If you could make a scent that represents where you live (or have lived), what would be the ingredients? I think I will have to think about this a bit more, as the only places I've lived are TO, and Grim City.

 

Are you in need of Roller bottles or anything of the like? I'd love to find a small roller bottle that could hold 2-3 decants worth, possibly with a metal ball, though I'm open to anything really!

Just curious, but if your witch was to make an amigurumi critter (or other plushie) just for you, what would it be? OMG! Leon Kennedy, or maybe the Car from Supernatural, or a Tardis, or the 10th or 11th Dr.!!!! I also love octopi, and squid! maybe a Platypus!

 

Would you want a local/tourist item from your witch? Like a t-shirt, mug or shot glass? Big mugs would be welcome, and maybe a kinda cool keychain.

 

Okay, who wants NAlloween and some Vampire Apothecary goodness? Not ventured in that direction, and I'm slightly afraid to with out being on top of all my finances just yet.

Who is your fav Disney Villian/villianess? How about hero/herione? (doesn't have to be specifically Disney though) I answered this in thread, but I'm not sure about villain to be honest, I do like the evil witch from Emperor's New Groove. I have this weird black and white mentality when it comes to Disney movies and most books I read. I usually can't feel for the villain at all because I usually feel they deserve what ever they get. Again, I'm weird. I love Jasmine, Esmerelda, Belle and Briar Rose(sleeping beauty). Ariel is up there, as is Mulan and Pocahontas.

Do you collect stones/rocks? I'm talking like "semi" precious stones, ie moonstone, bloodstone, quartz ect. Are there any that you're looking for at the moment? Are you in need of a stone but don't know which kind? I do collect them and I would take whatever my witch felt was a good idea to send to me.

 

What's your favorite Halloween Music? Rocky Horror Picture Show. Though I find I don't really listen to Hallowe'en specific music, like I listen to Christmas specific music.

If you have played before, what are some of the most memorable things you've gotten? What really made you go WOW? If you haven't played, same thing, but not limited to SW. Schackjj had someone make me a nest(bowl) and some little owls, they were my favourite from that round (though the Boo scented lotion was a VERY close second! ) Unlaced got me into Weibilt, and I'm pretty sure it was her that had someone send me a few soundtracks that had gotten lost when my computer decided crashing was an awesome idea. I've loved EVERYTHING I've gotten from my witches, because it shows me that they are listening to what I have to say, and they're taking the time to make/buy something specially for me.

Do you like garlic? Do you REALLY like garlic? Would you want to try some really unusual garlic stuff, like garlic cheese or garlic fudge or garlic chocolate, etc., etc., etc.? mmmmmmmmm Garlic. I am totally up for trying anything once. Except bugs. I don't think I could eat bugs.

 

Can I talk to you about the living dead? How do you feel about Zombies? Please don't. I have more knowledge of zombies, and have seen more zombie movies then I have ever wanted in my life. RE is an exception, as is the Abhorsen series (mainly because it took me years to realize that the "dead" as they're called, are actually zombies. Duh.)

If you happened to be my Witchee, is there something you'd like from the Arcana Halloween update? Couldn't find it randomly enough....

 

How many bottles of BPAL do you have? Uhh... maybe 20 ish? A Ton of imps/decants though and quite a few roller bottles with random amounts of oil in them too.

 

Is there any exercise program that you're interesting in learning? Meditation, Yoga, Pilates, Belly Dancing, Zumba ect? Or if you do any of these (or anything else sport related) are there any things you need/want? Candles, music, mats, water bottles ect? I have wanted to do Yoga and Belly dancing for a long time. I think Pilates would be something really good to get into, considering I really do want to loose weight. I keep hearing about Zumba, but I haven't looked into it.

I have a frame with 3 wedding pictures, a self portrait I painted in Highschool and a picture painted for me by Karen07 from one of the art swaps. I also have a picture of a lioness and her three cubs in my bathroom. I have a few prints that need to be framed and go up, and I would love to find an Alphonse Mucha mounted poster to put up somewhere.

Do you read/like fantasy? What kind of books or authors do you love? Which one would you like to read? Would you like gifts related to it? I love fantasy, I've read the Dragonlance books, and am always looking for more to read.

 

Soaps : do you like them? What brands? What scents? Anything you're dying to try? Oooh soap! I love Tarty's soaps, some lush (quite particular with their soaps to be honest) and I like Villainess, and I have a few others favourited on my etsy wl too.

 

I wondered if my witch or any witch would enjoy things like nice pens to draw with or anything similar? I love coloured pens!

 

For those who are yarnies, would you like other-than-yarn witchery? Hooks, needles? Preference of material? Do you use/would you like handmade stitch markers, etc.? I could always use some new circulars, though I'd have to look up the size that's best. Probably us size 5, in a 16" length. Totally fine for stitch markers.

 

Does anyone do altered books? Would you be interested in old books to alter? Any type or title in particular? This could be neat, though I don't think I'd alter one on my own, one that's already altered would be cool.

 

Did someone ask about incense yet? Would you like some? Something to store or burn it in? What scents? What form? I can't, I'm pretty sure I'm allergic.

Who likes hair toys, and if so what kind? I could always use new hair pins, I'm thinking something like this: image found here.

Headbands too, though not too tight, and not ones that go all the way around my head (my hair is still too short in the back (only about an inch long)

 

Does any art we may send need to be child safe, either in the actually safe sense or the non X rated sense? Nope! Send away!

 

In the knitted/crocheted things area, would you want wrist warmers, 1/2 gloves, a neck warmer(the kind that pretty much just goes around your neck and maybe fastens instead of being long and loose like a scarf), slippers, or hats? I have a few favourites on my ravely favourites list, but I like wrist warmers, or even full fore arm warmers (biking I hate wearing a big sweater but it's going to get cooler before I decide to turn to my winter jacket.)

 

How do you feel about altered/recycled/upcycled items of clothing or accessories? Sure!

What is your favourite habitat and climate to live in? How about to visit? (ie. forest, canyons, mountains, by the beach; temperate, tropical...) I love mountains, and wish I could live near some. I also like my winter and autumn.

Are there any particular movies, tv shows or cd’s that you’ve been meaning to buy for years but just never got round to getting? Would you mind a gently used dvd/cd if your witch had it or could get it?? I think I have a good amount of those on my amazon wl, and yes, as long as it doesn't skip I tend not to care where it came from (a good portion of the dvds Q and I own are previously viewd from Blockbuster.)

 

Is there anything from the Possets' Hallowe'en update you're lusting after? I looked, but I can't remember, and I don't want to look again, I just can't afford to fall in love right now.

 

Would you like a custom/altered toy either from a seller or from your witch (like My Little Pony, or a Barbie or any particular toy that can be changed?) Maybe a rubber ducky made to look like one of my fandoms. (I have a small collection of rubber duckies)

If I were to knit a scarf, would you prefer a skinny one, or a wide one? A short one, that when wrapped once around your neck will just tuck under your jacket, or a long one, at least to your waist? I like wide, medium length scarves, I tend to wear them over my head like a hood when it's really cold. Though there's a hood I have on my favourites list on ravelry that I want to make at some point, it's so cute!

 

Don't like scarves? Would a rectangular shawl or triangular shawl be more to your taste? Any is good!

 

How do you feel about recipes? YES!

What kind of a cook/baker are you? I can be very ambitious, and like to cook/bake.

Are you happiest calling for delivery or microwaving a lean cuisine, Or will Food Network be asking you to host their new program? lately I've been calling for delivery more then is really good, but Q and I have just been lazy about grocery shopping.

How do you feek about silly, funny knick-knack, dollar store stuff, stickers, magnets etc? Would you like receiving that kind of stuff or rather not? I love stickers, but nothing else please, I have a hard time finding places for all my junk stuff as it is

 

Is there a specific book you've been wanting to get but haven't found the time or the opportunity to? TOO many! Changes by Jim Butcher, The Last Unicorn, uh.... *blush* there are more, I just can't seem to think of them atm...

 

Do you read mangas/watch animes? Which ones? Do you have a particular favourite? Would you like to receive managas or anything related to them? I have a bunch of Manga, and I'm not really interested in more to be honest. The only that I would be interested in if my witch could find them would be the 3rd, and 4th volume of the Return to Labyrinth, based on Jim Henson's Labyrinth, and any of the Sailor Moon graphic novels. I have a few but they're so hard to come by, I'm tempted to sell the few I have and just keep the digital file of them all. I would adore a full set though.

 

Are you open to receiving things that are not on your wishlist, maybe something your Witch thinks you might like? I answered this in thread, but figuring out how to find my posts in the threads now is a pain in my arse, so I'll just say, Yes and no. I can be slightly picky when it comes to things, though I'm mostly all for stuff that is similar. which seems a contradiction, but it's just so hard for me to put into words. I would be happy with anything my witch picked out for me though (I'm weird)

 

If you have something on a wishlist that we could craft INSTEAD of buying, though it might not end up identical to the wishlist thing, would it be okay to craft it instead? Obviously we don't want to copy anyone else's design, but if we can replicate the flavour or intent that you like without stepping on toes? OF COURSE! I think that's one of the main points of SW.

 

OK, I know that lots of folks love socks. Do you have a preference of length? Materials? Patterns? I love socks, but tend to only wear ankle or knee length socks. Something a bit higher then ankle is ok too, and I love the Tabi style from Sock Dreams, they're the ones that have the big toe separate from all the rest.

 

How do people feel about word magnets, I would love some! Dr. Who, Supernatural, Buffy, Sailor Moon, True Blood, Romance inspired.

 

If you could have any costume, or if you aren't into costumes, necklace or other accessory, from any movie character, what would it be? I'm dying to get making my Cloud City Leia costume, and eventually make Q a Han Solo costume. I also want to make both costumes Leia wears in A New Hope. I love the costumes in The Tudors, and OMG so many others! (I need to start a list of stuff I want to make and see if I can start making stuff!) I also want a few pieces of "ren faire clothing" to mix and match so that when I go to a ren faire I have stuff to wear. I'm a wench at heart so something wenchy would be awesome.

 

How do you feel about samples/decants of things other than BPAL? Soap slices, lotion/scrub/shower gel decants, single use make-up/beauty products, etc. Bring it on!

For tea drinkers, do you prefer loose leaf or tea bags? Either! I can be lazy sometimes, and I only have 2 metal tea balls, and they're starting to get questionable lol!

 

If you would enjoy something of a knitted persuasion, do you have a preference on type of thing? Since making a scarf for someone who has 10 might be a smidge excessive? Also, how do people feel about shawls? One can not have too many scarves! I have my favourites yea, but I do like having different choices! As for shawls, I like em, though I don't have any

 

Is there a TV, movie or literary character that you are a lot alike, or would like to be alike? I find that I'm similar to Usagi Tsukino, (Sailor Moon) in that I care deeply about my friends and I can put other people before myself.

 

Is there anything you need for your kitchen, ie measuring cups, spoons, grater, ect? I could really use one of those spoon rest things, I tend to just put the food covered spoon on the counter at the moment, or if I'm making from a package, I'll put it on the package.

 

Music, DO you prefer Live or Studio? Edited or explicit? I enjoy live if I'm seeing it live, but prefer studio if I'm listening at home. And by all means, give me some explicit! I'm usually the one singing the proper lyrics during a radio edit.

 

If you are an animal lover, is there a specific type/breed that you love most? I love cats, always have. Household cats I prefer siamese, or relation there of, and black cats. I love lions (um, ya think? lol!) and panthers. I also adore Otters! And most bird of prey as well, including Owls.

Let's say, hypothetically speaking, that you have some children/spawn (1 or more), and, hypothetically speaking, your witch would like to spoil them a little but knows nothing of kids these days. What do they like or dislike? Also is there anything a (sane) adult might think they would like that you don't think is appropriate for whatever reason? (I'm thinking of things like temp tattoos, make up, things that make noise, or anything else that might be bad for non-obvious reasons.) no worries, I has no kids. Yet anyway.

 

Is there anything you would like that can be delivered over the internet? Things like fanfic recs, cat macros, mp3s you are looking for, how-to or amusing videos, things like that. I love reading fanfiction, I have a horrible soft spot for AH Twilight stories (AH=All Human) I like Buffy/Spike, Buffy/Giles stuff too, and I'm pretty open to others in the fandoms I like, but I prefer my fanfiction to be erotic/smut.

 

What would your last meal be if it could be anything in the world (sky is the limit, drinks too, the whole shebang) Maryland Crab, with those biscuits from Red Lobster, Roasted garlic & chive mashed potatoes, Sushi, namely stuff with Eel and salmon, and thai salad rolls. I would also need to have a small piece (or two) of southern fried chicken, with biscuits and gravy, some gumbo and jambalaya in there too, (the sausage in the gumbo and jambalaya would need to be double smoked) Drink wise, I'd need an avacado milkshake, some japanese style green tea, some apple cider, and an Earl Grey Misto, with a couple shots of Jack to wash it all down. Yes I love food. Yes I glut myself all too often. *blush*

what interests you from the latest lab update? I was able to order decants of most everything, though I'm still interested in trying (like 1/4 imp) of Hallowe'en: New Orleans, Pom IV, and I kinda want to try Pumpkin Latte, even though I can't do her pumpkin note at all (could be a nice room scent, but I could just be fooling myself. LOL!) I'm also interested in trying the Bean Tea Party scent, but I'm slightly scared of the flowers!

 

How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? And if you're in favor, do you prefer classic/contemporary or cutesy stuff? I love note paper and envelopes and such! I can never find stuff! I like cutesy stuff, like smiling sushi and stuff like that

 

Would you like homemade preserves (e.g. marinated vegies, pickled onions, chilli jam?) I gotta be honest, I'm kinda picky about this kinda stuff, so best that it not get sent.

My top 25 played aren't really the best to go off, since for like 3 weeks straight I was listening to only the Glee soundtracks on my ipod... lol!

Vampire shows, literature, etc? Yay or nay? I've been obsessed with vampires for a long fricken time! Twilight isn't actually vampires, but I do like Nancy Kilpatricks Vamperotica books (see a question further down) I also like True Blood, Buffy, Angel, Dracula (would love the book Dracula!) Besides True Blood I'm not really into the current vampires, though I wouldn't kick Jasper (Whitlock) Hale outa bed Dracula 2000 is one of my favourite movies that I don't have.

 

If you play console video games, what game systems do you have and what games would you love to have?

I love playing video games! I'm not a gamer girl by any means but I like playing them! I have a wii (wii points are awesome!) I have my own DSlite, and there's a ps2 and a game cube in the house. I also love Zelda and Mario games.

 

How do you all feel about flowers and plants? Flower and plant seeds? Drawings of flowers or plants? Pressed flowers? I want to have a green thumb, but I don't think that anything would grow here unless it's VERY sun hardy! My balcony faces west and we get the sun from 2pm on.

If you are a crafter, would you like to receive supplies from your witch (beads, fabric, yarn/roving etc?) I love getting yarn for knitting, and I'm really interested in learning how to spin my own yarn, so roving would be neat as well! I also like to make jewellery, so wire, jumprings, stone beads, findings would be awesome too! I can always use more circular knitting needles too!

What movie scared the bejeezus out of you as a child? Odd as it sounds, I could never watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (original) not sure why... As for scaring me, I once watched a zombie movie, I think it was Dawn of the Dead, or some such movie (again original) and I went around the house looking under things, like the kitchen table..., because I was scared that zombies had gotten into my house.

Do you have a special symbol or totem that is meaningful to you? The Oak tree, it represents strength, and it's what I use when I feel like I have none left. I also love the Moon as a symbol, and the wind (which is rather hard to visualize...) Also wanted to add 7 pointed stars, and labyrinth images (the symbol, not the movie ;P ) For totems, Otters, ravens, black cats, spiders, lions.

 

Do you need a box for your bpal bottles? Your imps? Your something else to put in a box stuff? I would love an imp box, since right now they're just in a flat rate box....

 

If you could be any person, being, or animal from Fantasy what or who would you be? For person, I'd be an Abhorsen from Gart Nix's Abhorsen series. For being, I adore the Disreputable Dog, also from the Abhorsen series, as for animal, a Gryphon I think? Or maybe just a vampire LOL! (But not a twiampire, those aren't really vampires.)

 

If you could go back to any point in time, where, when, why? Need to think about this one a bit more. I have this big fascination with Queen Elizabeth the 1st, so I might go to her court. I also love the Regency period, again in London. I also would love to go back to the time of the Norse gods, or back to Greece when they were building the monuments to the Gods.

 

Favorite Halloween Candy/Treat? Reese pumpkins are awesome as are small Mars Bars (I <3 them!), I love candy apples, but the red candy candy apples, not the newer types with chocolate and caramel. I don't actually remember if I've ever eaten candy corn...

 

What are your favorite baked goods/homemade treats? I love cookies! I've always wanted to try snickerdoodles, but I like pumpkin cookies, chocolate chip, cookies with nuts (walnuts or filberts are the best!) and I like tea flavoured shortbreads.

Socks? Sock Dreams? Anyone? OMG yes! my favourite Sock Dreams type socks are tabi, where the big toe is separate from the rest of the toes.

 

What is something you use to comfort yourself when feeling yucky, depressed, or in pain? Tea, usually a ginger or peppermint tea, curl up with my favourite blanket and either watch a movie (usually something I've seen a million times, like Ever After, Ella Enchanted, Labyrinth) or read a cheesy romance novel. I find I sleep a lot when I'm sick too.

 

Favorite Halloween/Scary movies/books: I really like Halloweentown, they were a great series! I like watching some horror, but mostly Q is the one that rents them. I do like the RE series (games and movies, and am going to start reading the books) Never seen Hocus Pocus (though I'd love to) and it's been ages since I saw The Nightmare Before Christmas.

 

What would the name of your custom blend be? The description? I'm gonna have to get back to you on this one. lol!

 

COMIC BOOKS. Do you read them? Are there any series you like, or some you would like to try? Love comic books/graphic novels/manga! I have a bit of a collection, but wouldn't mind getting something new If my witch wanted I could give them a list of what I do have.

 

Warm drinks? I love apple cider, and love teas and tisanes. I'm open to all kinds of teas/tisanes, but prefer that they don't taste too strong. I also am starting to like coffee a little bit, but it must be decaf. I also like hot chocolate, but it's not something I drink very often.

When you go to an etsy wishlist, it will tell you what things are sold. If you click on the sold item, sometimes it will give options that are similar to what was sold, but not identical, would you like the similar item or prefer not to get it at all unless it's the same item? How picky are you? I think most of the stuff on there can be used as an idea of what I like, I might be picky about some of it, but probably not lol!

 

Do you wear make up? Yes sometimes, I'm interested in trying mineral eye shadows since all I tend to wear is eye liner, mascara, eyeshadow and lip balm/gloss.

 

Disney movies, Yay or Nay, and favourites if you do like them? I adore most Disney, but I prefer pre 2000 stuff, favourites include: Hunchback of Notre Dame (I <3 Clopin) The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast (Beast in human form is yum) Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Rescuers, The Sword in the Stone, The Black Cauldron, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Hercules, and while I prefer the stuff from before I do enjoy The Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Meet The Robinsons, Bolt, and would like to see Treasure Planet. (Of these I own Aladdin & Hunchback) I also love the Narnia films (Own the first one) I also enjoyed the 3rd Cinderella movie, A Twist in Time.

What is your favourite snack food, something you could grab any time?: I have a couple, I love dried fruit, prefer dried apples, but like pretty much all of it. I love rice cracker mix! <3 It's so yummy, with a hint of soy sauce flavour on the outside. (Damn now I want some, I haven't had it in a while! Need to find a Bulk Barn) And Worcestershire flavoured crisps. I am DYING for some right now!

 

E-books: Sure! I don't have a reader, but I assume I could get a program for my iphone

 

Nail Polish: I LOVE nail polish, and would love to try some of the Zoya brand. I'm also running out of base&top coats. I like RED reds, blues, purples, pinks, greens, browns, silvers. I'd love Metalic silver/gold/copper/bronze colours.

 

Soft/plushy things: I love the plushy things! I like the Plushy Microbes! My favourites are: Anthrax, beer yeast, chicken pox, cough, egg, flu, kissing disease, plague, red blood cell, sore throat, sperm, swine flu & yougurt

 

What hobby/craft would you like to learn how to do? I would love to learn how to spin yarn. I've seen people do it before and it's just awesome looking! and the colours of fleece that you can get!

 

For those who decorate for Halloween, do you prefer cute decorations or creepy ones?: I like slightly creepy cute, and devilishly cute type decorations. I love black Cats ravens and spiders for decorations. (I love spiders) I want to say though that I'm not a big fan of gore type decorations.

 

Also, as part of the cute-or-creepy question, would you want hand made, molded, glazed (by yours truly!) ceramic decorations (napkin rings, potporri/tart warmers, etc) to add to your stock? I would love a tart warmer, since I don't have one at this time.

 

how do you feel about mortars and pestles I love my Mortar and Pestle, but I can always use more! (The one I have is used for savoury spices, I'd like one for tea leaves)

 

Is there anything you have a phobia of, or that would make you go "squick" if you saw it in a package?

What, if anything, is your guilty TV watching pleasure? I love True Blood, and The Tudors as kinda a soft core porn type show I love the Food Network, and I have a soft spot for challenge cooking shows (chopped, dinner impossible, top chef)

 

If you cosplay or need a costume for your bellydance/burlesque hobby (or any other hobby which needs dressup/different from your normal wear), is there anything you need/want for it? I want to start cosplay, but I don't know where to start! I would love to make a few of the Princess Leia costumes from A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back, and I'd like to make a Sailor Moon costume of some sort (not sure which scout or costume) but I can't think of anything off the top of my head. Sorry! I do know I'd like to get some Ren Fair clothes, probably a wench costume of some sort

Knitted things?: I've ALWAYS wanted a pair of hand knit socks, I'm just not experienced enough at the moment to make them.

DVDs: Do you prefer widescreen or formatted? I like widescreen, but again it doesn't really matter.

 

Music: Any preference towards MP3 or CD? Either or, doesn't much matter to me! It's just going to end up on my computer and put into itunes anyway

 

Do you like scented tarts? Yes, but I don't really have a burner for tarts. I do like foody scents for tarts, or autumn scents. (Bath and Body works had a great candle in a jar called Falling Leaves, and it was heavenly!) Stuff with cinnamon or stuff like that is usually pretty good.

 

Lip balms? I love lip balms, I like My Lip Stuff, and have always wanted to try Ganache for lips

 

Do you have any body mods? If so, do you need any new jewelry, o-rings, plugs, etc (and if so, what size, length, etc)? Do you like pro-body mod stickers? I have a bunch of tattoos, (with plans for MANY more!) And I'm actually thinking of getting my lip pierced, but Don't know how that would look. Pre body-mod stickers for a stud piercing would be kinda neat.

 

Booze. Do you drink it, would you like some?: I like my Jack Daniel's, and don't mind a few other things, but I don't think Booze can be shipped?

 

What is your favorite artist or art style? (including if you have links to favorite pictures/paintings/photographs) I adore Art Nouveau! It's just so beautiful, and my favourite artist is Mucha. I also like this guys Disney Heroes Collection. Ahh hot imaginary men in underwear, yea I like it! Hallowe'en plans? Probably, nothing. Though I'm gonna see what parties are happening and maybe go to one. I don't really have a costume this year, I hate wearing the same thing every year, and don't have the money to make one, so I might go through my fabric stash and see if there's anything I can make.

 

Mix CDs? Oh yes! I love listening to new music!

 

Girlyness level? I answered this in the thread, and now have lost my answer! I'm a jeans and tshirt gal, but like my fitted tees rather then crew. I wear skirts sometimes, but rarely, and I love painting my nails (finger and toe) Like doing some stuff to my hair, but usually just pull it back in a pony when it's long enough (I'm growing it out, so anything to hold hair back, bobby pins, small combs, small clips would be AWESOME!) and I like pink things, but not clothes. I like random pink things, like my cd case, or my ipone case, or my DSlite, or other random house hold things. I really want to get a bubblegum pink bath towel set. (I'd like to see Q steal my towel then! )

Gifts for other household members: I'm sure Q would love something! He got a bath bomb before that is still not used, (I will get him in the bath soon!) but he loves anything Horror related, He even rents Horror movies in other languages because he just loves them that much!

 

Are you someone who'd rather have lots of small testers of different things on your wishlist, or would you rather have one or two "big" things? I think my WL is pretty clear on that, I have bottle wants and imp/decant only wants, but any of my bottle wants can be decants as well, and the imp/decant only is usually just to test/sniff so they could just be small amount testers.
