Do you need any winter wear, witchee? NEEEEEEED? No, but that doesn't mean I don't LOVE scarves, sweaters, gloves, hats, etc. And actually, some long-sleeved shirts would probably be great.

 

Do you like scary books? What's the best/scariest thing you've ever read? Currently reading some by Micheal Koryta. Love Stephen King. The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson made me shiver in braod daylight. And, after reading the first of those vampire/zombie books by Guillermo Del Toro I decided they were so good/bad I would have to wait for the completed series to be out before I could deal with reading them.

 

So I was at Uwajimaya the other day and saw Earl Grey Tea Chocolate and Cinnamon Chocolate.

 

would you still want the project if it was a craft fail???? YES!! It's the thought that counts AND it would not be the first time a crafter thought "FAIL!" and someone else thought "oooo that's perfect!"

CHOCOLATE! Uhm .. . like a chocolate cookie with dark chocolate chips and some sort of fruit and/or nuts added (or lavender)? But really, if there is chocolate involved with the cookie it is hard to go wrong in my opinion.

 

How do you feel about loose leaf tea in baggies? SURE! just please label it so I know what it is & roughly what is in it.

 

How would you feel about getting a custom poster with your favorite quote on it and some cool graphics? That would be really cool! Granted, I'd have to store it until we finally move out, but it would be wonderful!

Wow! I really can't narrow that one down. I did especially enjoy fresh seafood at this place in Galveston TX, but I've also enjoyed Ethiopian at the Blue Nile and grilled cheese that had come fresh from the farm b-4 I grilled it and venison burger and stew and all sorts of chocolate things . . .

hmmmm sample sized items or home-made items that are similar to something on one of my wishlists is always a big win. Baked goods (made by self, minion, or nacho) are also always wonderful If you are into knitting and/or sewing and have some "extra" supplies lying around I'd probably be ecstatic to get them. Have I mentioned that my knitting needles are all currently borrowed form my mom? She SAYS she's going to start knitting and/or crocheting again and when/if that happens I will need needles of my own so if you or a friend have any extra needles. And I believe that I have covered elsewhere the fact that virtually ANY Fisher Price Little People that are lying around no-longer-loved in your/your sib's/your parents'/your friends' basement etc would be lovingly washed up and played with and squeed over . . . .

 

Are you musically inclined? Do you play an instrument or sing? If so, what?

Sing soprano and/or alto, play around with my guitar occasionally. "Direct" the church's praise team. Wish for chances to sing non-church music with other musicians (just for fun) since my favorite monthly music & mead night got canceled due to changes in the meadery's administrative side . . .

What is something people are always surprised to learn about you? Totally depends on where they know me from. If they meet me at church, they might be surprised to find out how much I like SciFi or that I have a favorite Mead place or that I have a lot of friends of other faiths/paths. If I meet them at the Mead place they might be surprised (at first) to find out I go to church. Republican friends are surprised to learn of my Democrat and/or Socialist leanings and Democrat friends are surprised to learn of my republican leanings (I am an Independent who cannot find a party to like, let alone love, because my beliefs do not follow party lines by a long shot)

BTW - yes, I have multiple wishlists from a variety of places and most of them are VEERRRYY LOOOOONNNNNNGGGGg. Please do not be intimidated. This means that there are a host of things at a variety of price levels that I would be ecstatic to get. And that means ANY ONE or TWO items from those lists would have me jumping up & down & squeeing. So whatever works for you. And "Almost like" items usually work too. IE if you think you or a friend can make it yourself or if you get a Ghirdelli chocolate bar instead of the more expensive fair trade ones I have mentioned on the amazon list. SO have fun!

A really long & undisturbed bath in lovely-smelling stuff with a book, tea & some chocolate to enjoy while I'm there.

How do you feel about stuffed animals/plushies/general soft, cuddly things? If you like them, what kind of animals would you be interested in?

If it's something interesting that is similar to an item on a wishlist, or a "favorite" mentioned in the blog or ?aire, then yes. But stuffed animals just for the sake of cute things, not as much. IE, not so much into random teddy bears, but would LOVE gryphons, dragons, kestrels, dragonfly, etc

 

Would you be interested in a handmade bookmark? Sure!

 

 

Interested in anything from Lush? Always wanted to try their stuff, especially the bath bombs or bubble-y things.

 

What are your views on fudge and brownies? , Fudge, brownies, cookies - If there is Chocolate than IT IS GOOD! ust don't send before mid-October to be safe temps-wise

My favorite is Brother Drake's Mead, which you will not be able to get unless you also live in central Ohio (or are taking a trip here) However I am up for trying anything that's not tooooo strong. I like many wines (red & white) as well as mead, but have not been too fond of Vodka (unless mixed with something yummy)

 

 

Would you be interested in a felted handbag? Do any of these styles appeal to you?

I love long "handles" & bold/funky colors so with that in mind, (check to post for links to which ones I prefer)

Witchee, have you made (or are you planning to make) any Lab or Trading post orders soon? No,although I just got the final box in a circular swap & that will change my wishlist. I'll try to take care of that no later than Saturday (9/24)

 

 

Do you have any interest in rocks? Not like, polished colorful stones.. but like... rocks. With geologic significance! IT would be cool,but not sure what I would do with them.

 

If your witch were to knit you a scarf/shawl/cowl, which would you prefer, and what features would you want? Oh,any any anything! I love it all! I will say that I haven't currently got any cowls & I have fewer shawls than scarves. Plenty of color ideas on my various wishlists (and the "good for 90% of my outfits denim blue") light, drape-y & pretty would be awesome but used less regularly than the equally awesome thick, warm, practical & washable.

 

pet Wach, the zebra finch looks like most other male silver/brown zebra finches.

 

Do you like/own/wear/want fairy wings or something of the like? I've contemplated it. Really don't have any place to wear them to is the thing, and so I never spend the money. Although i could always hang them on the wall as decoration and wear them when trick-r-treating with the kiddo each year & that would be neat!

 

How do you feel about terrariums? IF we have our own place before the end of the round I say AWESOME other wise I have to bow to the practical lack of space issues . . .

Paintbox soapworks sample-sized soaps & the scrubs which I use for shaving, Burt's Bees hand or foot cream and lip balm, Bagged teas (celestial seasonings, Zhena Gypsy, stash and even Lipton) and chocolate, cheese and hummus are pretty close to every day foods for me . . and Kashi go-lean cereal.

what's your personal art style? Either I get an idea based off of an object (ie a purse, scarf, or whatever) a fabric/material or a project for a specific person. Then I start plotting & creating through trial and error. I sew & knit currently.
