wow, that's a lot of questions already.... side note - no hairsticks or anything for long hair now. i chopped it all off! it's like an inch long except for the bangs. so, cute clips, barrettes, bobby pins i can still wear. sticks, big clips, etc. are out.

--

Do you like s'mores and s'mores-flavored things?

Silly question. That’s one of the few chocolate-y things I adore.

--

What's the neatest freebie you've gotten? It can be cool or thoughtful or just totally unexpected, and not limited to BPALdom.

*half a freaking bottle* of Candles Moon 2012 from a certain turtle. Omg, I loves the precious…. i neeeeed more.

--

Would you enjoy receiving cute but useful items like colorful kitchen utensils/gadgets, or bento supplies? (boxes, chopsticks, accessories, etc?) What about things like spice mixes (homemade, or Penzey's for example)

most definitely. I <3 bento supplies and I’d love some *nice* chopsticks and a bento box. And I’m a nut for spices, plain or mixes – however, if it involves cumin or cilantro, it won’t leave the cabinet. I can’t stand either one. I love love love middle eastern, japanese, and greek flavor palates, btw. Also, medieval ones, but those are kinda hard to find sometimes. Oh, and I desperately need a new tea ball. ;-)

--

Do you like cute, seasonal or fluffy PJ bottoms? Like they sell at Target, Old Navy (they have had cute Halloween ones!) If so, what size do you wear?

indeed I do… but in size FAT, aka women’s 2x or 3x. I love *dark colored* halloweenie ones – nothing floofy and girly, please… well, other than hello kitty. >.<

--

What kind of chocolate do you like? Nuts, no nuts, white, dark, etc?

Not all that big on chocolate, but milk and white I do like. Almonds, pecans, cashews, or hazelnuts (omg, hazelnuts…), orange flavor (no crèmes), and caramel (regular and salted), bacon (if it’s *REAL*-no ‘bacon flavored’. Faves are stuff like chocolate oranges, salted caramel truffles, Ferrero Rocher truffles, nutella, and turtles. Only candy, though. I don’t like most chocolate baked goods – no chocolate chip cookies here. Won’t eat dark chocolate at all – I don’t like the bitterness.

--

I live near a Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Penzeys! What does your little heart desire from any or all of these places?

Dunno, as I’ve never been to a trader joe’s or penzey’s, whole foods… I dunno. Essential oils are good – orange, lemon, tea tree, cajeput, eucalyptus, lavender, chamomile, any carrier oils… and if anyone can find me some *real* Jaffa Cakes, I’ll love them forever.

---

Are home made foods acceptable or does the idea of eating strange mailed food disturb you?

if it’s preserved/packaged properly, go for it.

---

I just gave you $20 and sent you into a "has everything" store ala Walmart and told you that you have to come out having spent it all, and none of it on anything you need. What would you buy? Be as specific as possible!

hrm… *good* nail polish and halloween/hello kitty socks, probably.

---

What kind of cuisines do you like? (I mentioned this in my ?aire but curious what my witch may like)And, what are your favorite restaurants?

Japanese, Thai, Greek, Middle Eastern (esp. Moroccan). I couldn’t give you a favorite restaurant because I don’t eat out very often.

---

is there anything specifically a witchee might like that is only available in canada?

I honestly can’t think of anything that’s only available in canada that I’d want.

---

What are your "fandoms" and would you like a t-shirt from TeeFury if an appropriate one came up?

Dr. Who (9th Dr. FTW), Firefly, HP Lovecraft/Cthulhu, generic tabletop gaming (especially about neutral/evil/chaotic stuff or related to ‘misunderstood’ characters-there’s one I’ve been wanting that says ‘I’m *NOT* a necromancer… I don’t care what you *heard*.’), zombies, hello kitty (and any combinations of my other fandoms), nightmare before xmas, pirates, Futurama, batman, x-men

---

Do you have an eReader and if so which one?

I have a kindle and a tablet pc. The kindle is my baby.

--

Do you like candles, or tart burners, or something? If so, what's your favorite scent to burn?

I don’t have a tart burner but I’d use one. I love candles, though. My favorite scents so far are Fireside, Leaves, or Autumn from B&BW.

--

Marzipan? Meh.

--

Would you be interested in washable/reusable muslin “paper” towels (basically muslin squares hemmed around the edge)?

Maybe in some sort of box to put on your kitchen or bathroom counter?

sure. they make great tea/spice bags, too.

--

Do you drink alcohol and if so, would you be OK with your witch sending you homemade infused vodka? Also, does your state allow alcohol to be shipped through the mail?

nom nom nom. I luff pepper and fruity ones. WV looks like it’s ok.

---

If you get me (or a fellow Aussie, if there are any playing this round) as a witch or witch's minion, would you like to try some Australian specialties, such as TimTams (delicious chocolately cookies), Caramello Koalas (koala shaped chocolates filled with gloopy caramel), Australian native spices or anything like that?

sure. Spices and anything caramel are my friends.

---

If your witch is a knitter, crocheter or sewer, is there a particular type of garment you would love to receive (hat, scarf, wrap, cowl, socks, fingerless gloves, arm warmers etc)?

sooooocks for my big ass feet. That and a beret and any of the dr. who stuff on my ravelry page. I’d love the oncoming storm fingerless glove thingies and the bigger on the inside shawl.

---

Is there anyone else in your house (kids, pets, partner) that would really appreciate a small gift being included for them in the switchwitchy haul so they don't feel left out?

5 year old daughter who loves fruity candies esp. strawberry – not gummies, though – and is obsessed with hello kitty, strawberry shortcake, Brave, and spongebob.

---

Since it's been mentioned several times, and I've also offered to nacho witch some, would you you like to receive wild rice and or maple syrup? I promise to include recipe ideas with the wild rice.

hmm… eeeenteresting. Sure!

---

I have 5 bushels of tomatoes sitting in the kitchen right now that are supposed to turn into red sauce tomorrow, so would anyone like a basic red sauce (spaghetti sauce) to make its way to them?

please?

---

How would you feel about a taste of (insert witch location here) box?

that’d be kinda nifty.

---

Last year, my wonderful witch Alethia adopted a bat for me from batworld.org, a bat rescue and sanctuary. Bat's World Would you be interested in having a bat adopted in your name?

That’d be cool. I’ve been trying to teach the monkey that just because it’s not something you can sit and pet, doesn’t mean it’s not a nice animal or doesn’t serve a purpose. Even though I’m terrified of spiders, they still *do* something useful.

---

Some of your favorite artists? Classic and modern?

Luis Royo (Moonlight is one of my faves), Gorey, Giger (I *love* the Li stuff), Waterhouse (I’d love a print of La Belle Dame Sans Merci or The Lady of Shalott), Leighton (The Accolade and Godspeed), Tom Sullivan (did all of the monsters for The Evil Dead – great artwork too.)

---

If you could have an image or certain subject painted for you on any type of "canvas" (on a box, on paper, on a canvas, and so on) - could you point your witch to some of these images?

Search ‘lovecraftian’ on google images and you’ll get an idea. Lots of muted colors, odd greens and browns, tentacles, angles that aren’t supposed to exist. That kind of stuff.

---

Is there a GC scent that's been on your list for ages but keeps falling off the bottom of your order because of the LEs?

Deadly Nightshade Honey, The Black Rider, Depraved, and Poisoned Apple

---

I've been getting into indie nail polish brands recently. What's your favorite indie brand of nail polish? Or what's your favorite mainstream brand of nail polish? Or are you not big on polish?

I honestly haven’t ever tried any of the indie nail polishes. The ones I usually get are Finger Paints, Orly, OPI, and China Glaze. I’ve been kind of eyeballing the magnetic nail polishes – seems like fun. Also, I *mostly* do metallics – no glitter. And I do NOT wear pink, yellow, orange, or gold polish. Usually purple, blue, red, bronze, or silver, although I’m on the lookout for the nifty purple-green I saw once upon a time.

---

Stuffed things: yea or nay?

only if they’re weird. ;) I saw a pattern for a knitted Beholder I’d love to have… and the little knitted Dr. Who (again, 9th Dr.) and Rose Tyler and Daleks!

---

mix-in-a-jar? How to you feel about cookie or cake or soup mixes that come in jars and you just add, like, an egg or water or what have you?

Soups and stuff, yes. Cookies, probably not. I can make those myself.
