I will post answers to SW question and other helpful stuff here. They'll be in reverse order, so you can always see the most recent stuff first and not have to go scrolling for things.

 

 

So, who here loves pomegranates? Are the good as a fruit, a flavoring or just a scent? I do like pomegranates, both as a flavor and a scent. I just bought a box of some lovely pomegranate white tea at World Market, in fact. And I discovered at Will Call that I really like Pomegranate II.

 

How are all the witchees fixed for purses--lunchbags, etc? You can always use more purses. I personally really need a cool tote bag to take out of town when we visit the hubby's parents on weekends, something just the right size for 2-3 days worth of clothes. We have a huge suitcase for long trips, but nothing that really works for just a weekend.

 

Now, I have a question for you. About notes. Which are your favourite ones? Do you have a kind of "note top ten?" Anything that works particularly well on you? Do you have a perfume category (foody, floral, aquatic, musky) that you favour? And are there any notes you have never tried, but think would work well on you?

Would you like a sugar skull decorated by your witch? Or do you like sugar skull stuff in general? That would be awesome! Love Day of the Dead stuff.

ZOMG, yes!!! I would kill for more Pumpkin Cake Lust and WINCHESTER!!!! It is one of my all-time favorites. I also love anything Golden Pumpkin. /dies

If I were to knit a scarf, would you prefer a skinny one, or a wide one? A short one, that when wrapped once around your neck will just tuck under your jacket, or a long one, at least to your waist? The longer & fatter the better.

 

Don't like scarves? Would a rectangular shawl or triangular shawl be more to your taste? I like shawls too.

 

Would you like a custom/altered toy either from a seller or from your witch (like My Little Pony, or a Barbie or any particular toy that can be changed?) Sure, that would be fun.

 

Do you like the candy apple, candy corn or pumpkin spice kisses? Oh my yes. I LOVE the pumpkin spice. Haven't tried candy apple, but they sound good too.

 

Anne Taintor, anyone? Yes please! I especially love this and these (I have a sort of addiction to post-its).

 

If you are a tea lover, what are your flavor preferences? Green? Black? Herbal (I know, technically those are NOT teas, but tisanes)? Flavored blacks/greens? I love green, black & white teas. I like them flavored too (I tend to prefer fruity ones over, for example, caramel or something of that nature). I like herbals. I like chai. I don't think I've really tried rooibos.

 

Are there any particular movies, tv shows or cd's that you've been meaning to buy for years but just never got round to getting? Would you mind a gently used dvd/cd if your witch had it or could get it?? Alias. I loved that show. Gently used would be fine.

 

 

 

So I have a question for y'all in the hope my witchee will answer - is there anything you would like from Conjure Oils general catalogue or the new updates that isn't already on your wishlist? Ooh, I've been meaning to try her stuff. Halloweenie/recent wishes: Glasya Labolas, Incubus, Ol'Scratch, Satanel, Alien Autopsy 2010, Witching Hour 2010, Black Cat Crossed My Path, Guardian Angel (13 freaking vanillas?? )

 

What is your favourite habitat and climate to live in? How about to visit? (ie. forest, canyons, mountains, by the beach; temperate, tropical...) I prefer cooler climes. I love mountains, forests and the ocean.

How do people feel about edible arrangements? www.ediblearrangements.com Not really my thing.

 

Anyone need address/phone type books? Nah. All my stuff is online.

 

Do you read/like fantasy? What kind of books or authors do you love? Which one would you like to read? Would you like gifts related to it? Oh yes. My goodreads profile has lots of info on the types of things I like to read. And yes, fantasy gifts would definitely be appreciated.

Soaps : do you like them? What brands? What scents? Anything you're dying to try? Yes, soap is love! I love tarty's Paintbox soaps and Arcana too. Villainess Anti-Hero is a fave for the hubby to use. I've been dying to try Lush soap.

Did someone ask about incense yet? Would you like some? Yes, I do love incense. What I really need are some of those coals for herbal/powdered incense.

Any oddball free things you collect or would want saved for you? Not that I can think of.

If you happened to be my Witchee, is there something you'd like from the Arcana Halloween update? I am addicted to Arcana's Sleepy Hollow. It is one of my all-time favorites. I have some perfume, but more soap is always welcome. I also love Kincardine Maiden and want to try Straitjacket, Little Ghoulie, Dia de los Muertos, and Skeleton Key.

How many bottles of BPAL do you have? Um. 108 BPAL. 229 total bottles from various etailers.

 

Is there any exercise program that you're interesting in learning? Meditation, Yoga, Pilates, Belly Dancing, Zumba etc? Or if you do any of these (or anything else sport related) are there any things you need/want? Candles, music, mats, water bottles etc? I'm into yoga, as well as lifting weights and general cardio type stuff. What I really need is something like this (maybe my witch is crafty?).

 

Who likes hair toys, and if so what kind? I loved hair sticks and other cute things when my hair was longer, but right now it's not long enough to do much of anything with, besides put it up for working out. (Yes, I'm growing it back out.)

 

Does any art we may send need to be child safe, either in the actually safe sense or the non X rated sense? My SS doesn't live with us, so as someone else said: dangerous and dirty is fine!

In the knitted/crocheted things area, would you want wrist warmers, 1/2 gloves, a neck warmer(the kind that pretty much just goes around your neck and maybe fastens instead of being long and loose like a scarf), slippers, or hats? Yes please!

 

How do you feel about altered/recycled/upcycled items of clothing or accessories? Very cool.

 

Is there anything you want from the Violette Market update? I'm drooling a bit over Diablo Skull, Marty (Magic Fingers) McVay, Miss Danie Doe, Miss Dixie Hart, Miss Julia Star, Miss Lilly Mae, Raven's Midnight Pumpkin Patch, Glowing Jack O' Lantern, Golden Autumn & Witch's Apple. Some of the others look great too. What an awesome update!

How do you feel about recipes? What kind of a cook/baker are you? Are you happiest calling for delivery or microwaving a lean cuisine? Or will Food Network be asking you to host their new program? If I send you something home made would you like the reciepe for it? If you are someone who doesn't want baked goods sent, would you like a collection of some of my favorite recipes? How about home made mixes or kits? Kind of like the cookie in a jar thing, where you would need to add the perishable ingredients? For the most part, Ben is the cook around our house, and he is oddly resistant to using recipes (which irks me! they're such a great way to try new stuff!). I have about 4 things that I cook and cook well, when it comes to "real" food. I like baking, tho, and have great recipes for cookies and cheesecake bites. So those sorts of recipes would definitely be welcome, as would a jar of cookie mix or similar.

 

Are you open to receiving things that are not on your wishlist, maybe something your Witch thinks you might like? Of course!

 

If you have something on a wishlist that we could craft INSTEAD of buying, though it might not end up identical to the wishlist thing, would it be okay to craft it instead? Obviously we don't want to copy anyone else's design, but if we can replicate the flavour or intent that you like without stepping on toes? For example, you like some simple earrings with moon charms on them. We have moon charms and earring backs, though of course not exactly the same ones. Did I already answer this question? I can't remember. Anyway, that would be lovely.

 

OK, I know that lots of folks love socks. Do you have a preference of length? Materials? Patterns? I prefer either footie socks (like this) or knee socks.

 

How do you feel about silly, funny knick-knack, dollar store stuff, stickers, magnets etc? Would you like receiving that kind of stuff or rather not? Sure.

 

Is there a specific book you've been wanting to get but haven't found the time or the opportunity to? See Amazon and B&N wish lists.

 

Do you read mangas/watch animes? Which ones? Do you have a particular favorite? Would you like to receive mangas or anything related to them?

Yes. I think several are in my questionnaire under favorite movies. If it's not there, I'm also a big fan of Witch Hunter Robin.

 

How do people feel about word magnets? They're great.

 

What are you guys going to be aiming for in the Inquisition? Um... I kinda like both.

 

Is there a TV, movie or literary character that you are a lot alike, or would like to be alike? Not that I can think of at the moment.

 

Is there anything you need for your kitchen, ie measuring cups, spoons, grater, etc? Measuring spoons would be great. Like so many things, the kitchen spirits tend to snatch them.

 

Music, DO you prefer Live or Studio? Edited or explicit? When it comes to recorded music, I prefer studio (tho my ultimate preference is to actually hear it live). I hate edited versions.

 

If you are an animal lover, is there a specific type/breed that you love most? I really love them all, but let me see... I am especially enamored of these cats: Savannahs and Abyssinians. Dog-wise, I love labs & GSDs (for obvious reasons) as well as huskies.

Also flowers and plants- If you like flowers/plants, do you have a favorite(s)? I love roses, stargazer lilies and irises.

 

 

What interests you from the latest lab update? Nothing from the Dawn update is really calling my name. I think the Halloweenie wishes from BPAL and BPTP are in my wish list.

 

How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? And if you're in favor, do you prefer classic/contemporary or cutesy stuff? I am in favor, and I like cute stuff.

 

Would you like homemade preserves (e.g. marinated vegies, pickled onions, chilli jam?) Mmm, yum.

 

If you've got stuff on your BPAL wishlist, would partial bottles be okay? That would be great.

 

Would you like something you have to make yourself? Sure.

 

Say you were my witchee, and I found things on your wishlist that I could totally make. Would you want me to make it? Or would you rather it be purchased for you? Yes! That would be awesome.

 

Who is your favorite soap etailer? Tarty!

 

What about vintage decoration items, teacups, etc etc? A bit dangerous with my house full of feline friends.

 

With regards to your gifts, would you prefer your presents' awesomeness evenly spread out (several packages of pretty terrific things) over the round or a slow build-up of awesomeness (going up from pretty cool things to something super-duper cool at the end) to go out with a bang? Do you have a preference? Whatever works best for my witch is ok with me.

 

What kind of make-up do you wear? What colors? Is there anything you'd like to try but haven't yet? I wear powdered mineral foundations, blush, top coat. Not always mineral eye stuff tho. Favorite brands: Urban Decay, Bare Escentuals, Makeup Forever. Colors: I usually wear purples/plums/etc. and greens. I am addicted to purple eye liners. I'd love to try Urban Decay's shadows (I've tried a bunch of their other stuff, but no shadow yet, and it looks great) and Aromaleigh stuff.

 

Any countries you're interested in? I'm especially interested in Egypt and Italy.

 

Would you enjoy homemade bath products (bath salts, fizzies, etc.) and/or linen sprays? Esp. if scented with some of your favorite BPAL scents? Definitely

 

If you witch made you something and it didn't come out just right, would you still want it? Yes.

 

Are you a foodie? Oh dear lord yes. I just got back from a weekend out of the town with the hubby, and it was all about the food tourism.

 

Any sports fans in the house? What's your favorite sport/team/player? Football! The hubs and I are fans of Georgia (my school), Florida State (his school), Virginia Tech (where his dad works), the Saints & the Panthers.

 

For holidays, do you decorate? Would you like decorative stuff, weenie or otherwise? If so, do you lean towards the elegant, the crafty/folksy, or the more, erm, campy? Yes! I tend toward the cute. For fall, I decorate for the season as well as for Halloween. I love things like pumpkins, hay, foddershocks, etc. for fall, and all many of both cute and creepy things for Halloween. I just got a really cute haunted house flag thing-o to stick on my porch.

 

Do you like journals/notebooks/sketchbooks? Yes.

 

Cake truffles? Yes!

 

Are you interested in mini bottles(under 100ml for hand luggage) of bath and body products? I have plenty of those actually, thanks.

 

Vampire shows, literature, etc? Yay or nay? Yay! I also love werewolves.

 

If you play console video games, what game systems do you have and what games would you love to have? I have a PS3, and I love RPGs and fantasy-type games. I hate FPS.

 

How do you all feel about flowers and plants? Flower and plant seeds? Drawings of flowers or plants? Pressed flowers? Yay!

 

How do you feel about marzipan? I am not a fan.

Are there any international treats that you love and have a hard time finding? Most of the international treats I love are things I can pretty much find. However, I could really use some lovely new chopsticks. Most of mine are getting lost/broken/etc. because they're getting old.

 

Is there anything from the 'Ween BPTP update that you would like but haven't ordered for yourself?

Would you like a bag of dried Honeycrisp apples? Yes please! I would absolutely love that.

 

Steampunk? Love it! I also make Steampunk inspired jewelry.

 

If you were to receive a knitted item (such as a scarf, hat, etc), what colors would you like? And do you have any sensitivies/allergies to any materials? My favorite colors are purple, green, black, grey, deep reds, and more generally, jewel tones. I am sensitive to non-natural fibers (some of them actually make my skin break out; yeah, I know, it's weird) and prefer natural ones.

 

If I were to send you a gift certificate for something would you rather get a physical gift certificate in the mail? Or would you prefer an electronic one that you can use right away? Um, I do enjoy the instant gratification.

 

Favorite Yankee Candles? Or other brands scents? I like foodie scents, like pumpkin things, cake things, etc. (see favorite scents in questionnaire). I don't like floral candles.

Which brings me to a question: would you like a zuni animal fetish? And if so, what animal? Yes I would. Either Owl or Squirrel.

 

What places to do you visit that you'd like a gift card to? Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Sephora, Lush, and ThinkGeek are probably my favorites.

 

Cake or Frosting? Cake. Unless the frosting is really good, I often scrape it off (e.g., just sugar with some food coloring? blech! homemade cream cheese frosting? yum!).

 

What animal would your daemon be? A cat

 

Will you be going out of town during the round, or is there any other time during the round when it would not be ideal for you to receive a package from your witch? I'll be out of town September 20 - 26 (coming back on the 27th). That's really early in the round, so probably no worries anyway, but I wanted to let my witch know just in case, and thought others might have something similar.

 

What movie scared the bejeezus out of you as a child? Pet Sematary. My dad took me to see it at the theater when I was like 10. Bad move, Dad. Very bad move.

COMIC BOOKS. Do you read them? Are there any series you like, or some you would like to try? Oh yes. In fact, last weekend I finally got a couple of new boxes to store them in that are really nice and give me room to expand the collection. I'd kept them in several Rubbermaid storage containers for years that 1) no longer had any room for more, and 2) looked kinda tacky. Now I have two of these, which look way nicer in person and give me lots of room. Also the cats love sleeping on top of them.

 

Warm drinks? Yes please! I love tea, cider & cocoa.

 

Do you have a special symbol or totem that is meaningful to you? Cats. Big cats, domestic cats, all of them.

 

Socks? Anyone? Oh yes. SockDreams!

 

Do you wear makeup? Oh yes. Sephora!

 

Plushies? As in stuffed animals, yay! As in the fetish, um, no.

 

Favorite art/artist? Tough call. I like a lot of artists. I am especially fond of Charles Vess (who also happens to live in the next town over).

 

Guilty TV pleasure? Million Dollar Listing

 

Cosplay/costume? Something cool and steampunk-y

 

Harry Potter house? Ravenclaw

 

Cute or creepy Halloween decorations? Both

 

Scented tarts? I prefer scented oils, but tarts are ok.

 

Booze? Yes, please! I'm a huge wine nerd, and also really like beer and ciders. I don't drink cocktails very often, tho.

 

Body mods? My back is tattooed with a full back piece of burning wings, and I have a couple of other, smaller tattoos too. I am planning my first half sleeve, which I want to incorporate Bastet. I have 00 gauge plugs in my ears, a labret and a monroe (both 16 gauge). Jewelry for these would be lovely! I also have two regular piercings in each ear.

 

What is your favourite snack food, something you could grab any time? Steamed edamame, Japanese-style. Also good cheese, particularly Manchego.

 

DVDs? I actually have a Blu-Ray player, so either format would be great. Widescreen preferred.

 

How do you feel about mortars and pestles? I need a good set.

 

Phobias? Tight spaces is the only fear I have I would consider phobia-level. I am terrified of spiders too, tho.

 

Ceramics? I love pottery! I have a sort of mission to eventually replace all our boring Target plates and bowls with cool pottery pieces.

 

eBooks? Lemme tell ya 'bout me & eBooks. I am addicted. I have both a Kindle and a nook, and I have the apps for each on my Droid X. Plus the desktop apps. I still buy traditional books too (particularly of my favorite authors and series, which I prefer to have hard copies of). But yeah, I LOVE the convenience of eBooks.

 

What hobby/craft would you like to learn how to do? I'm still working on learning to knit.

 

Knitted things? Yes please! I love snuggly scarves and arm warmers and such.

 

MP3s or CDs? Whatever is easiest for my witch. I have all my music imported into iTunes, and I can easily import a CD from my witch too.

 

Lip balms? Another little addiction of mine. My lips chap very easily, so I always have lip balm. I love the stuff.

 

T-Shirt/PJ bottoms size? T-shirt is usually size L in the cute girl shirts (like the BPTP ones). I, ah, don't wear pajamas.

 

Mix CDs? Sure

 

Groupons? Nah

 

Gifts for other household members? Not necessary, of course, but if my witch wanted to include something, that would be very sweet. The dogs like just about any kind of chewie or chew toy (but no stuffed animal types, please; I try to discourage their interest in those); the cats like jingly toys and catnip (they have never eaten any cat treat I've tried to give them -- weirdos); the hubby loves chocolate chip cookies and, of course, beer.

 

Homemade treats? Yes please! I am especially fond of salted caramels, but pretty much any kind of yummy treat is good.

 

Testers vs. full-size? Whatever works best for my witch is ok with me.
