Baked Goods? Yea Nay? Yes! Yes and more yes! One thing to be aware of though, I live with my family and I do like to share my treats. My mom is vegetarian so anything made with non-veg ingredients (lard, gelatin, etc.) needs to be labeled as such.

 

If I were to make an order right now: A BPAL order would include bottles of WILF (if it's still live?) each of the Riders (Red, Black, White) and The Antikythera Mechanism. Possibly definitely another backup of War. (I'm kind of freaking out about my GC discons right now ) Maybe another each bottle of Celeste and Spanked (I have a TP order with a bottle of each coming but I tested them at a MnS recently and they're even better than I expected!) And if Ein Kuss Von Krampus is still available from DD I would order that...

 

What level of nudity are you fine with on items?: Nudity itself doesn't bother me at all, neither do curse words or "dirty" words (with a few exceptions). It is the situation of the nudity that might bother me. Like... sending me a Hustler might not please me too much but on the other hand I looooove pin-up art.

 

I know the ?airre asked about gently used books and if you like garage sales, but would you like other kinds of gently used items that may have come from a garage sale?: Yes! Use your judgment on the level of used-ness. And I want to expand upon my used books answer: I looooove used books! I do get a little picky about marks and highlighting inside them though. In novels it kind of annoys me if there is underlining/highlighting/other marks inside. Cover wear, outside marking (within reason), yellowing, age wear, etc. that’s all good.

 

Do you like any particular kinds of green or back teas or coffees that could also be gotten in bulk? I am a coffee fiend! Seriously. Lately I’ve been getting bags of flavored coffee from Target (their brand is Archer Farms) and they’re surprisingly good! My favorite is Cinnamon Vanilla Nut but I’ve tried the Chocolate Truffle and Chocolate Fudge Brownie and they are good! (I also tried their French Vanilla but I prefer other brands vanilla flavors) I also like just regular coffee. Lighter roasts are better. I really like Dunkin' Donuts coffee actually. I like hot chocolate a lot as well. Tea is good but I really prefer coffee.

 

Favorite snack foods (and can they be from bulk section as well?) Chocolate covered pretzels! OMG! I also really like ginger chews (that's what those ginger chewy thingies are called right?) In just regular and flavors. Ooooh and gummy worms! Especially the kind with the "sour powder" on the outside that's not really sour. And I love the candies that are round chewy caramel with cream in the center. I don't remember the brand name...

 

Do you like cooking seasonings, like the kind you can get in ounces sizes? If so, things you'd love to try out?

I don't cook all that much... so probably not so much.

Stuffed critter? I would love a little crafted stuffed animal! So cute!

candles and/or aroma melts: yay or nay?

Candles are a big yes! I have been saying forever that I want to get a scented candle for my room. I don't have a tart burner or anything so wax melts won't be put to much use with me I'm afraid...

 

E-books: I don't have an e-reader but if that's the only form the book comes in and I really want to read it *cough*MeiLin's IHGK short stories*cough* then a PDF it is!

 

Social Networking: I do have an LJ account but I find LJ so damn confusing I never even log in. I also have a twitter but again, I never log in. Facebook... I am seriously considering deleting my account but feel free to friend me in the meantime

 

Do you need another bpal box? If so what would your fantasy one look like? YES! Between writing up my questionnaire and now I got a beautiful box from my mom that is prefect for all my 5mls (my Q-naire says need a new 5ml box) but I need a taller box for 10mls and taller bottles from other companies (Solstice Scents in particular. Their bottles are TALL!) I would love a box painted with my favorite colors (black and purple) or with some kind of... pretty painting? sorry I'm not very good at describing what I'd like.

I'd probably hang out with my friends honestly... Get some food maybe.

Do you like those little crocheted dolls? You know the ones! They have a Japanese name! GAH! If so, who needs to be emulated as one? I don't know exactly what you're talking about but it sounds really cute!

 

Pirates vs Ninjas vs Zombies - who wins? Which do you love most? Ooooh. Tough question. I would say pirates if they're the grungy-sexy Johnny Depp-as-Jack Sparrow type.

 

Do you like wearing things in your hair? If so, what kind (snap clips, scrunchie, headband, etc), how big & crazy (lowkey, bigger the better), and colors. My hair is loooong and fine. It slips out of a lot of clips (grippy bumps on the inside aren't a bad idea). But I like claw clips and thick-ish hairties. Bright colors and funky designs are good. Sometimes I use the clips that you bend back and forth to open and close. I don't like things that are going to stick out too much (with the exception of big claw clips) or have too much extra stuff going on.

 

Piercings: 3 in each earlobe (i usually just keep plain silver rings in these), an industrial in one ear and a single cartilage piercing in the other (both 16 gauge), and my bellybutton. I'm always losing the bottom balls to the bellybutton rings and I have a tendency to get bored quickly with the rings I have, so I'm always looking for new ones. I don't like anything too dangly for regular wear. Really, the ones with cheap acrylic balls in bright colors and patterns are best. Because you can get a bunch of them at once and it doesn't matter if you lose or break a ball because you can just grab another ring.

 

Chocolate. With stuff in it? Are you more a plain chocolate lover, a chocolate and normal items lover (normal items being nuts, fruit, caramel) or do you like weird stuff in your chocolate? (weird stuff being curry, chilis, balsamic vinegar, floraly things)

Yesssss! I like milk, dark, and white chocolate (yes, I know white chocolate isn't really chocolate but I still like it). I like orange chocolate a lot and I would love to try other citrus-y kinds if they make them. No so big on nuts. Caramel is okay. Fruit and berries are generally good (cherry can be kinda iffy though). As for weird stuff, I've always kind of wanted to try bacon chocolate but never have. Never tried chilis. If they're not actually really hot I'd give them a try. I think white chocolate is my favorite kind of chocolate to eat plain. I like milk and dark chocolate dressed up with other stuff better.

 

For those who like lipgloss, lipstick, tinted balms, etc, what colors do you wear (and warm? cool?) and do you prefer something sheer or more opaque? How do you feel about shimmer? I looooove lip balm. Seriously, I can never have too many. There a bunch on my etsy wishlist if you want to get an idea of flavors I like. I don't wear glosses or lipstick very much. a little bit of shimmer or glitter is okay but nothing too over the top.

 

Are there any fancy/gourmet/special herbs or spices that you'd love to receive? ie: good quality vanilla or other extracts, vanilla beans, saffron, lavender, etc. I would totally love whole vanilla beans and saffron.

 

What's your favorite animal? Or is there one that's particularly significant to you?

Phoenixes. I have a very strong connection with them and the next tattoo I get is going to be a phoenix. (Or... maybe it won't for monetary reasons but I've had the phoenix planned for years now.) Also butterflies like this one. I have one tattooed on my leg, in fact. Both of these have stories behind their significance which I am totally willing to tell if you want to know, I just don't want to take up too much room in the blog post with it.

 

If you were able to get a vintage or prototype bottle from the upcoming West Coast Will Call, which one would you want?

Ohhh, I had kind of tried to ignore them because I knew I had no chance of getting any let me go take a look... probably Monsterbait: Underpants (right, me and the whole rest of the forum ), Elf v4, Paladin v3, WBSP1, maybe Cake Smash v6 and Velvet Panther v3

Sock Dreams? What kind? (anklets, footies, etc.?) YESYESYES! Did I mention yes? I love socks in all sorts of patterns, colors, decorations, etc. All types of socks too: ankle socks, footies, toe socks, tall socks, thin socks, thick cozy socks, knitted socks, knee socks, even thigh-highs, tights and stockings. I them all!

 

Since this is a price capped round, would you rather get one "big" thing or lots of "little" things or don't care? I don't care. However my witch wants to do it is fine with me.

 

Do you like pirate-related things? Ummm, I never really thought about it before... but sure!

 

Soaps? Be specific: if there are BPAL soaps you want to try or are dying for more of, tell all here! Also, any other companies people like or love? Villainess, maybe? Or Lush? What flavors??? I really like Paintbox soaps. I would really like some Black Heart (idk if she's still selling that one), Lavender Truffle and Immaculate Confection. (I've never tried her scrubs but I'd really like to ) I like Villainess soaps too (there's a list of the ones I want to try on my non-BPAL wishlist). I do want to try some BPAL soaps (on my BPAL wishlist). I don't use LUSH soaps because most if not all of them have SLS/SLES in them.

Pillows? What size/designs/colors would most interest you? I like pillows! There are some cute ones on my etsy wl that would give you an idea of what I like.

 

purses? bags? What style/colors? Yes! Umm, any size really. I kind of go back and forth between big bag mood and small bag mood. (I am in big bag mood right now and am using this messenger bag.) I like kind of neutral colors that will go with a variety of clothes because I don't like to do a lot of switching around of bags. So like black or tan or grey or maybe even blue or green.

 

Decorative scarves for hair and/or creative accessorizing? What colors? You know, I always think I want decorative scarves, but I never use them for anything. They're so pretty but I almost never dress up enough to actually make them useful.

 

Would you like anything from Starring Fragrances. They make awesome hair stuff, natural deoderant, and home fragrance (and a ton of other stuff, those are just my favs)?

Yes! there is kind of a lot I want from Starring. Check my non-BPAL wishlist. A lot of the perfumes (oil based please ) sound good to me but also the scrubs, soap, shower gel (their shower gel doesn't have SLS/SLES! YAY! and I do need some shower gel because I have a shower puff from a previous swap and no shower gel to use with it ) and possibly lotion in the scents indicated in my WL.

 

Do you like poetry? Yes I do. This is my favorite book of poetry, but I am open to anything my witch would like to send.

 

What types of scents do you like to scent your home? Which do you totally avoid? Scents to avoid is easy: florals. Room scents that are overly floral usually just make my head hurt. Sometimes the "fresh" or "clean" ones do it too, but some of them I like. Scents I like are a little more complicated. I like fruits, sweet fruits in particular. I also like vanillas and baking type scents like "chocolate chip cookies" or "vanilla buttercream" or "pumpkin pie" or something like that. I also really like coffee scents. Coffee with stuff is also good. Like mocha or hazelnut coffee, etc. I am intrigued by the idea of a leather scented candle but I don't know if it would be good or would make my head hurt. It would have to be a really good quality leather scent.

 

What are your thoughts on comics? Any you like? Any you have been wanting to try? Favorite characters? I'm not so much a comic book person. I do read some webcomics.

 

How do you feel about nail polish? What colors do you like? Sparkles?

I have some nail polish and I use it fairly infrequently but when I do use it I really like it. The only color I feel that my life is missing and I really really need is a rich, deep velvety chocolate brown. Otherwise I like pretty much anything except yellow and orange. Sparkles are all good.

 

Ok geek check - what sort of geeky things do you do? Do you read comics/graphic novels? Are you obsessed with something (a TV show maybe?) Do you work in a geeky field? Do you play rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons? Would you like gifts related to any of these? My sister calls me a "secret geek." Meaning I look like a perfectly normal girl on the outside, but on the inside, total geek. and until you talk to me, you'd never know. Things I tend to geek out about are authors I like. Stephen King (especially the way so many of his books have little hidden things that reference other books and you have to have read everything to get them), Sara Douglass (to a certain extent she does something similar but to a waaaay lesser extent. She has an ongoing story that links back to an earlier series... it's kind of hard to explain.), Jacqueline Carey , Margaret Atwood. I geek out somewhat over video games like Pokemon (my favorite is Piplup. Soooooo cute! ) and Kingdom Hearts (though my sister is way more hardcore then me. I do have a necklace that is Axel's weapon though.) Also, Star Trek. TNG and Voyager. Not so much on the other series.

 

Do you have a favorite fabric? If someone were to make you a fabric item, would you prefer it be out of any fabric? e.g. velvet, satin, silk, cotton, bamboo??? Would this change if it were an article of clothing vs. a bag/pillow/blanket/something else

ooooh! I think it kinda depends on what the item is. I really like bamboo fabric and satin but I don't know how well those would hold up in a bag or something that would have to take a lot of abuse. But if you were making, say, a pillow or something. I think they would work. (Of course I don't know these things. I'm just guessing ) Smooth cotton fabrics are also nice but again I guess it kind of depends on what you're doing with it. I've always kind of liked bags made out of coffee bean sacks (I think they're burlap?) but it's that rustic, random words and symbols printed on it look I like. OOOH! And I loooove those no-sew fleece blanets that come in bundles that you just unwrap and you're good to go. I have like, 4, but I will keep buying them! You can never have too many snuggly lightweight blankets!

 

Anything with the Worm Moon update that you're already lusting after? Yup. 4/5 of the new/LE salons look wonderful! Especially the Earth Spider one (too tired to look it up right now.) The ones I think sound good are on my wishlist.

 

If your Witch lived near you, would you be happy or creeped out to get a "coupon" for a service like cleaning help or babysitting or dogwalking or coffee out with your Witch or something like that? Would you be creeped out if a local minion personally delivered a package to your house from a far-away Witch?

Ummm, coffee/lunch/whatever out with my witch would be freaking awesome! (as long as they drive. No license here yet) I don't need any kind of services like dogwalking or anything and my living situation is not really the best for personal minion delivery (I live with a bunch of nosy people )

 

Let's say I have a pair of something you collect, would you like one of them and we have matching things? That would be so cool!

 

What three things are you craving right now? to do absolutely nothing except laze about and surf the internet, eat something sweet, and have somebody yummy to do yummy things with.

 

What is a scent that you've been trying to find even a sample of for a very long time to no avail? (What bottle would you die to get your hands on - even a partial?)

I would kill for a bottle of De Sade. It's the most wonderful, sexy, pure leather scent I've ever smelled and I have some imps but I missed out on getting a bottle before it was discontinued.

There are a lot of scents I would like to sniff but I'm kind of scared to because they're soooo rare and I'm afraid that I will fall in love and never be able to find more.

 

Another question! Is there anything in your life that you'd like advice or a "selfhelp" book for? Not really... unless there's one about how to be an adult without actually doing any grownup things.

The VM scents I've tried so far don't usually work all that well in me but the ones that sound good are: Fairy Changeling, Lost Woods of Killarney, Morrígan, The Cauldron of Daghda, and The Fairy Shoemaker.

What scent(s) are you petrified of getting DC'd? My #1 fear of getting disconed is War. It's my absolute love, can't live without BPAL scent. I've never found anything like it from another company and nothing else from BPAL comes close to being the same for me. and I have 2 bottles but if it gets disconed I will cry, literally. Other loves that I'm trying to stock up on are: The Antikythera Mechanism (have one bottle), And all three Riders (red, black white) (don't have bottles of these), and How Doth the Little Crocodile (have a dwindling bottle)

 

Are you interested in trying Super Villainess (from Villainess - the birthday scent that was just released tonight!) and if so, which item do you like the most? (Soap, Whipped, Smooch, Extrait, Smack...) Yes! That sounds wonderful! I think I would be most interested in the perfume, followed by the soap or scrub.

 

If I were to order you a Smack, which four notes would you like? Here is my list of Smack combination ideas. It hasn't been updated in a while but it would give you an idea of the combinations I would like.

 

Would you enjoy receiving a knitted gift from your witch? If so what would you be interested in (scarf, hat, wrist / handwarmers, socks, etc.) and in what colors? I would LOVE something knitted from my witch! Seriously... love. I can't knit at all so I absolutely adore hand knitted things and it would make me feel so special if it were done especially for me! What I would like... anything! Socks would be awesome or a scarf or hand/arm warmers but I don't tend to wear those all that much. I would probably get more use out of socks. Or a scarf but it's starting to not be scarf-wearing weather so much anymore. So I say socks.

Clowns: I don't really care either way about clowns. Now the scents, that's another story... Bones Trombone and Knockout Drops sound really good! Thunder and Blazes sounds iffy with the mud but it has leather! I have to try it!
