Do you like poetry? Yes, very much.

 

What types of scents do you like to scent your home? Which do you totally avoid? I like foodie scents, incense-y scents, outdoorsy scents... lots of things. I totally avoid notes I usually don't like (see questionnaire). Some favorites: vanilla, cinnamon, almost any of Nocturne Alchemy's offering oils, Nag Champa incense. I also love the Trading Post's atmosphere sprays (a list of what I have and ratings can be found in my ScentBase profile).

 

What are your thoughts on comics? Any you like? Any you have been wanting to try? Favorite characters? Love them. My favorites are listed in my questionnaire, I think. I've started reading Witchblade, and have read the first 20 issues or so. Would love to read more. My witch could probably figure out my tastes from the questionnaire, and I'd be happy to receive any she thought I would like.

 

How do you feel about nail polish? What colors do you like? Sparkles? I like it. All sorts of colors, really. Sparkles are fine. I love all the Trading Post polishes, and particularly lust after Smokestack, Midnight on the Midway, and Opium Poppy.

 

Ok geek check - what sort of geeky things do you do? Do you read comics/graphic novels? Are you obsessed with something (a TV show maybe?) Do you work in a geeky field? Do you play rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons? Would you like gifts related to any of these? I read comics, and watch geeky TV (see questionnaire). I love RPGs and video games. Wish the hubby and I had some people to play D&D with locally, but we don't. Related gifts would be great.

 

 

Would you like anything from Starring Fragrances. They make awesome hair stuff, natural deoderant, and home fragrance (and a ton of other stuff, those are just my favs)? Sure. I've never tried them, but am always open to trying new etailers.

Dying to try Villainess Bourbon Vanilla! I love Savor Whipped Soap (I currently have their Chocolate Covered Strawberries and would love to try others.) I also love Paintbox Soapworks, and would love to try Black Heart, Frozen Heart, Immaculate Confection, Victorious Sun or This Charming Man. Also love Snake Oil soap.

 

What periods of art do you love most? Like, if someone was going to get you a tapestry or a box or some other item, what period would you want it to most resonate with? the pinks and golds of Rococo? the clean geometry of Art Deco? The romanticism of Art Nouveux? The strange lines of Cubism?

I'm crazy about Art Nouveau and Italian Renaissance.

 

Would you like caffeinated lollipops? Not for me.

For those who like lipgloss, lipstick, tinted balms, etc, what colors do you wear (and warm? cool?) and do you prefer something sheer or more opaque? How do you feel about shimmer?

I am slightly obsessed with lip balms. I love them. I also have an unfortunate habit of losing them, so always welcome more. If colored, I'm a cool colors gal. I prefer sheer, and shimmer is great.

 

Are there any fancy/gourmet/special herbs or spices that you'd love to receive? ie: good quality vanilla or other extracts, vanilla beans, saffron, lavender, etc.

Yes. Vanilla extract would be lovely. Saffron, absolutely. Really, anything like that is great (except lavender, of which I am not a fan).

 

What's your favorite animal? Or is there one that's particularly significant to you? Cats. All kinds of cats. Alley cats, big cats, whatever. I them.

 

If you were able to get a vintage or prototype bottle from the upcoming West Coast Will Call, which one would you want? I would do just about anything for a bottle of Monsterbait: Underpants. Seriously.

 

DVDs, Blu-Ray, both, neither? I prefer Blu-Ray, but of course can do either.

 

Sock Dreams? What kind? (anklets, footies, etc.?) I love footies and knee highs (OTKs are usually too long for me, as I am short). Also: wrist warmers and the like are love.

 

Since this is a price capped round, would you rather get one "big" thing or lots of "little" things or don't care? Whatever works best for my witch is fine with me.

Do you like wearing things in your hair? If so, what kind (snap clips, scrunchie, headband, etc), how big & crazy (lowkey, bigger the better), and colors. My hair is difficult. It's very fine (yet thick) so I have a hard time finding things that will work. But I'm open to new things. I prefer low-key (as I am also super lazy).

 

Piercings? - ears?? - elsewhere? Ears (00 gauge in each ear, plus two standard ear piercings), labret, monroe, and um,

Chocolate. With stuff in it? Are you more a plain chocolate lover, a chocolate and normal items lover (normal items being nuts, fruit, caramel) or do you like weird stuff in your chocolate? (weird stuff being curry, chilis, balsamic vinegar, floraly things)

Yes, please. And I am open to stuff in it, including weird stuff (like bacon! yum!).

 

Booze? Yay or Nay? what kinds? Yay! My witch will know from my questionnaire that I'm a huge wine geek. I also love cider and beer. That said, alcohol can't be shipped to my home address (which is in TN), but can be shipped to my office (which is in VA). If my witch wanted to send boozy goodness, she could find my work address on my company website, which is linked in my questionnaire.

 

Steampunk inspired items? Yay or nay? Yay! I also make steampunk inspired jewelry myself, so odds and ends I could use in that pursuit would also be welcome.
