They're kinda one of my favorite things ever, and they're animal-friendly and the handles are bamboo. And to top it all off, they work really well for applying makeup. Not a big makeup fan, so no. My 2 1/2 yr old twin girls are in 4T and love dress up/play clothes and shoes. They love cats, stickers, coloring, tigers, toy kitchen items and cars.   My 6 month old son is in 18/24 month sizes. He's pretty much only into breastfeeding and crawling after the cat... but he does seem to like his sisters' cars and other "baby safe" toys I am fond of the thrift. Do you mind lightly used goods? Please be specific! For instance, I'm a little squicked by used clothing, but I don't mind any other used goods (i.e. books, glassware, games, DVDs, whatever.) I don't mind gently used. In fact I love goodwill/garage sale goodies. Do you have an Etsy shop? Do you know of any Etsy shops that are Switch Witch friendly? No shop, but I've found most sellers are very willing to work with you if you say it's a gift for a secret swap.   Would a gift or a postcard from Disneyland make you squee with delight or puke into your mail box? 9/21/10 Do you like garlic? Do you REALLY like garlic? Would you want to try some really unusual garlic stuff, like garlic cheese or garlic fudge or garlic chocolate, etc., etc., etc.? 9/16/10 If I were to knit a scarf, would you prefer a skinny one, or a wide one? A short one, that when wrapped once around your neck will just tuck under your jacket, or a long one, at least to your waist? I like long, wide scarves.   How do you feel about recipes? Love them! Although I usually add my own take on recipes, they'er a good starting point!   What kind of a cook/baker are you? I LOVE to cook and bake.   Are you happiest calling for delivery or microwaving a lean cuisine, Or will Food Network be asking you to host their new program? I cook pretty much every night. I like to challnge myself to come up with new recipes an enjoy trying new techniques/ingredients.   If I send you something home made would you like the reciepe for it? If you'd care to share the recipe, then yes! But I understand that sometimes recipes are personal/family traditions so I wouldn't be upset if you didn't include it.   If you are someone who doesn't want baked goods sent, would you like a collection of some of my favorite recipes? That would be fun.   How about home made mixes or kits? Kind of like the cookie in a jar thing, where you would need to add the perishable ingredients? I actually collect silly magnets (mostly pugs, vintage and places I've visitied). Other knick knacks are fun, but with toddlers, they might not be a good idea.   Is there a specific book you've been wanting to get but haven't found the time or the opportunity to? Not really. I work in a library.   Are you open to receiving things that are not on your wishlist, maybe something your Witch thinks you might like? Yes!   If you have something on a wishlist that we could craft INSTEAD of buying, though it might not end up identical to the wishlist thing, would it be okay to craft it instead? Obviously we don't want to copy anyone else's design, but if we can replicate the flavour or intent that you like without stepping on toes? Of course! I love handmade goods.   OK, I know that lots of folks love socks. Do you have a preference of length? Materials? Patterns? Knee high is preferred since I only wear socks in the fall/winter (I'm a sandals girl the rest of the year). I love funky colors and patterns.
