Scent for a place you lived. I grew up in NYC. I don't really want a perfume that smells like pollution, garbage and humanity. I'd be more interested in something homey. Rice cooking, cooking spices, a lived in house...the smell I miss the most is my spouse. And I miss the cooking smells that mean he's on his way home to have a meal with us. But the smell of rice or even grains cooking is very comforting, rice especially. It's why I love Ghoul Hooligan so much, it has a 'cereal cooking in milk' smell as well as the spice, and the funk and the chocolate.
