Cats or dogs? Other? Both. At home we only have cats and birds, but I love all animals.
Musical interests or preferences? Do you play any instruments? I'm a big fan of Take That and Mark Owen as a solo artist. That's kind of a guilty pleasure Besides that, I like a lot of different styles, like Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Lucy Spraggan, Nightwish (old days with Tarja), Marillion, John Denver, Concrete Blonde, Siouxie and the Banshees.
I'm not playing any instruments. My boyfriend sings and plays guitar, both accoustic and electric.
What's your favorite foreign country or language, that you might like to receive items related to? I like asian countries, I feel very comfortable there. I also like Scandinavia and Norway in particular. I almost moved there in the past. Costa Rica was my favourite holiday ever, because of all the animals. I always love getting items related to any foreign country.
New Question: I'm a bit of a clotheshorse, and have a huge closet full of retro and vintage dresses and skirts, etc (think ModCloth, Sourpuss Clothing, Trollied Dolly, Unique Vintage, pinup and rockabilly-esque stuff). I wear a size medium or large depending on the cut (size 8-12 US sizes, depending on cut). Would you want any clothing from me?
Sounds great, but I'm afraid it wouldn't fit. I'm a size 12-14. If you have a size 12 that runs big, it's worth a try.
Is there anything that although you might like, you simply have too many of? Make up Candles or tarts Showergel and perfume (but still like getting this hahahaha) Mugs (but if you have something really nice I'd still love getting mugs )
Gently used items? yes, that's fine to me, as long as there are no hygienic issues.
If I have something I think you would like, but would need to be altered, would you want it? If it's altering I can easily do myself: yes. But if it needs to be taken to a tailor or something, that will probably never happen.
I had all the ingredients for a cookie jar/ bathsalts/ necklace, but they were separated, is it okay to assemble them, or no? yes, I think it would be nice to get something like that.
How do you feel about hair accessories, including adornments like large flowers? No, sorry. Right now my hair's too short for accessories but also when it's longer (I'm trying to let my hair grow), I don't like wearing hair accessories. I think that's because of the glasses I wear. I think adding hair accessories is simply too much.
Are there any kinds of patterns or pattern books you'd enjoy receiving? (e.g., Victorian/steampunk, RenFaire, or other costume sewing patterns; knit hat or scarf patterns; crochet animal/toy patterns; Swedish weaving patterns...) Crochet animal/toys would be nice!
Cookbooks: Yea? Nay? Only certain types/sizes? Nope. Whenever I get one or buy one myself, it ends up in a drawer forever.
Having individual items in my box gift-wrapped would be: I think wrapping is fun! But not required. Whatever my broom decides!

Would you use any lip color and if so, what are your preferences for color, texture, etc? How about eyeliner? No, I use this very rarely and I have enough lip colors for the rare moments I want to wear it.

I have a bunch of World Market sea salt bars (milk chocolate and blood orange, dark chocolate and dried strawberries), 64% cacao black forest cherry pie, bacon & chocolate, caramel & sea salt, PB&J, milk chocolate with honey salt almonds, ghiradelli squares (assortment), pumpkin pie almonds, etc.) I love chocolate! But please don't send chocolate combined with fruits (white choc with fruits is ok though!), alcoholics or bacon/meat. All the other options are nice!

I have a few pairs of fingerless mitts knit up (purple or grey), do you wear such things? Yes!
I also have a small shawlette/neckerchief that I knit (but have never worn) in glittery grey yarn with little bits of purple mixed in. No lace or floofiness so doesn't need to be blocked ever. Yay/nay? That's a nay, sorry. I hate knitted things around my neck.
K-cups? No, we don't have such a machine.
Can I make you a scarf/cowl/sweater/lap blanket to keep you wintery-warm!? Most yarny things are too hot for me to wear. A hat or fingerless gloves/mittens will be nice though! But please no itchy yarn.

Places I've never been that I'd like to travel to: New Sealand, Iceland, Australia, India (to see Tigers in the wild!), Sumatra (also because of the tigers there, but also Orangutans!). Places I've already been to that I love most: Costa Rica (nature and animals!), Thailand, Vietnam, Norway.
