9/11/10 Cake truffles? Yes please! All these food questions are such a tease... Don't tease the pregnant lady.   Are you interested in mini bottles(under 100ml for hand luggage) of bath and body products? No thank you. I have a set I use.   Vampire shows, literature, etc? Yay or nay? I watch True Blood and have read the book series. I also watch the BBC show Being Human (great show, btw). As a librarian, I detest Twilight and all things related to it. I just don't see the appeal.   If you play console video games, what game systems do you have and what games would you love to have? I have a Wii and play several games there. Would like to play the new Mario Game, but I think I'm going to wait and gift that to DH for the holidays.   How do you all feel about flowers and plants? Flower and plant seeds? Drawings of flowers or plants? Pressed flowers? I garden and would love seeds!   How do you feel about marzipan? No thank you.   If you could have 3 BPAL bottles fall (gently) out of the sky right this second that you've been looking for or pining for - which 3 would they be? Voyeurs Among the Cherry Blossoms, TKO, Tobacco Honey   Are there any international treats that you love and have a hard time finding? I love international candies. The odder/more unusal, the better.   Is there anything from the 'Ween BPTP update that you would like but haven't ordered for yourself? I'm still debating an Inquisition pack.   If you are a crafter, would you like to receive supplies from your witch (beads, fabric, yarn/roving etc?) I love beads. I desperately need to sort my imps, though.   If you could be any person, being, or animal from Fantasy what or who would you be? I would love to be a mermaid.   If you could go back to any point in time, where, when, why? I would love to see the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.   Favorite Halloween Candy/Treat? I love those marshmallow filled chocolate pumpkins...   What are your favorite baked goods/homemade treats? Cookies, Any and all kinds. Would you be interested in an astrology birth chart? What is something you use to comfort yourself when feeling yucky, depressed, or in pain? Music and snuggling with my pets. Favorite Halloween/Scary movies/books The Nightmare Before Christmas, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Watcher in the Woods   COMIC BOOKS. Do you read them? Are there any series you like, or some you would like to try? Yes. Loved the sandman series.   Warm drinks? How cocoa. I love vanilla cocoa too.     9/6/10 When you go to an etsy wishlist, it will tell you what things are sold. If you click on the sold item, sometimes it will give options that are similar to what was sold, but not identical, would you like the similar item or prefer not to get it at all unless it's the same item? How picky are you? Not picky. In fact I sometimes like the suggested item better than the original.   Do you wear make up? Not much. Mascara and lip gloss.   Disney movies, Yay or Nay, and favourites if you do like them? I love the older Disney Movies. The newer ones just don't have the same "magic" the old annimated (non-CG) ones had.   Do you have A VCR, DVD Player or Blue Ray or a combo of the three? DVD (through the computer) only.   Would you like custom icons as a gift? Sure   9/5/10 What is your favourite snack food, something you could grab any time? Snap Pea Crisps, Triscuits and goat cheese   Ebooks No thanks. Nail Polish: Love nail polish. Funky colors welcome.   Soft/plushy things: Yes please! No small pieces in case my kids decide they're for them...   What hobby/craft would you like to learn how to do? Knit   For those who decorate for Halloween, do you prefer cute decorations or creepy ones?: A mix. I prefer the realistic bats, spiders and cats over the cutesy ones. Also, as part of the cute-or-creepy question, would you want hand made, molded, glazed (by yours truly!) ceramic decorations (napkin rings, potporri/tart warmers, etc) to add to your stock? That would be awesome.   how do you feel about mortars and pestles I have one and use it often for grinding spices.   Is there anything you have a phobia of, or that would make you go "squick" if you saw it in a package? Nope. I'm pretty hard to freak out.   9/4/10 Are you into Austen's books? Not really. I've read them all, but they're not my favorites.   Do you read Tarot cards? If not, would you be interested? I do. I was taught by a card reader in the French Quarter when I was in High School. So for those of you who are into Harry Potter at all, which house do you think you'd be sorted into? Probably Ravenclaw What, if anything, is your guilty TV watching pleasure? Glee, TrueBlood, House   If you cosplay or need a costume for your bellydance/burlesque hobby (or any other hobby which needs dressup/different from your normal wear), is there anything you need/want for it? DH and I cosplay but we make most of our costumes and don't really need anything.   Celebrity crush?: /shrugs. Not really.   Knitted things?: Yes Please What about [mixed or otherwise] DVDs? Sure DVDs: Do you prefer widescreen or formatted? Either is fine   Music: Any preference towards MP3 or CD? Either is fine Do you like scented tarts? Yes. But I don't have a tart burner. My cat broke my last one and I haven't replaced it yet. I love Alternative Breeding Tarts. Lip balms? YES! Mylipstuff is a fav. Do you have any body mods? If so, do you need any new jewelry, o-rings, plugs, etc (and if so, what size, length, etc)? Do you like pro-body mod stickers? I have several tattoos and piercing. I'm picky about jewelry, so pass. Booze. Do you drink it, would you like some Normally yes, but I'm pregnant. So pass. Unless you want to send some to DH. He loves Booze, too.   What is your favorite artist or art style? (including if you have links to favorite pictures/paintings/photographs) Love art nouveau style.

Any countries you're interested in? India   Would you enjoy homemade bath products (bath salts, fizzies, etc.) and/or linen sprays? Esp. if scented with some of your favorite BPAL scents? yes! Perversion scented items would be heavenly. If your witch made you something and it didn't come out just right, would you still want it? It's the thought that counts... unless it's something like swapping the sugar in a recipe for salt... In that case, I'd still appreciate the thought but would probably pass on the resulting salty confection...   Are you a foodie? Yes.

9/16/10 If I were to knit a scarf, would you prefer a skinny one, or a wide one? A short one, that when wrapped once around your neck will just tuck under your jacket, or a long one, at least to your waist? I like long, wide scarves.   How do you feel about recipes? Love them! Although I usually add my own take on recipes, they'er a good starting point!   What kind of a cook/baker are you? I LOVE to cook and bake.   Are you happiest calling for delivery or microwaving a lean cuisine, Or will Food Network be asking you to host their new program? I cook pretty much every night. I like to challnge myself to come up with new recipes an enjoy trying new techniques/ingredients.   If I send you something home made would you like the reciepe for it? If you'd care to share the recipe, then yes! But I understand that sometimes recipes are personal/family traditions so I wouldn't be upset if you didn't include it.   If you are someone who doesn't want baked goods sent, would you like a collection of some of my favorite recipes? That would be fun.   How about home made mixes or kits? Kind of like the cookie in a jar thing, where you would need to add the perishable ingredients? Sure   if you are a tea lover, what are your flavor preferences? Green? Black? Herbal (I know, technically those are NOT teas, but tisanes)? Flavored blacks/greens? I prefer green and black teas. Fruit flavors are always good.     9/15/10 How do you feek about silly, funny knick-knack, dollar store stuff, stickers, magnets etc? Would you like receiving that kind of stuff or rather not? I actually collect silly magnets (mostly pugs, vintage and places I've visitied). Other knick knacks are fun, but with toddlers, they might not be a good idea.   Is there a specific book you've been wanting to get but haven't found the time or the opportunity to? Not really. I work in a library.   Are you open to receiving things that are not on your wishlist, maybe something your Witch thinks you might like? Yes!   If you have something on a wishlist that we could craft INSTEAD of buying, though it might not end up identical to the wishlist thing, would it be okay to craft it instead? Obviously we don't want to copy anyone else's design, but if we can replicate the flavour or intent that you like without stepping on toes? Of course! I love handmade goods.   OK, I know that lots of folks love socks. Do you have a preference of length? Materials? Patterns? Knee high is preferred since I only wear socks in the fall/winter (I'm a sandals girl the rest of the year). I love funky colors and patterns.

9/21/10 Do you like garlic? Do you REALLY like garlic? Would you want to try some really unusual garlic stuff, like garlic cheese or garlic fudge or garlic chocolate, etc., etc., etc.? Garlic Cheese- zomg yes. Fudge/chocolate/candy- NO. I LOVE garlic. I put it in just about everything.   Can I talk to you about the living dead? How do you feel about Zombies? I think the whole Zombie trend is fun. Just like the Vampire trend, it does get too silly and out of control for my tastes.   9/20/10 If you happened to be my Witchee, is there something you'd like from the Arcana Halloween update? I haven't looked yet, but I love Arcana so I'm sure there is something I would want to try.   How many bottles of BPAL do you have? too many. My bottle list is listed in my blog. I've been collecting since '04/'05 do you like Girl Scout cookies? What kind? Thin Mint.   What's your take on homemade apple butter? Want some? I like it. I also made a ton this year and am pretty set on apple butter, fruit jams and jelly.   9/19/10   Soaps : do you like them? What brands? What scents? Anything you're dying to try? Love soap. Haus of Gloi and Lush are my go-to brands, but any type is fine. Would love to be introduced to new things.   Did someone ask about incense yet? Would you like some? Something to store or burn it in? What scents? What form? Love it. Prefer stick form, but I have plates/holders for cone and loose incense.     9/18/10 Who likes hair toys, and if so what kind? I'm growing out my hair at the moment (read- too lazy/busy to get a hair cut) and would like to try some hair sticks or similar hair toy. Currently my hair is about bra-strap length.   Does any art we may send need to be child safe, either in the actually safe sense or the non X rated sense? No need for it to be "G Rated" art. I prefer to not have gory violent art because it's not my style.     What is your favourite habitat and climate to live in? How about to visit? (ie. forest, canyons, mountains, by the beach; temperate, tropical...) Beach.   Am I alone in this, or is there a Book Fair/Comic Con scent you're dying to get your paws on, too? ALL of them! 9/23/10 Do you collect stones/rocks? I'm talking like "semi" precious stones, ie moonstone, bloodstone, quartz ect. Are there any that you're looking for at the moment? Are you in need of a stone but don't know which kind? I love natural stone beads. Jasper, turquoise and Advenurine are my favs.   What's your favorite Halloween Music? Every year for the past 11 years we've attended Voodoo Fest in New Orleans (outdoor music fest). I'd leave the the design up to my witch. Would you (assumin' you're a yarnie) be interested in a naturally-dyed yarn that's designed to very gradually fade with washing? I love natural fiber yarn...
