For those who like lipgloss, lipstick, tinted balms, etc, what colors do you wear (and warm? cool?) and do you prefer something sheer or more opaque? How do you feel about shimmer?

I like sheer pinks and purples and dislike peach. I *adore* shimmer.

Are there any fancy/gourmet/special herbs or spices that you'd love to receive? ie: good quality vanilla or other extracts, vanilla beans, saffron, lavender, etc.

I don't cook much but do love doing up a tray of roast vegetables. Anything garlic-based would be super.

What's your favorite animal? Or is there one that's particularly significant to you?

Well, I have a cat, I love bats, and both birds and horses are sacred to my patron Goddess, Rhiannon. In fact though I really like all animals a great deal (hence the vegetarianism).

If you were able to get a vintage or prototype bottle from the upcoming West Coast Will Call, which one would you want?

Oh my goodness, I'm not sure what all is in there. Someone mentioned Victorian Rosewater or something and that caught my eye; anything vaguely elf-related would have me over the moon too.

DVDs, Blu-Ray, both, neither?

DVDs should be fine; I play everything through VLC on my laptop

Sock Dreams? What kind? (anklets, footies, etc.?)

I love sock dreams. I've had a craving lately for stripey knee-highs.

Since this is a price capped round, would you rather get one "big" thing or lots of "little" things or don't care?

I don't care I'm anti knick-knacks and tat though....

I do like soap a lot, but it costs such a bomb to ship over here. I haven't tried *any* BPTP soaps yet, but someday I'd like to.

What periods of art do you love most? Like, if someone was going to get you a tapestry or a box or some other item, what period would you want it to most resonate with? the pinks and golds of Rococo? the clean geometry of Art Deco? The romanticism of Art Nouveux? The strange lines of Cubism?

I love medieval art and dreamy pre-Raphaelite things.

I probably drink enough coffee but....wouldn't say no Sometimes I need a boost to get me through my afternoon baby classes! I've eyeballed the caffeinated Nixie sticks at Thinkgeek too.

I grew up within a few hours of Orlando; consequently I am really not at all fond of Disney. I like Hello Kitty though.

Pirates vs Ninjas vs Zombies - who wins? Which do you love most?

Ninjas. I hate zombies.

Do you like wearing things in your hair? If so, what kind (snap clips, scrunchie, headband, etc), how big & crazy (lowkey, bigger the better), and colors.

I use scrunchies a lot and also have some knit headbands that I made myself. I do like big colourful hair accessories though I might not wear them everyday. I have a couple of sets of cyberlocks and wool dread falls. One thing I can definitely use is some kerchiefs to keep the sun off during the long crappy summer here - pink, green, brown, purple, blue....the only colours I don't really wear are orange and neons.

Piercings? - ears?? - elsewhere?

Two in each lobe, a vertical cartilage piercing in the top of each ear, and a couple more where the sun doesn't shine

Chocolate. With stuff in it? Are you more a plain chocolate lover, a chocolate and normal items lover (normal items being nuts, fruit, caramel) or do you like weird stuff in your chocolate? (weird stuff being curry, chilis, balsamic vinegar, floraly things)

I adore chocolate of all sorts *except* chili chocolate. Apart from that, I will blissfully nom down plain milk or dark chocolate or chocolate with whatever nifty gourmand flavour. I don't like Hershey's or Nestle chocolate. Lindt is one of my favourite brands, or Green & Black's.
