Some questions that I missed in the SW thread

Are you interested in anything from the Villainness Bad Apples update? I just ordered from there for my witchee and resisted all of the new ones. I'm not much for apples but proscription sounds interesting.   If you have a pet, would he/she/they like to receive a treat or a toy as a gift? Does your pet have any dietary restrictions or other preferences w.r.t. said treat? Kitty is pretty happy as is. He does not get treats, he does not wear clothes. He is loved but he is a cat.   If you are in to beauty and makeup related stuff, what kind of stuff do you like? What is your skintone and hair color? Are there any beauty products you've wanted to try but just never purchase? I refuse to wear makeup besides nail polish. I think I might have already answered this one. But I just want to state it again, no makeup, please!   If your witch were going somewhere on a vacation during the round, would you want a little souvenir? I love smooshed pennies. I get them everywhere I go. If you see some and would like to get me one, I would be delighted. I would also appreciate a post card but I'm not interested in anything bigger than those two, unless it just screams me!     Do you prefer soap or shower gel? Please give examples of your favorite scents or brands. SOAP. Shower gel usually gives me a rash. I like villainess, BPTP, and any cold process soap. Most melt and pour gives me a rash. I'm okay with almost any scent as long as there is no rose.     This was a question before, but does anyone here like stones? Just pretty polished stones for use in whatever purposes? I don't really have a thing for stones, but I wouldn't mind some that I could turn into wire wrapped pendants.     And another question; anyone like anything in particular from Think Geek? Nope.   Pinterest, do you have boards you want to share or are you following anyone with great boards you want to share? I'm not one for using other people's ideas to express my 'individuality'. Never heard of it before now, and have no interest.   Do you enjoy puzzles/riddles? (Cryptograms, Sudoku, Crossword, Jigsaw, etc) I like plain old jigsaw puzzles. And jeopardy. Especially when it's teen week because it makes me feel super smart!   Fabulous witches and witchees, perhaps you all could note of you've received MeiLin's goodies? Or if you want? Actually, I had no idea who she was or that she wrote books until this round. They don't sound like something I'd be very interested in. I'm not one for romantic stories or smut.   do you like real sugar skulls? Things with sugar skull designs? Sure. I like them. They are interesting, but I'm not OMG FUCK YEAH about them.   Who here adores meringue? I'm meh about them. They are awesome sometimes, but rarely.     How do people feel about little pocket shrines, maybe something inspirational/motivational to keep in their purses/backpacks/whatever? (Like these: http://www.art-shrin...cketshrines.htm) Motivational stuff makes me gag. I like the look of pocket shrines (kitsch is awesome) but I don't think I'd really appreciate it as much as others.     Do you like Star Wars? Original Trilogy? Prequels? Spin-offs? Favorite characters? I like them because of my dad. While the prequels were utter crap, I love them because my dad took me to see all of them as they opened because he remembered going to the originals as a kid. It was a lot of fun, simply for the fun dad times.   Do you like beef jerkey, I know some may be vegatarian, but where I live beef is a staple and beef jerkey abounds. If so do you it really thin, hard and crunchy or thicker and softer. (OK that borders on obscene)- If it's got muscles, I like it as jerky. I fucking love jerky. I'm more of a thick and soft girl.   I have a couple spare Doctor Who stickers. If my witchee is a fan, would they like a couple Doctor Who stickers in their package? Not a fan.   Anyone love Buffy/Angel? Yup. Love buffy haven't ever watches Angel. I just have a little thing for Sarah Michelle Gellar though.   How would you feel about gummies? Like, gummy bears? Gummy werewolves? Gummy vampires? Gummy is loved in my house. I can't stand werewolves. They are the lamest supernatural beings ever.   How would you feel about a totally original Gela-skin for your laptop/iPod/phone? Stickers? Decals? No to gela skin (WTF is that?) yes to decals or stickers if they aren't the size of my whole laptop, because it already has a ton of stickers on it. My phone could use some as well. But I'm not sure I want to dress up that POS.   Are your ears pierced, Witchee? Do you have any other piercings? Would you like to receive any items of jewelry for these piercings? Just a little! I have three holes in one ear and 5 in the other. My tongue is pierced and so is my navel. All of my ear holes are gauged (14g, 12g, 10g, 1/2" or 13mm) so no normal earrings, please. My tongue could use some new stuff, but I have tons and just haven't changed it in . . . 5 years. 0.0 I'd say go for plugs if you're going to get my piercing jewelry. I have tons I like on my etsy favorites.   Are you looking for a certain kind of DVDs to spruce up your collection right now? No, we are actually thinking of getting rid of all of them.   Do you like Star Trek? Original TV series, films, spinoff series, etc? Favorite characters? Next generation. Again, because of my father. I can vividly remember him cat calling 7 of 9 on the TV.

Last unicorn that sounds good

THE LAST UNICORN Frosty lilac petals, iris pallida root, orris, violet leaf, white chocolate, coconut, wild lettuce, white sandalwood, and oakmoss.   THE BUTTERFLY Fuzzy brown tonka bean, golden amber, bergamot, and petitgrain.   THE MIDNIGHT CARNIVAL Cruelty and confinement, small magics and penny illusions: galbanum, teak, myrrh, narcissus, patchouli, cacao, labdanum, agarwood, lavender, neroli, and black moss.   ARACHNE OF LYDIA Soft brown and Tyrian purple: dusty clove and blackcurrant. MOMMY FORTUNA When the first wagon drew even with the place where the unicorn lay asleep, the old woman suddenly pulled her black horse to a stop. All the other wagons stopped too and waited silently as the old woman swung herself to the ground with an ugly grace. Gliding close to the unicorn, she peered down at her for a long time, and then said, “Well. Well, bless my old husk of a heart. And here I thought I’d seen the last of them.” Her voice left a flavor of honey and gunpowder on the air. “If he knew,” she said and she showed pebbly teeth as she smiled. “But I don’t think I’ll tell him.”   Honey, gunpowder, and pleonectic, twopenny magics.

Some Questions answered

Yup, it's easier to stalk here. Do you like journals/notebooks/sketchbooks? Yes, but I prefer unlined or watercolor paper How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? And if you're in favor, do you prefer classic/contemporary or cutesy stuff? Yes I do and I have no preference. I do love me some saniro.   Anything wanted from latest BPAL update? Any of the inquisition scents. I have decants of the weenies coming, so I might want bottles later but we'll see.   Homemade preserves (e.g. marinated veggies, pickled onions, chili jam?) . Yes please! Chili jam sounds amazing!   Partial BPAL bottles? Sure, or empties. Same goes for imps.   Would you like something you have to make yourself? For example, a kit to knit your own soft toy, or a card making kit, or baking kit, etc. And is there anything in particular you'd like to learn? Kits can be fun. I'd like something more fibery than knitty. Or glass blowing, but that doesn't come in a kit lol.   Who is your favorite soap etailer? Anything that's cold process I'll love. I love a bunch of lush's soaps, and some others from propaganda bath, but they're dead now.   What kind of make-up do you wear? What colors? Is there anything you'd like to try but haven't yet? Does nail polish count? I love polish, and could use some more zoya remove. Other than that, I don't wear makeup, besides untinted lip balm.   What about vintage decoration items, teacups, etc etc? Snails or cactus. Other than that no thanks. I'm rather picky about what trinkets I'll bring in, and I can't really describe them.   Say you were my witchee, and I found things on your wishlist that I could totally make. Would you want me to make it? Or would you rather it be purchased for you? Make it!   With regards to your gifts, would you prefer your presents' awesomeness evenly spread out (several packages of pretty terrific things) over the round or a slow build-up of awesomeness (going up from pretty cool things to something super-duper cool at the end) to go out with a bang? Do you have a preference? Not enough of one to mention.   Do you crave many Ecards and contact or are you okay with little contact from your Witch? I kinda prefer low contact. Please no ecards.   Do you have a place where you list all the BPAL you have or have tried? Haha, no, and I have no idea!   Who would be on your top 5 famous people to get it on with? Uh, I can't think of five . . . Maggie Gyllenhaal, Thora Birch, Scarlet Johansen, and Christina Ricci before she got all creepy skinny.   Maple sugar candy? Never tried it but I love maple syrup.   Chocolate & Bacon? I love bacon anything. Chocolate bacon is pretty good.   Go to your spice cabinet, what are the three most used spices? Rosemary, basil, garlic   Microsoft or Apple? Apple. The only microsoft product I tolerate is xbox 360.   Where was your last vacation? What did you like most? My honeymoon, almost two years ago. The lounging around and shopping. I dunno not having to worry about money.   Would you appreciate receiving handwritten letters and/or postcards (anonymous or not)? How about sending them? I love sending and receiving them, though I do not do it too often.   Are you allergic to any food things?? Cashews and pistachios. All other nuts are fine, and if it says "processed on a facility that processes tree nuts" or something similar is fine. I'm not super allergic, but eating them makes me sick.   Do you hate any food things with a passion?? Not really. I'll avoid broccoli and cauliflower and not much else.   Would you be opposed to receiving a digital version (via email) of a magazine you like but don't subscribe to...you know, in the interest of saving a tree? Kind of. The whole point of magazines is to have a physical copy to me. Most things that are in them are free on the internet if I want to read it on a screen.   Would you like a tea cozy? No thank you. I do use a tea pot, but I don't like tea cozies.   If you would enjoy something of a knitted persuasion, do you have a preference on type of thing? Since making a scarf for someone who has 10 might be a smidge excessive? Also, how do people feel about shawls? I'd love anything you knit. Shawls are nice, but so much work! I'd love a shawlette.   Tea: loose or bagged? Preferably loose unless it's something super special that only comes in bags.

Switchy: Most important!

I just thought of this, and I'm a little ashamed I hadn't thought of it before:   If you make anything, and I mean it, I'd love to have one. I don't care if it's something I haven't mentioned I like, I'd love to see what you can do. Take pictures? send me some! I'd love to put them up on my walls. Really, I love home made things.   And equally, if you don't make anything, please don't feel like I won't like store bought things. Whatever you do, I know it'll be AMAZING!

Switch witch stuff

Links for my Switch Witch.     www.dharmatrading.com I love their dharma fiber reactive procion dye. I'd love any color, but I already have the following: Fire red, periwinkle, hot pink, ultra violet, turquoise, jet black, aqua marine, avacado green, rust brown, plum, peach and kelly green.   I love dyeable sock yarn, my favorite comes from here. I also love tofutsies sock yarn.   I love to try new undyed things to spin. Unusual breeds of wool and other animal fibers. Cotton is something I've never tried. Or any blend that you think I might like! Sparkly things for me to blend in.   My favorite plugs are made by Frozenfire on etsy. Please get 13mm with a wearable length of 8mm. Or anything else from anywhere that has a wearable length of 7-10mm and double flare. I love plugs of all kinds and the flares can never be too big.   I have a guilty pleasure in bath and body works wallflowers. I'd love to try the leaves scent, but also love their sea island cotton, coconut, sandalwood vanilla, sensual amber, creamy pumpkin, cucumber melon, eucalyptus mint, cool citrus basil and orange sapphire. I'd also love any of those scents in any of the lotions or body mists. I'm also eyeing the new halloween hand soaps! They all look so cute!   I love japanese incense. Things with agarwood, moss, woodsy, things are what I tend to like best. The Hinoki from the Kah fuh line by nippon kodo, and nokiba by shoiedo, and river path by shoiedo are some of my favorites.   I also love anything that has a cactus. Especially cactus that has a face or is chibi. Or just cactus. Really, I love the stupid things a lot.   Sellers on etsy: Missyindustry for the heart neckalces, cameo skull, and most of the rings, (I'm a 9 1/2 for thin rings and 9 1/2-10 1/2 for thick), Sarah Lynn Designs for the clockwork necklaces, eggmanstudios for the snails and lolipops, but really any of her prints would be awesome.   Did I mention I collect snails too?   I also love crazy fabrics. I do not care if they are knit or woven, though 100% cotton is usually best (as I will be making clothes out of them). Retroy, owls, cactus, geometrics, blacks and whites. Black thick corduroy. Black denim. I dunno, any kind of fabric, I can pretty much do something with, as long as it's not plastic, or pleather.   I love pens. Any kind, preferably black, but really any color will get used.   Books of just about any kind. Dystopian future books seem to be my favorite.   I'd also love to hear a mixed CD of some of your favorites.   And knit picks. I'd love to try some of their lace weight. I love their needles. I could use a pair of the nickel fixed circular 40" in 2.25mm or 2.5mm. Any of the larger sized nickel plated tips would be very welcome as well. Or really, you see knitting needles somewhere, like a thrift store, and they're cheap, I'll love them! Green needles would be amazing!   Really, I will be greatful of ANYTHING. Just someone out there sending me a cute package is enough. Well, more than enough. <3
