If you are a tea lover, what are your flavor preferences? Green? Black? Herbal (I know, technically those are NOT teas, but tisanes)? Flavored blacks/greens? Black, usually - flavors are good too. My favorites include fruity black teas like Twinings' Tastes of Summer, and more spiced ones like Bigelow's Eggnog'n.

 

How do you feel about silly, funny knick-knack, dollar store stuff, stickers, magnets etc? Would you like receiving that kind of stuff or rather not? I'd rather not. Maybe like, one or two things. But I have lots of stuff lying around as it is.

 

Do you read mangas/watch animes? Which ones? Do you have a particular favourite? Would you like to receive managas or anything related to them? Watch, no; read, yes. One Piece is my undisputed favorite - but in general I like any comics that have a healthy element of comedy and aren't primarily romance or drama. And no, I wouldn't mind getting stuff related to it, collectibles or whatever - as for the actual books, the only series I would collect are Iron Wok Jan and City Hunter, since they're out of print.

 

Are you open to receiving things that are not on your wishlist, maybe something your Witch thinks you might like? Yep, feel free to surprise me!

 

If you have something on a wishlist that we could craft INSTEAD of buying, though it might not end up identical to the wishlist thing, would it be okay to craft it instead? Obviously we don't want to copy anyone else's design, but if we can replicate the flavour or intent that you like without stepping on toes? Certainly!

 

OK, I know that lots of folks love socks. Do you have a preference of length? Materials? Patterns? Over the knee or thigh highs are preferable, and I like most patterns. Horizontal stripes I tend not to wear though. (Fat calves, and all.)

What is a bpal scent that you've been dying to try for awhile but just can't find? (A scent where even a tester would do) F54, to see what all the hype's about! Or, Chewing Little Bits of String.

 

Let's say, hypothetically speaking, that you have some children/spawn (1 or more), and, hypothetically speaking, your witch would like to spoil them a little but knows nothing of kids these days. What do they like or dislike? Also is there anything a (sane) adult might think they would like that you don't think is appropriate for whatever reason? (I'm thinking of things like temp tattoos, make up, things that make noise, or anything else that might be bad for non-obvious reasons.) I don't, so...nothing.

 

Is there anything you would like that can be delivered over the internet? Things like fanfic recs, cat macros, mp3s you are looking for, how-to or amusing videos, things like that Sure, I love all of the above!

 

What would your last meal be if it could be anything in the world (sky is the limit, drinks too, the whole shebang) I couldn't say for sure, but it'd probably include milk tea, a nice cheese course, caviar, yellowtail sashimi, fried rice, spicy wontons, patatas fritas with garlic aioli, and a white/dark chocolate raspberry mousse. And maybe some more hearty food like ribs or potato gratin. And croquettes. And curry. Drat, now I'm hungry...

For tea drinkers, do you prefer loose leaf or tea bags? Either is fine. I usually use bags for convenience, but do want to try loose leaf.

 

If you would enjoy something of a knitted persuasion, do you have a preference on type of thing? Since making a scarf for someone who has 10 might be a smidge excessive? Also, how do people feel about shawls? I'm not sure I'd wear a shawl, but anything else would be cool!

If you play console video games, what game systems do you have and what games would you love to have? Gamecube, DS, Wii, PS2 and I often use my friend's PS3. Um...can't think of any games I'm really jonesing to play lately. Oh, I guess I was always curious about Mario Sunshine. Maybe I'll add more later? If there was a third sequel to Katamari Damacy, I'd be very interested too!

 

How do you all feel about flowers and plants? Flower and plant seeds? Drawings of flowers or plants? Pressed flowers? I like those vintage (I am probably overusing this word) drawings of flowers and plants with their scientific names written next to 'em. Is there a a word for that? I don't do any gardening though.

And...and Biscoff cookies. Though I don't know if those are so much 'international' as much as 'I'm just too lazy to order them'.

 

Is there anything from the 'Ween BPTP update that you would like but haven't ordered for yourself? I'm curious about all the scents except for the licorice one. Like lots of other folks it's a very iffy note on me.

 

If you are a crafter, would you like to receive supplies from your witch (beads, fabric, yarn/roving etc?) I am not, so no. I like pretty beads, but they are liable to just sit there in a jar and look pretty rather than being made into anything!

COMIC BOOKS. Do you read them? Are there any series you like, or some you would like to try? Some, yes. My absolute favorite has to be One Piece. I also like Polly & the Pirates, Deadpool, and other random, weird, assorted things. Um. Probably not wise to get me started on this.

 

Warm drinks? Yes! Tea, cocoa, cider, etc.

 

When you go to an etsy wishlist, it will tell you what things are sold. If you click on the sold item, sometimes it will give options that are similar to what was sold, but not identical, would you like the similar item or prefer not to get it at all unless it's the same item? How picky are you? Depends on the 'thing', I guess? I don't think I'm picky.

 

Do you wear make up? Does lip gloss count?

 

Do you have A VCR, DVD Player or Blue Ray or a combo of the three? Only have a DVD player.

 

Would you like custom icons as a gift? I'd like to say yes but truthfully I probably would not use them.

 

What is your favourite snack food, something you could grab any time? Cheese, chips, salami, dried fruit, cup noodles, cookies, jerky.

Ebooks? I don't have a reader, so no. I like the feeling of having a real book anyway.

 

Nail polish: I have all of three bottles (Orly Halley's Comet, It's Not Rocket Science; China Glaze Sexy in the City) right now, and I rarely use them, but I do so love pretty colors, so a 'maybe' for me.

 

Soft/plushy things: I already have several. I like the hand-sewn bat shaped cupholders I saw in a previous IGI thread though - but I don't count those as plushies really. Someone mentioned amigurumi, which I do like and also don't consider typical plushies.

 

What hobby/craft would you like to learn how to do? I like playing with yarn and beads and all manner of shiny fiddly things. I used to have a bag of cheap ol' yarn and crochet hooks around here, but they're long gone, haha. Maybe I'll pick up crochet or knitting or embroidery in the future, but I'm not sure I have time at the moment.

 

Are you into Austen's books? They're okay.

 

Do you read Tarot cards? If not, would you be interested? I have a deck or two floating around here somewhere that I haven't touched in ages...I don't think I will use them much. I think they're interesting, but I'll leave that sort of interpretation to other people.

 

So for those of you who are into Harry Potter at all, which house do you think you'd be sorted into? I like the Slytherin and Ravenclaw colors, but HP quizzes usually put me in either of the other two houses, alas.

 

What, if anything, is your guilty TV watching pleasure? Reality shows. I liked the photoshoots from ANTM, and...that's basically it.

 

If you cosplay or need a costume for your bellydance/burlesque hobby, is there anything you need/want for it? I don't, so nothin'.

 

Celebrity crush?: Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Robert Glenister, Chris Hemsworth, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp (only in PotC though), Alan Rickman, Christoper Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Catherine Zeta Jones, Angelina Jolie, Justin Long, Alton Brown, Misha Collins, Jensen Ackles, Patrick Warburton. A very, um, loose definition of 'crush' here.

 

Knitted things?: I'd love them!

 

What about DVDs? I already have, in one format or another, most of the shows / movies that I like, but am not averse to more.

 

Do you prefer widescreen or formatted? Either one is fine - I tend to have a slight preference for widescreen, but it really doesn't matter.

 

Music: Any preference towards MP3 or CD? Nope!

 

Do you like scented tarts? Tarts and candles, love 'em. I already have tons honestly, but I wouldn't mind more (despite my family's growing alarm). Ahem.

 

Lip balms? I also already have more than I'll use, but I suppose I wouldn't mind them either.

 

Booze. Do you drink it, would you like some? I like it, but I can't drink much. I prefer sweeter drinks (port, fruity cocktails).

 

What is your favorite artist or art style? Renaissance, baroque, rococo, and so on - anything from those eras or movements generally makes me happy in my pants (I'm particularly fond of still life, and

mythological/historical paintings and sculpture, and...), as well just about everything art deco and art nouveau. I also like Hokusai, Toulouse-Lautrec, Magritte, Rockwell, Rothko and Escher (forgive the hodgepodge of names, I must admit I don't 'get' a lot of modern art so I tend to be increasingly picky the more contemporary the period). As far as non-fine-art goes - okay, so comic book artists - I really like Eiichiro Oda, Kubotite, CLAMP, Oh! Great, and Murata Yusuke. Vintage and cute things are awesome, too!

 

Hallowe'en plans? None so far. I'm not very social and there are never trick or treaters around here.

Mix CDs? Sure, I love discovering new music!

 

Girlyness level? I appreciate expensive shoes, bags, clothes and perfume, but also never wear makeup (seriously, I have manymany lip balms and one tragic, worn and battered eyeliner), am blind to the concept of romance/flirting/relationships, and would rather win a shopping spree at Fry's than at Macy's. You decide.

 

Baked goods: Yes, please!

 

Gifts for other household members: I'll share edibles with my mum, but otherwise she's too picky and practical to use things she didn't buy herself. Certainly she's never used any of my gifts...

 

Are you someone who'd rather have lots of small testers of different things on your wishlist, or would you rather have one or two "big" things? I'm happy with anything! I think the majority (or all) of my wishlist would be easy to rehome, whether it's a bottle or an imp / decant.

 

Social networking: I have a bunch of accounts but hardly touch any of them.

 

Would you like to receive Groupons or similar deals/gift certificates from your Witch? Sure! If they're to places like World Market or big stores with a lot of variety that'd probably be best - activities are usually too cost prohibitive, coupon or no. Restaurants would be okay, but I really don't eat out that often.

 

How about tshirt/bottoms sizes? I usually take a small in crew necks, or an XL in babydolls. I don't mind if they're a little bigger either, since I'm tall and I'm willing to have my clothes a little baggy if they cover more. I'm not sure about bottoms, maybe a 12 or 13? I'm about 37 - 33 - 42" anyway, and usually wear lowriders. That was probably not helpful at all, sorry.
