Baked Goods? Yea Nay?

I would prefer no baked goods right now since I'm trying to eat healthier and I'm terrible at avoiding eating things like that when they are right in front of me.

 

If not Baked goods and you are changing eating habits..a book of recipes perhaps that will help the new eating lifestyle?

I'm all for recipes (hand-written or books) with new and interesting recipes. I'm trying to bring down my cholesterol, so recipes to help with that would be particularly helpful. I'm also always on the lookout for good slow cooker recipes. My slow cooker is my friend, but I have so few good recipes for it.

 

If you were to make an order RIGHT NOW (Not that any of you will make any bpal orders until SW is over, because you do NOT want to mess up any plans your witch might have!) What would you order (from lab, forum, DD, TradingPost, etc)

What level of nudity are you fine with on items?

Depends on the type of item. It would be different for a mug (prefer none) than a painting. I'm generally ok with tasteful nudity.

 

I know the ?aire asked about gently used books and if you like garage sales, but would you like other kinds of gently used items that may have come from a garage sale?

Anything but clothing, as long as it's clean. I get lots of good knick knacks and corningware that way.

 

Do you like cooking seasonings, like the kind you can get in ounces sizes? If so, things you'd love to try out?

Sure, I'm willing to try anything. I'm a fan of Original Camp Mix, and my hubby likes their Spud Fixin's as well.

 

Do you like any particular kinds of green or back teas or coffees that could also be gotten in bulk?

Nope. I'm not really a tea person in general. I just have a little peppermint or camamille when I'm not feeling well.

 

Favorite snack foods (and can they be from bulk section as well?)

Anything chocolate; jelly beans, cheese crackers, salsa, dried fruit (particularly mangos), beef jerky (teryaki flavor is my favorite)

 

If someone were attending Disney on Ice (Toy Story 3) with a bunch of Girl Scouts, would you want a patch/souvenir?

Sure. I still have my vests, sash, and patches from my girl scout days and I love Disney.

 

Would you rather have HUGE list of things your witchee wants to try or just a highlight list?

Huge list for sure. My collection is on the small side, so the bigger the list, the bigger the chance I find something on it I already have to send.

I honestly have no idea. All the things I'd really like to do would be wasted on a 24-hour time slot. I mean, I'd like to say travel and see things, but doing it in 24 hours would sort of ruin it because I wouldn't have time to take it all in.

Ninjas! They're sneaky like that. I'm not real into zombies, but I like ninjas and pirates. Ninja pirates have been a theme at past events.

Chocolate with things in it?

I like truffles and caramels and fruit in my chocolate. I'm ok with peanuts, almonds or hazelnuts in my chocolate, but not so much with other nuts. I'm willing to try other, more out there things, but have never had the opportunity. Since it's relevant here, I actually really like Rum Raisin Ritter Sport bars and I haven't had one in about 8 years. I just can't find them around here anymore.

kitty cats,at least as far as real animals go. I like both wild and domestic cats.

Both. I'm currently working on updating my collection onto blu-ray.

Sure! Anklets and footies are my preference. Mid-calves are also ok. I've never had toe-socks, but I've always been curious about them.

Depends on the time of year, but I typically like fruity. I tend to lean more towards piney in the winter because it makes me think of Christmas trees. I like the scent of lilacs too, but I don't believe I've ever found anything that really smelled like them in a room scent.

Ok geek check - what sort of geeky things do you do? Do you read comics/graphic novels? Are you obsessed with something (a TV show maybe?) Do you work in a geeky field? Do you play rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons? Would you like gifts related to any of these

I read manga. I'm currently looking for .hack//Cell vols. 1 & 2; .hack//link vol 1; Vampire Knight vols 8 and up; and Naruto vols 32 and up. For ideas of other things I enjoy, I've also got all of Tokyo Mew Mew and Fruits Basket. I also enjoy anime. Slayers is my favorite. I have quite a bit of anime on DVD, so if you'd like a complete list, please ask. As an idea of some things I like: Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Fate Stay Night, Ruroni Kenshin, .hack, etc.

I'm making it my goal to have everything .hack. I'm pretty sure I'm up to date on the dvds, I know I have all the games, and I'm missing the manga listed above. I also have a Tshirt, a Haseo figurine, and a few pins that came with sign when I bought it.

In addition to that, I'm a huge Star Wars and Star Trek nut. I wanted to be a jedi when I was younger (tbh, I still think it would be cool). I especially like the original Star Trek, but next generation is also cool. Spock is my favorite character.

I also play D&D, as seen by my Amazon wishlist, I'm missing quite a few of the new books. I don't get to play as often as I'd like, but I do enjoy it when I do. I've tried other tabletop gaming, but haven't really enjoyed most of it. The only other tabletop RPGs I've ever enjoyed were the other Vampire: the Masquerade and Werewolf: the Apocalypse by White wolf. I don't like their new systems though. I used to LARP a d&d type system before I got pregnant, but since it involved beating each other with foam-covered pipes, I couldn't do it after that and now I can't leave her to go back.

Hubby and I play a variety of miniature games as well, although largely I just like painting the models. I tire of the games themselves fairly quickly.

I am happy to receive items related to any of my geekiness, except more dice. I have more dice than I know what to do with already. I buy a set to match the color scheme of each of my miniature gaming armies. My Tyranids actually have 4 sets, one for each color, since they are color coded by mutation type.

 

Nail polish?

I use it on occasion. I could go for some nice blues and greens, especially deep ones. I hear the TP has some in the works, so I keep hoping to see them appear.

I like X-Men. I keep thinking I should try to get some sort of collection so I can read it from the beginning. I also like manga. See geek question for more details there.

Household/kitchen goods/gadgets?

Been wanting a garlic roaster forever. Also keep thinking about getting a rice cooker.

 

Do you have a favorite fabric? If someone were to make you a fabric item, would you prefer it be out of any fabric? e.g. velvet, satin, silk, cotton, bamboo??? Would this change if it were an article of clothing vs. a bag/pillow/blanket/somethingelse?

I like soft things, especially if it is to cuddle or to wear. Anything worn against the skin really has to be soft. Wool and anything lacy just feels scratchy and makes me itch, although I'm fine with wool as an outer garment, like a cloak.

 

Anything with the Worm Moon update that you're already lusting after?

Upon further consideration, I'm mildly intrigued by LORD TEISHIN WITH A DEMON BEHIND A SCREEN. It didn't jump out at me at first, but the more I look at the notes, the more I think it might work.

If your Witch lived near you, would you be happy or creeped out to get a "coupon" for a service like cleaning help or babysitting or dogwalking or coffee out with your Witch or something like that? Would you be creeped out if a local minion personally delivered a package to your house from a far-away Witch?

Not so much into the babysitting or cleaning my house (I'm just too particular about things), but I wouldn't mind going out for coffee or lunch or something. I also would have no problem with a minion dropping off a package.

What is a scent that you've been trying to find?

I am on the hunt for the perfect strawberry scent. I had a Strawberry Shortcake shampoo as a kid that left my hair smelling of strawberries and I hope to find something that will evoke the same feeling. Something else that I keep thinking looks interesting when it shows up on eBay though is Enraged Groundhog Musk.

 

Is there anything in your life that you'd like advice or a "selfhelp" book for?

Are you interested in trying Super Villainess (from Villainess - the birthday scent that was just released tonight!) and if so, which item do you like the most? (Soap, Whipped, Smooch, Extrait, Smack...)

Probably not just because I fear the espresso scent would be too overpowering. I've never actually even looked at the villainess site before, but smooch and/or smack sound promising for my skin. I'm not really clear on what the difference between them is. Smooch is maybe not a cleanser, but smack is? *feels stupid* Perhaps someone could explain, because it sounds very nice.

If I were to order you a Smack, which four notes would you like?

I would say sure, but we're sort of getting out of the season where I would wear any of it. I could always go for a nice pair of lounging socks though. Favorite colors are dark green, dark blue, and black.
