofglo...er-single-notes

Oh I so did not need to try that link! How many addictions will you people cause? I could go a couple of directions:

Lavender

apple, chocolate or coffee

Honey, clean musk, or vanilla bean

or

almond

apple, sweet cream, or cake

Red Musk, Patchoui, or Mahogany

Do you like Kickstarter? Are there any projects up that you really like? I like the idea, but I don't currently know of any I want to get involved in.

If you have an Etsy wishlist, what are your top 5 favorite things on there? The price is unimportant, not because I'm rich, but because I'd like some inspiration.

Well, of course Paintbox Soapworks is always a favorite!

The dragons by Dragonmaker are favorites, I could really use a shawl pin and a reusable straw (long enough for those big, 64 ounce thermos mugs and dishwasher safe) and number five would be anything to do with lavender or chocolate.

Festival this week -- includes an "encampment" and an art faire. any interest in trinkety things from the encampment or cards/prints from local artists If you see something that reminds you of me

How do you feel about glitter? does loose glitter make your skin crawl or would you bathe in it? Neither, but I don't think I'd enjoy trying to clean it up before my 9 month old started to eat it . . .

Do you want/need/like/collect journals? If so, do you prefer lined or unlined? No thank you!

Does the idea of wearing a plant as jewelery give you the warm fuzzies or the heebie jeebies? I think that could be pretty interesting!

Gourmet popcorn, yes/no? What do you like: glazed, savory, candied? Nuts or not? Any flavors you wouldn't like (like Bacon CHeeseburger, Pizza, Watermelon, Root Beer Float, Hot Chili Dark Chocolate)? Or if any of those sounded interesting, how weird is weird enough? I'd be interested in trying it - but please stick to flavors I've mentioned liking (like chocolate with no peppers!) Root Beer might be interesting

I make my own hair gloss, would you like some detangling and very shiny hair gloss made by me? This is a 'cone rich blend, not the least bit natural.

I'd be interested in trying some

Thursday June 27/13

I live near the Brown and Haley outlet - makers of Almond Roca and Mountain Bars - would you want anything from the outlet? For nut-haters, they have nutless Roca For the no-sugar folks they have sugar-free as well.

If they have something with dark chocolate, that would be awesome! Or just a little sample of the Almond stuff ;)

I also have an Oberto jerky outlet local to me - any wants there?

No thank you

How do you feel about home-canned goods? YUMMY!

Do you like BPTP clothing?

What size do you wear of:

Baby-doll T's

Regular T's

yoga pants

Gah! Since the second pregnancy I am about 50 pounds past where I was when I started the first one. That means L - XL in standard tees and don't make me laugh in baby dolls. I'd love a T, but not the yoga pants

Also, what is your favorite lunacy (or non-lunacy) T-shirt that you don't already own?

Or other clothes from BPTP? I don't actually own ANY BTPT clothes.

What else do you love from the Trading Post site, and need to have?

Not sure. I've been wanting to try some bath oils . . .

Is there a particular movie genre that you like (Fantasy? Drama? Romantic Comedy? Musicals? TV-Series, etc), and what format would you prefer: DVD, Blu-Ray, or something in the cloud (like Amazon, iTunes, Flixster, etc)?Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Musicals, some Drama - You (hopefully) can find my wishlist on Amazon (if not have SW or TheRhoda nudge me)

DVD is great, and we just got a Blue Ray that my husband has yet to plug in.

-Following up on the Adagio question from earlier, what are you top five wishes, for teas and blends?Oh, gosh - geek related, chai, something lemony (ginger would be a plus) and something sweet

-Do you have anything that you do ritually, every summer? We used to go to the Ohio Ren Fair at the end of each summer, but we have not made it since having kids. Maybe in a couple years when both are older.

-What are your top five wishes from ThinkGeek?

Oh man, I'd love a sonic screwdriver (10 is preferred)

A tardis mug or cookie jar

Fun Geek T's

Beyond that it's hard to say.

-Seen anything lately that makes you go OH HOLY FUCK THAT'S AWESOME!! ?

Dyson commercial for a "vacuum" that also "mops" floors. The water & soap goes into one compartment, and the dirty water gets sucked into another so only CLEAN WATER gets used on the floor. You know you are a mother & a house wife when you drool more over that (or one of those robot-vacuums) than you do Hugh Jackman as wolverine without his shirt . .

Do you like audiobooks? If so, do you have/would you like to try Audible? (I'm an addict, myself.) Not so much.

Chocolate: Love? Hate? Allergic? If love, what are your faves?

DARK CHOCOLATE especially with almonds, pecans, cranberries in it

Wednesday June 26/13

Do you have any long trips coming up? If so, could you use things to occupy yourself?

No long trips and with 2 kids, a husband, part-time jobs & a house I have PLENTY to occupy myself with.

I'm going to Jungle Jim's next week (it's basically a massive international food gasm in Ohio, look it up); would anything interest you?Did you say food?? Hmmm . . do they have anything like garlic cheese? Or fresh-from-the-farm cheese? Specialty breads or chocolate stuff? or some good wine or mead?

Name three things that you could use, but might not necessarily think to get for yourself? Huh. I've THOUGHT about getting these things, but it's not likely to happen any time soon:

Salad spinner

Robot vacuum

MP3 Player

as for smaller/less expensive items? hmmm any thing on my amazon or etsy lists. OH! A simple shawl clip

Does anything from the TP Etsy update interest you?

Raspberry Thumbprint Cookie Bath Oil

Shortbread Snowflakes Bath Oil

Miskatonic Valley Yuletide Faire Atmosphere spray

Spider Silk Bath Oil

I just found out Oreo is launching ones with watermelon flavor in the USA only. Is it something you would enjoy? No thanks

What are the three BPALs you would most like to receive - one GC, one not-hard to find LE, and one HTF LE from your dreams?

TKO and something Lilith or a discontinued Mad Tea Party

So, dear witchee, would you like some Tw*twaffle soap or scent or lotion? I think that would be very fun to try!

Has anyone asked about tattoos? Do you love them? Hate them? Have any? Want any? Thought about it on more than one occasion, but in the past money & plans for teaching and/or church work kept me from doing it. Now my life has gone so many different and unexpected places that I don't think I could come up with something that I was certain I'd still like & want 20, 30, or 40 years from now.

Tuesday June 25/13

If you knit/crochet, what sizes of needles do you need? DPNs in almost any size above a 4

What styles of artwork do you like?

Van Gogh, Monet, Charles Vess, the Frouds, Keith Parkinson, Ansel Adams. There are many others, but it's hard for me to remember them!

If you cook, would you be interested in-hand made spice mixes/rubs?

YES!

The Conjure Oils update (http://conjureoils.com/emporium.htm) looks absolutely fabulous...I didn't know she made soaps and candles and whanot. Is there anything from the Oddment Emporium you would like?

If you think it has notes that I like and are so inclined, I'll enjoy trying something new.

What is your favorite color? Check my Q'aire

What is your favorite season? all of them

If you could live anywhere in the world and money was no object, where would it be? Do I have to choose one? I think I'd rather be a wealthy nomad than have one expensive home in a pricey location. Although, maybe someplace with reasonably warm (and safe) ocean beaches. My oldest daughter and I both loved swimming and playing in the ocean when we got the chance a couple of years ago.

Monday June 24/13

Do you have any symbols or totems that are meaningful to you?

Not really. I mean, I like a pretty cross (or sometimes a semi-realistic crucifix) and obviously that has meaning to me, but I'm not sure that's quite the same thing.

When you are having a really rough day, what do you like to do/have to make it a little brighter? Some combination of eat chocolate, knit, read, watch paranormal TV, take a long soak in the bath and/or mead or wine or hard cider.

Would you like if your witch sent a regional pop/soda? If so, what type (Root beer, creme soda, cola, citrus-flavored, chocolate-flavored, etc...)? not a cola. I do like the occasional root beer or cream soda & I love chocolate, although I've never tried a chocolate soda.

Ninjas or Pirates?

Werewolves or vampires?

Zombie or Cthulhu?

NO ZOMBIES! and I don't really get into Cthulhu very much. The others, it kind of depends on the "version" although I'd say that I probably prefer werewolves to the others.

Do you want to receive one big package or a bunch of small ones? Digital stuff all at the end when the box should arrive or as we go?

WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU!

Do you welcome knitted items? If so, what would you like most? (amigurumi, washcloth, socks, shawl, shawlette, scarf, wrist warmers, hat, etc.) Do you have any favorite fibers? How about any fiber allergies? Favorite color for knitted items?

YES! I knit, but often give away (or occasionally even sell) what I make. I love to get homemade things from others!

amigurumi (animals or TV/Sci-Fi characters, socks, shawl, shawlette, scarf, wrist warmers, hat, scarf, mittens, dish towels, purses, just about ANYTHING would set me squee-ing. If possible, I prefer machine washable. I love blues, purples, reds (esp. burgundy & wine shades) & pinks (but not fuchsia or pastel)

Sunday June 23/13

Is there a Quote that resonates with you, or that you particularly like a lot. Would this be something you would like artwork made of for your walls or a shirt/bag/scarf? The one on my signature. Also "From silly devotions and sour faced saints, Good Lord, deliver us!" (credited to St. Theresa of Avila)

Also, STARBUCKS, Yay or Nay? Anything you particularly like? TEA especailly chai and of course the sweets

Is there someone on the forums (within SW or not) who knows you really well and might be able to help with stalking? TheRhoda who unfortunately is not playing this round  but I'm sure she would help!

If you happen to find out who yours is, how much would it bother you? It would be a bit of a letdown to find out mid-round, but I'd get over it pretty quickly.

Do you use waxmelts or tarts? If so, which ones do you prefer? No

Do you enjoy drinking hot chocolate, and would you like stuff to make it with, or to add to it? YUMMY!

Have you ever tried Spoonfudge? Would you enjoy it if your Witch would send you some? Which of the flavors would you like? Never tried it, but it sounds fabulous! Cinnamon Snap!, Chocolate Mint, Brownie Cheesecake, Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Cherry, Ginger Pear, Chocolate Orange

What's your opinion on Moonalisa? Any favorites or products you'd like to try? I love the name  I've wanted to try some, but never got around to it.

Are there any BPALs that you loved the idea of, the imagery - whether artwork or description - but which didn't work out for you? (I'm asking because if they did, you might mention them elsewhere, but if not, the imagery might be helpful)

Nothing comes to mind . . .

Saturday June 22/13

Put your mp3 player/online music/itunes/etc on random and list the next 10 songs here:

MP3 player has been on my "I want to get" list for several years, but every time a B-day or whatever rolls around, there's always something else that needs dealt with instead. That said, the 10 CDs Ive most recently listened to are:

Deanna Witowski - From this place

Delta Rae - Carry the fire

Loreena Mckennit - Book of Secrets

Watoto Children's Choir - mambo sawa

Classical Mood - Tranquility

The Chieftains - Down the Old Plank Road

Ballydawse - Out of the Fertile Crescent

Cassanda Wilson - New Moon Daughter

Grace and Glory - Inspired

Eva Cassidy - Live at Blues Alley

what is your favourite object, that you own, ignoring sentimental reasons for attachment? So I guess something you find beautiful, or fun, or incredibly useful.

My winged wolf spirit-wolf-candle-lamp-2012.jpg I had stared at it for about 2 years every time I went into my favorite clothing store (a specialty imports shop that closed down a couple years ago) Finally my husband went and bought it for me.

How big is too big...for something to hang on your walls? If I'm painting you a pretty picture, are there maximum dimensions that you have/prefer?

hmmm, we moved at the beginning of the year & haven't gotten most of our wall stuff up yet, so it's hard to guesstimate how much room & where would be left BUT I think something in the 2 ft by 2 ft range - or smaller - could find a lovely place ;) And what a lovely gift that would be!

Gift cards/vouchers - yay or nay? If you like them - which stores would you like one for?[/font

Oh I love gift cards!

Target, Menard's, ten thousand villages, brother's drake mead, teavana, Trader Joe's, Global Gallery, Cold Water Creek, amazon.com, sockdreams.com, Zhena's Gypsy Tea, ThinkGeek, women's Bean Project, holy clothing, or anything else you think I might like.

Is there anything from Australia you would like? eg: snacks (yes, you can ask for Tim Tams!), books, magazines, memorabilia?

Tim Tams - and what were those things we talked about on the GUSP thread? Hedgehog things that were sort of like brownies? My daughter LOVES Aussie animals, so any postcards, picture books, magazines with animal pictures, etc would go over well. If you think I might like it, go for it :)

Do you have any problems with swearing or particularly off-color humor? AND What style is your sense of humour? I'm not sure how to describe my sense of humor. Hopefully you can stalk me enough to get some idea. I don't have a problem with swearing or off-color as long as it has a point, but I do need to be careful about what the children see & hear.

Opinions on table top games, from cards and board games, to dice and rpgs. What do you like? What don't you like? Favorites? Any classics you like? Do you collect any? I've always wanted to try RPG but never had the right group of people around when I actually had time to do it. Right now - the only table top games I'd get to do more than a couple times a year would be family games. Scrabble, yahtzee, Apples to Apples, chutes and ladders, candyland, etc. We have Uno & monopoly, but otherwise, gently used games are cool.

What would you like from the most recent BPAL update? What are you planning on buying for yourself and what would you like to try?

I have no plans to buy. Due to 2 child (born last September) and buying house (also last fall) I have not even glanced at updates in the past few years. So if you have anything from the past 2 years that matches my favorite notes list, feel free to pass it on!

Is there a literary character you identify with? Even if it's not spot-on, just someone you found yourself having that "I identify with this" feeling?

hmmm I think I read too many different books and series to go "Oh yeah, that's me"

What are the three books you most want to read right now, and which you don't already have?

Tempest Reborn (Jane True)by Nicole Peeler

Blood of Tyrants (Temeraire) by Naomi Novik [comes out later this summer]

Kitty in the Underworld (Kitty Norville)by Carrie Vaughn [comes out later this summer]

Also there are a few books by Gwen Hunter (these should be cheaper!)that I haven't been able to get my hands on:

False Truths

Betrayal (Delande Saga)

Stolen Children

Law Of The Wild (Delande Saga)

Blackwater Secrets

Ashes To Ashes

Would you like something from Empire Edibles? (http://www.etsy.com/...s?ref=top_trail)

OH MY! The Empress of India Fudge sounds AMAZING! So do the hot chocolates. Tea ruffles & blossom melts sound fun, and I wouldn't mind little "sample bits" of Spice Trail Fudge, Engineers Stout Fudge and/or Manly Marmite Hiking Fudge

Is there anything small you try to collect from everywhere you visit? not really. Postcards, sort of, but I have yet to figure out what to do with them!

Witchee, I know that SW isn't about what you get... but could you name one thing you would be heartbroken not to get and one thing you would be a-ok if it didn't make it in your box? (i.e. do you REALLY want perfume oil of some sort, or would you be totally heartbroken if there was no Lush in your box, etc

Uhm . . . I can't think of ONE thing, well, I guess if there wasn't ANYTHING smelly or bath & bodyish I might be disappointed, but Id get over it quickly enough ;) Same for dark chocolate.

Do you like tarot cards, pendulums and rune stones etc? If so, what type? No thank you

What fandoms do you belong to?Uhm, I don't "officially" belong to any, but my Q'aire should tell you all the geeky stuff I like.

What cheers you up? Getting to knit. Or sleep. eating good dark chocolate. Drinking mead. being with friends.

Who or where would you most want to haunt? Who would you least want to be haunted by? hmmm, can I haunt some place warm and exotic just because I never got to go there in life? As for least - I don't think I'd mind being haunted too much as long as it was low-key and friendly.

What question do you hate to answer? "Where do you see yourself in five (two, ten)years?" I've lived enough to know there is no way to predict that!

is the best compliment you have/could receive? "Miss Lisa, you're pretty good at this tutoring and teaching stuff. But you're too strict. You probably should work on that."

Would you like anything from an European country? Any particular food or goodies, magazines, books, whatever would be available to your witch in his/her country. Food, recipes, postcards, stuff with cool old buildings or neat local animals or festivals . . . ?

Do you like bags? If so, what type (rucksack, clutch, shopping bag) colour and would you like/need a new one? Oh I LOVE bags  I have tons. If you have/make something with a geek connection, that would be totally cool whatever style it was.

What's your favourite comfort food(snack or candy etc) and/or drink?

Dark chocolate. Herbal teas (often orange & spice types) hot chocolate, chai. Really good sourdough and/or garlic bread.

Would you be interested in someone writing out for you a favourite recipe, or finding or devising one which they think you'd like? If so, please provide your favourite ingredients, info on how you like to cook/store and use food, and any intolerances - unless all of these are in your questionnaire, or you don't like the idea. (I'm not saying I'd definitely do this, unless someone is keen, and it wouldn't be the only gift). I guess for other witches this might include something like a knitting pattern - not my thing but would you like that? Or indeed would you like a picture created for you (if so what kind) or a story written? (sorry if this feels a bit Spanish Inquisition!)

I'd love recipes, foody info, patterns, pictures, stories WHATEVER I love all of that sort of thing, and you should find my likes/dislikes dealt with pretty well in the ?aire

If you knew you were going to live comfortably for say 800 years, what profession, calling or project might you pursue with some of your extra years, which you imagine you may not do in the life that you have?

Music

Crafting

writing

Getting that @&$%^ Master's in Special Ed and teaching & researching in that area until I could start the "perfect" school for kids with ADHD/emotional/behavioral/learning disorders

Might even go into politics - to deal mostly with education, poverty, and budgetary issues. I don't think I'd touch politics with a ten foot pole if I had less than 100 years to do what I LOVE as well as dealing with massive headaches to work for what I love in that arena.

Is there any thing - an object, a donation on your behalf, some research done for you, whatever - that your witch could do about this that you would like? And if you can't think of a present, would you rather she/he (I!) didn't either and confined themselves to things you are already involved in?

If you check out Amazon, you'll see that I love donations to KIVA, PBS(and our local station), and NPR (and "my" station, 90.5 FM)

What colors/style is your kitchen decor? And do you entertain in your home?

If by entertain you mean inviting friends over in a fairly casual setting, yes. If you mean Entertaining with a capital E and a whole lot of work, then no  Our kitchen is light colored wood & white/off white appliances with light blue walls.

Are your ears pierced? Yes

Do you like stuffies/stuffed animals/art doll type thingies? If so, any particular type you'd love to get? Anything related to my favorite TV series & other fandoms would be ultra cool. As for animals: wolves, dolphins, bears, the smaller wildcats, cute and/or realistic bats. Really, anything you make (or get someone else to make) for me will have me going "WOW this is so neat!"

Switch Witch is, of course, all about you.....but if your Witch was so inclined, are there wee little ones in your home that will get jealous and are just too young to understand why you won't share the love, who maybe need a touch of Witchee love all their own, to distract them while you hide all your lovelies?!?

Baby N is 9 months old. So if you WANT to send a children's book or a teddy bear, that's cool but certainly not necessary. Elder daughter L is 4 and a half and loves ponies, princesses, candy, koala, polar & panda bears and fairies. That being said - it wouldn't hurt her to have another chance to learn that gifts aren't always for her. So please don't feel like you HAVE to send her something :)

Thursday June 20/13

Do you read literature/culture blogs or websites of any kind? I'm thinking about anything that would help a putative witch to get a sense of what your current tastes in books, movies, games, genres, approaches to culture and literature and so forth are Not really.

How do you feel about traditional picnics (namely the intimate table for two variety)? Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)?

We have an old-fashioned picnic basket as well as a couple of very nice thermals.

If you were put in a room with 100 random other people the same age and sex as you, from your country, in what way do you think you would be different from the average?

uhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm

Define average

Haus of Gloi did a Reverie update! Do any of them interest you? (Or anything else up currently?)

Always up to try new things if you have something you think I'd like.

Witchee, do you cook? Do you do all the cooking? Is it a chore or a pleasure? I do most of the cooking (i.e. anything that doesn't involve going out to eat) and if I am well-rested and not stressed it is often a joy. However, trying to come up with healthy, yummy, and reasonably easy dinners each night often becomes a chore.

Which reading level do you prefer to read in YA or Adult? Or even both?

Both, although primarily adult.

Wednesday June 19/13

If you could have one rare bpal which one would you choose?

I really don't know. There are so many!

Do you enjoy scented candles? Certain sizes that you like? What kind of scents or brands? I do; my husband doesn't. I like primarily vanillas and lavenders.

Thoughts about South Africa? Have you been here, would you like to go? Would you like to receive anything South African?

I love the pictures I've seen of Capetown - the cliffs, the ocean! I've never been outside of the US (and parts of Canada) and I am very open to having special somethings (postcard, food, recipe, fabric or yarn, art work . . .?) from different places

Do you like Sockdreams? If so, what styles would you prefer? (You can also link your wishlist.) I've marked a few things on my amazon list from them.

Do you need hair accessories? If so, what kind or color? Not really.

What is your favorite shade of blue? just about all of them. I wear denim A LOT and a couple of the rooms in our house are light blue. I use Navy where other people might use black.

Do you have any kitchen gadgets (a SodaStream, a Kuerig/Tassimo) that you want mix things for? not really

If you were to start learning something new (intellectual or craft or hobby), what would it be? I have plans to learn crochet next summer. I'd also like to learn a few languages if I really had the time (Spanish, Chinese, Greek, Latin, Aramic, Hebrew)

What about candy? Do you have a sweet tooth? Chocolate.

Do you have an e-reader? What kind? Would you like to get ebooks? I have a very basic Sony E-Reader. I'd like to get some of MeiLin's (she's one of us & knows all about SW!)things and I enjoy having knitting books/patterns (all mine have been from the library so far!)

MeiLin's store

in order of interest

Fears Moon Woman

Accounts

The Gratification Engine

The Machine God

If your witch is an extremely crafty sort, and she were to send all kinds of homemade foody goodies and handmade crafty stuff - what are items you would NOT LOVE to receive. Please dont hedge on this one...some of us are serious crafters and will be making most of what we send! The only things I can think of that I WOULDN'T want would be A)some thing with peppers or some other previously mentioned dislike or B)something that was just too big

Witchee dear, do you like video games? Not really

Do you have something you do, without fail, as a personal daily habit/ritual? (Examples: pen-and-paper journal keeping, tea/coffee drinking, morning yoga, nightly bedtime reading. I'm kind of thinking on things that would be dear to you and might need small supplies or could use certain extras. ) Drink tea - especially in the morning. Eat 3 meals and probably some snacks. take care of the kids. If I can - I LOVE being able to knit and/or read before bed.

Do you wear nailpolish? ? No

Name three BPAL scents you have tried, but are dying to get more of.

TKO, agape, and the dark chocolates

Do you still write real letters on nice stationary to people you like/love?

very rarely.

Have you ever tried anything from Paintbox Soapworks? Which products or scents would you prefer? LOVE THEM especially fond of the scrubs & body butters - want to try the bath streusel & scent balms.

Bluebird in the lilacs, bramble & apple, candy floss, avast, halcyon, nekisse, crofter, whiskers, second breakfast, the natural, lavender truffle, miss ada, silken peony, blackbird

Do you like/have space to garden? If so, what do you grow?

I hope to this coming fall purchase & plant some bulbs (tulips? the house "came with" daffodils. What else do you plant in the fall?) and then do some more work next spring. Favorite flowers include lavender, lilacs, snapdragons, peonies, and violets. If we do a food garden it would probably include tomatoes - beyond that I'm not certain.

Do you like sample sized things? Think lipgloss, mascara, bodylotion, scrubs, mini candles, and so forth.

YES! Those can be sooooo fun!

Have you tried Fortune Cookie Soap? What products or scents would you like?

Never heard of them before, but always willing to try something new!

Do you use solid soaps at all? If so, what kind do or don't you like?

I use a lot of soap & scrubs from PaintboxSoapWorks (and very occasionally Lush) I love how they work for me, how they smell, and the fact that every purchase helps a friend live her dream

Have you ever tried Cocoa Pink? If you are curious about it, what looks interesting to you?

Huh. I'd never heard of it before. Soft Bubbles Sugar Scrub, Voluptuous Body Butter, underArm Candy Deodorant, Luxurious Bath Salts and Touchy Oil Cleanser (oily) sound really interesting

Do you like Lush? If so, what is your favorite product that is currently available, also, what is a product that you love but has been discontinued?

I do like Lush, but I've only ever had a few things from there. If you go with my favorite perfume notes, you should be able to pick out something I'd like

Are there any companies, products, or items you boycott? I'm not a fan of WalMart, but I have been known to go there or Sam's on occasion, just the same.

As I am in Japan, what sort of things would you like from there? Any cute or clever or cool thing that you think I might like. Food, recipes, postcards, . . . ?

Dr Who?

YES! And if you don't know this, you haven't been stalking me AT ALL

How much do you like lipbalm? Flavored or unflavored? What are your favorite brands and flavors? I've enjoyed some things from mylipstuff.com vanilla, chai, lavender, chocolate, apple are all good flavors.

Do you like and wear lipgloss? If yes, what colours? I've been trying out some different shades of red, burgandy & wine

Your feelings on Adagio teas: If you've never had anything from them, would you be open to trying them? If you HAVE had them and like them, name some favorites blends. And if you had them and dislike them, can you name a few *other* tea companies you're into?

I don't know that I have major favorites - I'd like to try adagio, I know I love Zhena's Gypsy, but I tend to drink whatever I can get on sale.

What about coffee?

Just tea, thanks!

Who is your favourite female of all time? Historical, literary, ANYTHING, and why? I have to pick one? If I ignore all the truly worthy women of history, literature, and science and go for fandoms I can pick an answer:

Alexa Kingston as River Song. She's sassy, smart, tough and OH THAT HAIR!

If you were a Disney princess you would be?:

Belle, she was a bookworm

Would you like a seashell from Florida?

perhaps a postcard, but a shell would most likely end up broken in this house.

What craft project do you currently have on your docket or that you want to start? And that craft goodies would be welcome? [/font

 I always have about 10 that I am trying to decide on when it's time to pick a new one and I usually have at least 2 at any time - a "big" project (currently knitting my first blanket) and a smaller portable one (Currently working on a summer wrap)

On the wait list are:

Christmas bulb ornaments,

Doctor Who "Weeping Angels" as Christmas ornaments (no pattern yet)

My own - for me - version of a Dr Who/Tom Baker scarf

Christmas hats for the family (hopefully in time for a family Christmas pix, but the yarn I ordered sent me a notice that it was going to be BACK-ORDERED GRRRR! I may need more worsted Red, Green & White yarns for the hats.

assorted flowers & IPad/Phone covers for my etsy store

For sewing I have some baby blocks all cut out & ready to sew and stuff, some car-visor-covers that need to be started for Hub's b-day, some T-shirt that are almost ready to cut, materials for a bunch of baby bibs, and a book on sock puppets & toys that I want to start experimenting with.
