Notes
Notes of DOOM: Red musk, ginger, rose, cassia, rose otto, neroli, pine, lemon verbena, butter, attar of rose, rose musk (uh, anything with "rose" in it, usually), gunpowder, juniper berry, cedar, ozone, caramel, butterscotch
Notes I usually avoid but I'm not sure they're bad: Myrrh, yuzu, frangipani, civet, clove, tuberose, ylang-ylang, absinthe, labdanum, frankincense, anything scorched, charred, ashy or brimstone-y, Lily of the Valley, copal, moss, brown musk, fir, hyssop, sage, coriander, fennel, dragon's blood, rosehips, champagne, opium, opoponax, olibanum, balsam, ozone, galangal, ambergris, metal, stone, juniper, any geranium, hemlock, spikenard, bay, balm of gilead
Iffy: Amber, coffee, rum, black musk, dark musk, chocolate, general "woods" notes, grapefruit, benzoin, leather, cider, vetiver, patchouli, osmanthus, opium, wine, grape, dirt, loam, black pepper, kush
Neutral (can work in things- I don't seek it out or actively avoid it): Jasmine, oakmoss, palm, musks otherwise not mentioned, honey, champaca, smoke, aquatic, lavender (herbal), lotus, hazelnut, plant leaves of any type, machta, grass, sandalwood (iffy in that it can go dusty), white pepper, pink pepper, brandy, chamomile
Really like: White musk, sweeter lavender, violet, lemon, sugar, skin musk, exotic musks, apple, orange citrus, pink grapefruit, gardenia, apricot, mint, orchid, iris, tea, green tea, almond, fig, peach, bergamot, tonka, anise, cucumber, pumpkin, davana, rice flower, apple blossom, nectarine, various and sundry other fruits
Even if I hate all the other notes, these notes have me longing to try a blend: Lime, vanilla (in all forms), carnation, coconut, pear, orris root, strawberry, tobacco (flower, leaves, whatever), sugared florals, violet, cognac, watermelon, melon in general, lilac, saffron, honeycomb, teak, hazel wood, cacao, sweet pea, white peach, cream, plum, vanilla orchid, custard
