-I'm not a huge cooking type person, so maybe not? Though a baked goods recipe book might be fun.

-Any level is fine! I especially like vintage retro pin up sort of things

 

I know the ?airre asked about gently used books and if you like garage sales, but would you like other kinds of gently used items that may have come from a garage sale?

-As long as they aren't nasty and dirty, I'm fine with it!

 

Do you like cooking seasonings, like the kind you can get in ounce sizes? If so, things you'd love to try out?

-Again, not much of a cook. I wouldn't know where to start!

-NO!

-Probably not, I tend to keep all mine scattered in a drawer, since I mostly have imps

-Oh good lord yes. Amanda Palmer's, Scrangie, Duirwaigh Studios, Phyrra, Epbot, Wondermark (web comic), Daily Blink (WoW comic panels), Hyperbole and a Half,to name a few. I take peeks at Neil Gaiman and Wil Wheaton every now and then as well.

 

And lastly... surprise! the world has given you the day off. You hear that, no chores, responsibilities, or budget you have to follow. What would you do in those 24 hours?

-Buy everything I wanted from Michaels/Alphastamps.com. Hey you said no budget! I'd call up all my closest friends and get as many as I could to hang out for the day (if it was now, it'd be at the Ren Faire over the weekend!), and then go out for drinks and dinner after So yeah, art, friends, geekiness, beer.

 

Favorite artists or specific paintings?

-I love Shag. LOVE Shag. Also Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell, Grant Gould, Brom, Brian Froud, David Delemare, Jody Bergsma, and my favorite - Stephanie Pui-Mun Law. Just for reference, while I adore faerie art, I hate Amy Brown. Just saying!

-Nay. It's that food thing again

-YAY! Very much YAY!

-They are ADORABLE!!

 

Pirates vs Ninjas vs Zombies - who wins? Which do you love most?

-ZOMBIES! Pirates hold a dear place in my heart, but I love zombies just a bit more. And I hate to say it, but ninjas would probably win *sigh* Though the pirates might just get drunk enough to fight and not care, and maybe even win

 

Do you like wearing things in your hair? If so, what kind (snap clips, scrunchie, headband, etc), how big & crazy (lowkey, bigger the better), and colors.

- I'm getting big into hair flowers right now. At the moment it's just smaller ones, but I could use some bigger ones as well! Probably no more than 3 inches across.

 

Piercings? - ears?? - elsewhere?

- ears! Cheap earrings tend to go green on me though But I have 11 holes in my ears!

 

Chocolate. With stuff in it? Are you more a plain chocolate lover, a chocolate and normal items lover (normal items being nuts, fruit, caramel) or do you like weird stuff in your chocolate? (weird stuff being curry, chilis, balsamic vinegar, floraly things)

-I like white chocolate. AND I like chocolate with bacon in it I wouldn't ship any to me though, I live in Orlando and the weather tends to make it a bit melty

 

If you were able to get a vintage or prototype bottle from the upcoming West Coast Will Call, which one would you want?

- I don't really know how any of them smell on me, but I would love to try Monsterbait:Underpants, or CD:Alley of Games

 

DVDs, Blu-Ray, both, neither?

- DVDs! I don't currently have a Blue-Ray player.

 

What's your favorite animal? Or is there one that's particularly significant to you?

-The phoenix has been showing up more and more often, whether in thoughts or cards or whatnot. Bunnies are a big thing of mine, as Bunny was (okay, still is) my mom's nickname for me. And can Cthulhu count as an animal?

 

Sock Dreams? What kind? (anklets, footies, etc.?)

-OMG yes. I love arm warmers (though not the kind with seperate fingers - I don't like the fingerless glove style quite so much, they're usually too tight on my fingers), and thigh highs (but not the sock type ones, I has fat thighs and that type doesn't usually work well on me. I like the thin ones!)

 

Since this is a price capped round, would you rather get one "big" thing or lots of "little" things or don't care?

-I think I would prefer lots of little things, or maybe a medium thing and a few little things.

 

Do you like pirate-related things?

- Arrrrrr.

 

For those who like lipgloss, lipstick, tinted balms, etc, what colors do you wear (and warm? cool?) and do you prefer something sheer or more opaque? How do you feel about shimmer?

-I don't really wear a whole lot of lip stuff, I tend to eat it off, or it goes all flaky on me really fast. I do like the 'mark' lip

stain 'kissink', and need it in 'berry bitten'

 

Are there any fancy/gourmet/special herbs or spices that you'd love to receive? ie: good quality vanilla or other extracts, vanilla beans, saffron, lavender, etc.

-I actually used to love wearing vanilla potpourri oil, and haven't really been able to find a good one in a while.

 

What periods of art do you love most? Like, if someone was going to get you a tapestry or a box or some other item, what period would you want it to most resonate with? the pinks and golds of Rococo? the clean geometry of Art Deco? The romanticism of Art Nouveux? The strange lines of Cubism?

-I do love me some Art Deco and Art Nouveux

-meh.

- Sure!!

- Not really.

- Maybe a good messenger bag - with a really long strap, olive or brown.

- I have a bunch and never wear them, though I always think I want to!

 

Would you like anything from Starring Fragrances. They make awesome hair stuff, natural deoderant, and home fragrance (and a ton of other stuff, those are just my favs)?

- No thanks!

 

How do you feel about nail polish? What colors do you like? Sparkles?

-Oh gods I love nail polish! Usually not big on actual glitters - unless it's glass flecked (too hard to get off!!). I love blues and greens, I need some good purples though. I tend to prefer sparkly/shimmery ones, and not a fan of 'normal' colors (reds and pinks, unless they're faboo), or neons.

 

There's been an update...anything you're desperate for?

- Nope! I am safe this time around, lol!

 

What are your thoughts on comics? Any you like? Any you have been wanting to try? Favorite characters?

-I like Kabuki by David Mack, the art is just gorgeous!! I have the first few trades, I don't remember where I stopped yet. Same with Sandman - though I'd love to start over with the new updated trades. I really want to read Walking Dead, Fathom, Girl Genius, and Fables.

 

Ok geek check - what sort of geeky things do you do? Do you read comics/graphic novels? Are you obsessed with something (a TV show maybe?) Do you work in a geeky field? Do you play rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons? Would you like gifts related to any of these?

- Sailor Moon!! I play a TON of WoW (For the Horde!! I'm an Orc Hunter ) - and I collect mini-pets in game. I don't have any of the purchaseable ones except Lil KT and the Pandaren Monk, and I also don't have ANY from the TCG. I would love to play Munchkin (apparently they have a Zombie version? *dies*) because I never have and I tend to adore Steve Jackson. I also love most of the shirts from ThinkGeek.com & Jinx.com (2X currently, XL hopefully soon to be, I'm losing weight!). Also, Doctor Who. LOVE LOVE LOVE Doctor Who!!

 

Do you have a favorite fabric? If someone were to make you a fabric item, would you prefer it be out of any fabric? e.g. velvet, satin, silk, cotton, bamboo??? Would this change if it were an article of clothing vs. a bag/pillow/blanket/somethingelse

- Not especially, I like a lot of different fabrics

 

If your Witch lived near you, would you be happy or creeped out to get a "coupon" for a service like cleaning help or babysitting or dogwalking or coffee out with your Witch or something like that? Would you be creeped out if a local minion personally delivered a package to your house from a far-away Witch?

- Er, creeped out? I'm private like that sometimes O_o I suppose if they lived near, a lunch date or something might be fun though

 

Let's say I have a pair of something you collect, would you like one of them and we have matching things?

-That would be so cute!!

 

What three things are you craving right now?

- Steampunk jewelry (I love keys...), more rubber stamps of funky vintagy things, and a nap with my fiance

 

paper goods, anyone need? including resume paper, and formal stationery as well as casual cards.

- I love paper goods that I can cut up for ATCs

 

What is a scent that you've been trying to find even a sample of for a very long time to no avail? (What bottle would you die to get your hands on - even a partial?)

- PO13. A prototype that I was frimped one day forever ago, I adore it and wish I could get more of it!!

 

Is there anything in your life that you'd like advice or a "selfhelp" book for?: (ie finances, eating healthier, meal planning)

- Fun 'positive thinking' kinds of things. My favorite thing right now is TUT's Notes From the Universe, I get them in my email every day I like the stuff that's a bit different, not the same self help kind of thing you hear all the time Also, I'm trying to learn about Wicca and Paganism, and am also trying to be careful about what I read. I adore Laurie Cabbot and own "The Power of the Witch", and I also own "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham, as that's what I am

-I've never heard of that O_o

 

What is your favorite type of wine? Would you be interested in trying something new? In that case, is there anything you really DON'T like? Ooooo how about dessert wines?

- You know, I really don't know much about wine at all. I've been a very casual drinker of it, but it is something I'd like to get more into! I'd especially like to know what's considered a 'good' wine, and what's considered a 'cheapo' wine, I've brought stuff to parties before and been looked at like I was trailer trash *hides*

 

Easter Candy - do you like it? If so, what types?

- Trying to stay away from teh candy!!!

 

What scent(s) are you petrified of getting DC'd?

- Oooh, I don't know. My most common 'go to' scent right now is Block Buster, so maybe that? *shrug*

 

Are you interested in trying Super Villainess (from Villainess - the birthday scent that was just released tonight!) and if so, which item do you like the most? (Soap, Whipped, Smooch, Extrait, Smack...)

-Probably not that particular scent.

 

If I were to order you a Smack, which four notes would you like?

-Oooh, I've never tried those! I don't know if I'd want 4 scents combined, but I could see using either a Vanilla Bean/Spice Trade or Vanilla Bean/Lemon Meringue. Buttercream Cupcake sounds delicious as well, but I don't know what else I'd pair it with! Maybe Spice Trade again?

 

Would you enjoy receiving a knitted gift from your witch? If so what would you be interested in (scarf, hat, wrist / handwarmers, socks, etc.) and in what colors?

-Oooh yes! I love scarves - LOOOONG scarves, like down to my knees. I wont' wear them otherwise. Also arm warmers, with or without thumb holes. I like lots of colors - turquoise, deep purple, olive green, grass green, maroon, deep orange, magenta, black. Any of those colors would be fine

 

Would you be squicked if I made you something with a kiss print that was made with my actual lips? (The ones on my face!) I solemnly swear I don't have mono, Ebola, or any sort of French disease. Bubonic plague is still on the table.

- A bit O_o Is that bad?

 

What is the coolest thing you have recently bought or been given that wouldn't exceed the price cap?

- A cool necklace of an old-looking pocket watch. Though it has a clear cover rather than metal, and I have to say I had visions of a steampunked Flava Flav in my head when I put it on...lol!!! It may be used for costumes only, when it wouldn't look quite so much like that to me.

 

Do people like Roller Derby? If so, would you want anything from that sport? Like memorabilia or anything?

- Roller Derby is starting to facinate me. I'd love to do it, though the way my knees are right now it's out of the question. I'd love to learn more about it though, I really don't know anything about it at all!

-Only if they were extremley relevant to my interests I have a few blank ones already that I haven't touched.
