Do you like to burn incense? If so, what are your favorite kinds...sticks? cones? resins? What are your favorite scents?

 

I like good incense. I am in the incense swap too. I like FRed Soll, but don't need any, as I live near the Fred Soll factory. I like Airs. I love, love the good Japanese incense. I prefer sticks, though loose incense resins will get a lot of use in the winter, as I throw it on my woodstove. I like resins, sandalwood, wood scents, sage, tea, etc. No fruit or florals though nag champa is tolerable.

Is there a particular myth/folktale/legend/fairytale/godstory that you're drawn to? I love, love love myth and fairy tales. Any and all (though I don't like the disneyfied versions of them. Little Red Riding Hood is a favorite, and I love Kitsune stories and Japanese fairy tales and also African ones.

 

 

 

 

When you are having a really rough day, what do you like to do/have to make it a little brighter? A bath with bubble bath

 

 

 

 

What are your thoughts on comics? Any you like? Any you have been wanting to try? Favorite characters? I like some, but don't know them that well. I like the Walking Dead series.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Does anyone garden? And if you do, what do you grow? If not, would a starter garden kit be something you'd be interested in?

 

 

 

 

I do garden. I have tomatoes and herbs still going right now. I also have an aerogarden that it's about time to plant lettuce in now that I think about it. I like herbs, some flowers, and heirloom tomatoes! My gardening situation is somewhat complicated though: I live in the very arid SW, at high elevation, so I have to have things that are both drought tolerant and can tolerate cold. My vegies I grow in special sub-irrigating planters on the deck (or in the aerogarden inside). I also have to be careful things aren't poisonous as my dogs tend to eat my plants!

 

 

 

 

Do you decorate for Halloween? Is your decorating taste elegant, kitschy and fun, or scary?

 

I don't really decorate, but I love halloween stuff, esp. skeletons/skulls and bats, and some stuff is fun to put up.

 

 

 

 

Witchee, do you have any symbols or totems that have special meaning for you?

 

 

 

 

Yes. Ravens, foxes, owls for animals. Skeleton keys. Vodou veves, esp. for Legba and Mama Brigitte.

From the Weenie Update....what are you most wanting to try? I put a list of things I'm interested in in my wishlist.

 

 

 

 

Who's into nail polish? What colors/brands? I like nail polish and keep my toenails painted. I like dark reds and brighter reds that have a blue undertone, purple, brown, copper/gold. I like Sally Hansen, but am open to anything.

 

 

 

 

Is there a quote (or lyric or part of a poem) that really resonates with you or is your favorite?

 

 

 

 

Dream candle? Scent, color, type (tealight, votive, pillar, jar, etc.), throw...

 

I love candles and always need them. Mostly I need votives, which is how I refill my saints candles. I LOVE soy candles or beeswax, but because I go through so many, I dont just get this type, which are more expensive. I LOVE Pacifica candles for fancy scented candles, and my favorite one from them is Tibetan Temple. But I'd be thrilled with ANY candles!

 

 

 

 

Do you like knitted goodies? If so, what would you like and what colors? Oh yes! I'm in the scarf swap right now! I would love socks! I would love fingerless gloves or arm warmers! The scarf is probably covered, but elsewhere on my blog you'll see related answers about that. I like red (darker red with blue undertones), and all jewel colors. Purple, rich green or moss green, rich browns, black of course, autumn colors, greys.

 

 

 

 

Would you be interested in homemade edibles that are NOT sweets? Any specifics? Sure! Not sure what that would be, but I'm game. I love bread. Sourdough esp. I like salty things.

I've got the boxes covered,but man, my imps are out of control. So that might be useful. Also, I have long wanted a padded container like those that EOs are kept in to take bottles while traveling. You can see some on my Amazon wishlist if you don't know what I mean.
