(they are all reasonably priced of course! ~$20 or less apiece). What are they? Maybe some of the things on my Etsy list? I really love the hot air balloon cards. And there's a couple of things I think are awesome (like the vintage tomato shaped teapot and the apothecary bottles) that won't ship here. But that's probably because they weigh a ton and would cost lots to ship here, I guess :/ Umm. Somebody else mentioned stitch markers (for knitting) in cute animal shapes, which sound awesome and I've never seen them here. Also, I love stuff like old maps, coloured illustration plates from old books, stuff like that you sometimes see in junk stores or garage sales.

 

how do you feel about hemp? jewelry, soap, etc? I haven't tried a lot of hemp stuff, but I like The Body Shop's hemp hand cream. And I love Banshee Beat and I think that has a strong hemp component. So I'm hemp positive, I guess.

Describe your sense of humour. I did the quiz thing and I came out as 'The Wit'. I like that caustic sort of British humour, but I also laugh at really dumb things a lot. If you've ever seen the French movie Tais Tois, it's total slapstick and just silly really, but I about killed myself laughing the first time I saw it. And I used to love Scrubs before it got too ridiculous.

I put up quotes I love in my office and studio to get me going, They range from goofy to sarcastic to inspirational... Are you interested in a hand painted quote? Do you have one in mind, or a topic in mind? That would be cool. I would like "I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky". I love the first line of that poem and it makes sense to me, because I always feel calmer and recharged after being by the ocean. And oddly, the more grey and empty and stormy it is, the better I like it.

This is actually not at all representative of most of the artwork I like, but it is representative of the kind of artwork I'd like to smell.

Would you like a project-type gift that allowed you do do something like make soap from scratch, take and (nontoxic-ly) develop photographs using a pinhole camera, use plant dyes on yarn or fabric, etc.? Would you like any ecotools makeup brushes? They're kinda one of my favorite things ever, and they're animal-friendly and the handles are bamboo. And to top it all off, they work really well for applying makeup. Yes! I have one of their big powder brushes and I like it.

 

Do you like Legos? Especially mini-fig key chains, Lego block keychains, small Lego sets, etc? Not especially, I stabbed my feet on my brother's Lego bricks enough as a child that I now have kind of an aversion.

 

Since the previous question about "what would you buy from the Lab if you had unlimited funds, etc" left WAY too much to the imagination with no limitations (my answer was pretty much BUY ALL THE THINGS!), what would you do if you found a $50 bill on the ground and a nagging voice in the back of your mind told you that you HAD to spend it on BPAL or else face Death. Also, say they had free shipping (LOL) so don't factor that in. What would you get? And spend it all! Or as close to $50 as you can get. A couple of the Klimt salons.

How do you feel about franken polish? Are you okay with all chemicals, or would you prefer 3 free? Would you want glitter or holographic glitter? What colors would interest you? I like nail polish, though I've never had any custom frankened for me. I'd be glad to try it. I'm not too sensitive to chemicals and I'm amenable to glitter content.

 

Dear witchee, how do you feel about lip balm? Favorite style (twist up tube, pot, tube with wand, etc.)? Favorite flavors? Flavors to avoid? Favorite brand? Do you need more right now or are you set? Are you one of those people who could never have enough lip balm even though you have a bowl on your dresser overflowing with them and 10 in your purse and an order for more on the way? Would you be interested in getting fountain pen inks or art supplies via JetPens and or DickBlick?

Yes! Both! I especially love the kind of fountain pen (I bought one in Germany years ago then lost it and cried) that doesn't take cartridges, but you insert the nib into a bottle of ink and twist a thingy on the base and it sucks the ink up into a barrel. I've never, ever seen those here, and they are awesome because I cannae be doing with fiddly little ink cartridges that get lost and leak and dry out.

 

For those interested in watercolors, how would you feel about getting a palette filled with paint from my watercolor tubes but not getting the paint itself?

I like to paint but I've never really got into a groove with watercolours. I suppose I should experiment more.

I have a MacBook Pro (15" I think? The smaller one, anyway). I don't have any peripherals, because I tend to just use it when I'm slobbing around on the couch or in bed.
