How did you get your forum name? One of my passions is growing antique roses. Alte Rosen means old roses in German which is my background & default second language. I came up with it to use on a gardening forum & then never joined. I thought it was applicable because I came to BPAL looking for a signature rose scent (though I very quickly found other goodies )

What are your favorite types of baked goods? How would you feel about candied citrus peel, chocolate-covered or not? Would you be interested in the mix version of the baked goods or perhaps a spice mix, something along those lines?Right now I'm really into shortbread for some reason & I love reverse chocolate chip cookies (white chocolate chips in dark chocolate dough). Question...do you fret or take it personally when your witch or witchee gets too quiet? Like they figured you out and don't like you? Not really. I usually figure Life gets in the way. I've always been lucky enough to have witchees who squeed with enthusiasm even if they didn't post much in the thread. Having said that, I'm a bit unnerved to have a completely ninja witch this round. I haven't heard a peep but I'm trying to wait & see what happens before I get anxious.

Do you try to figure out who your witch is? Do you want your witch to give you clues? I usually have no idea, clues would be fun

Who has a Kindle? If you do, would you like a Kindle gift card, Kindle accessories, etc. as a gift? Whadda you need? I'm not keen on replacing books with electronic formats & feel like I spend enough time looking at screens already but can see the benefits for people while traveling etc. (Wow, that sounded curmudgeonly )

What styles of jewelry do you like? Bold and funky? Delicate and dainty? Short necklaces, long ones, chokers? Bracelets or anklets? I mostly wear stuff that is scaled a bit large because I'm tall & have large hands etc. & dainty would look silly not to mention I'd be afraid of breaking it. However I often do like my jewellery to have fine details or filigree so I don't think bold & funky is accurate either. Dunno what category would fit. I like necklaces of all lengths & bracelets but don't wear anklets.

I'm pretty stressed about my eldest starting kindergarten in September & all the childcare/work logistics are compounded by my procrastinating tendencies. I'm having trouble with organizing my life now that I'm back at work even though it's only part-time. On the plus side, I've lost all my extra baby weight cause I don't have time to snack! Clearly, vegans are not into soaps with honey or milk, etc. But, if you're NOT a vegan how would you feel about soaps made with emu oil? Squicked out/concerned about animal cruelty, or willing to try them? I'd try it!
